CON!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! Took out insurance had no emails or letters took money then sent a letter saying there was 18 pounds outstanding! Paid it and was then told it was a cancellation fee! I HADNT EVEN CONTACTED THEM TO CANCEL IT! Can't advise people more to AVOID!

Waste of time. Becareful upon renewals as correspondence over the telephone from an agent are not only rude but do not insure you for legal cover or breakdown when you ask them to.

Go skippy are by far the worst insurance broker I have ever come across, I paid my insurance for the year in full a sum of £1200 may I add!! Not pennies for most people. They sent me correspondence by email asking for driving licence details this I did only to receive a email saying we have cancelled your policy, I was shocked and confused I rang them and they said they had cancelled my policy as I had not sent in any proof of accupation even though I'm any of the emails they did not ask for it!! I rang them was on the phone for 3 yes 3 hours tryin to sort this out getting passed from 1 person to another and still it's not sorted out! They then told me that if I wanted to reinstate my insurance I would have to pay an extra £150!! It's an absoulte joke they leave u on hold for around 45 mins and then cut u off so they don't have to deal with your problem I have never encountered such bad customer service ever!! Stay away from this company

Do not use this company! Accepted my money quickly enough and then came up with a ridiculous reason why they couldn't insure me. (Because I originally applied for my provisional in 2000 when I was 17) They cancelled my policy without warning and wouldn't accept that I do indeed have a valid licence. (Which I emailed them) Still waiting for a refund on the money I paid them. Avoid Avoid Avoid

Please AVOID Go Skippy at all costs. Yes they are cheap but if you ever need to contact them, have an issue or need to make a change to your policy you will be left hanging on the phone for half an hour before anyone answers, be greeted with staff who seriously lack in the art of listening or customer service skills and then spend a while chasing your tail getting the issues resolved. Not all staff are as rude but today I've been shouted down several times to be told I'm not listening and they are trying to help. Now I've waited 12 hours for a call back promised for 2 hours. The Admin fees for policy amends are hideous - £50/£60 to change a name or address or even to add commuting!!! I had to amend my name last year, was charged only to find at the end.of the policy it was never even amended. Find someone else just don't put yourself through it!

I am existing costumer neary two years and am telling you guys its total nightmares to get hold of them on the phone,takes least 40 min to an hour to get someone on the phone l,and when you do, they just put you on hold for least 20,25 min.no way i am renewing my policey with go skippy again

Poor customer service. On the phone for over 1 hour trying to understand what the hell the other person was saying. £50!!! To change any details on policy and not even open on a Sunday unlike most insurer's. AVOID!!!

Go Skippy took my full years payment. I did not receive any policy details. Received text message at 14:45 yesterday to say they were cancelling policy as they had not received my licence and no claims details although sent I did not have a policy number to attach. After contacting goskippy. which took over an hour, I resent details within 3 hours of receiving cancellation text. which was the only correspondence I have had from my insurance company in the month I believed I wasinsured . to be told they will not reinstate. They want to charge £130 for this non service.

Had no issues other than every single time I have rang they said I have pressed the wrong number and got through to the wrong line that is a lie it said press 1 for quotes so I did - then the man said I would get a call back - that never happened I've spent two and a half hours of my day listening to the annoying music and still have not spoke to anyone other than to be told I have failed to get through to the correct line and that il get a call back which I didn't - ridiculous !

Everytime I have to call I am on hold for more than 20 mins. Quite often get cut off, their telephone lines are terrible and hardly ever do I get anyone who can help the first time. No policy is worth this amount of trouble I will not be renewing with. Thought I had breakdown cover but told I didn't but then the person on the phone couldn't deal with that someone would have to call me;! Keycare number only works in office hours so don't get locked out of your car after 5pm or before 9am or on weekends!!

absolute joke of a company!...30 minutes to get through to someone unable to answer your questions unless its in their script! was charged £34 to transfer to a new policy, unfortunately my new car was damaged before i had collected it, so i rang go skippy the dame day!!!! and 36 minutes on hold later.. was told i had to pay another £71 to change the details back to my original policy???? ..will be seeking legal action..take heed people get insurance with a proper company . RUBBISH

same as everyone else. take too long to answer calls. a normall call takes around 50 mins nd ive had to make three in two days. 50 pound admin charge everytime you need to change any information on your policy. what a rip off will never use them again once my policy runs out. do not go with these no matter how cheap they look as you will be making a big mistake

go skippy suck dick. they cancelled my insurance after 11 days of taking it out. they asked me for proof of occupation ie payslips they wanted 5 months worth I called them to find ojut why they cancelled and why they needed my payslips? I had gone unemployed after I taken the insurance out due to my mental health with depression I was no longer able to work. they told me they couldn't amend my old policy so had to do a whole new quote et which they did it went from 55.66 a month to 76.66 a month so my yearly was 556.60 and they waited till I made the first monthly payment and then added £444 charge onto because of being unemployed so not my policy is now £1,017.60 which is ridiculous . DO NOT GO WITH GO SKIPPY WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS FIRST.

Just tried to change vehicles on my policy on hold for over an hour passed around twice, then got told they couldn't change to my new vehicle and they would phone me back tomorrow, seriously avoid!

Have made 4 calls to them, none were answered within 20 mins, currently waiting for over 30 mins for the phone to be answered. Called to cancel the policy the day after I took it out, was told could this not be done over the phone and to email cancellations@goskippy. Emailed them, got a reply 3 days later and was told to email cancellations@goskippy not cancelations@. OK my spelling mistake but the message was clearly written by a human, could they not have forwarded it? Emailed again to cancellations spelt correctly. Received another reply asking me to email cancellations@goskippy. WTF? Called them again, and was told to email cancellations@goskippy. Grrr.. Explained I had already done this 3 times , they said I would receive a call within 48 hours. 1 week later still no call from them so I'm back on the phone in a queue, currently 34 mins wait. Call answered, after passing the security check asked to speak to a manager and was told this is not possible. Finally after waiting another 20 mins the assistant was able to speak to cancellations for me and cancelled the policy.

Go skippy as stupid as the name sounds is the same as their go shitty company!cancelled my car insurance 15 days to the expiry of the policy,gave me a bill of 280 pounds!i phoned them to know why I have been billed 280 pounds only to hear I own a finance and a broker fee which I did not even had a finance on the car insurance!pls be warned never to take nothing from them!their customer service is the worst ever,bunch of incompetent fools and poor English communication!dont even know why this company still exists!Run as far as you can if you hear the name go skippy oh sorry go shitty!AVOID,AVOID,AVOID!BE WARNED!!!!!!!!

The worst insurance company I have ever had the misfortune to use. Reviews by people being charged £50 for minor changes are not exaggerated. My cover is over with them now and I thank my lucky stars that I did not need to make a claim during my cover period. Lesson learned will never use again.
