the customer services are ridiculous! on the phone for over 90 mins trying to contact customer services, and when finally put through, somebody answered and said "give me a minute" and hung up on me!! this has happened twice and to say the least, im not a happy customer or bunny with these fools!!! i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE! NOT EVEN THE DOG!!!

you get what you pay for!! I went with go skippy as they can in £75 cheaper. big mistake. Help desk got attitude problem. That's of course when you get through. They state they are open Saturday's but yet They never answer.

Had to send pictures of my driving license several times as they weren't accepting what was sent. THEY cancelled my direct debit and then threatened me with a collection agency. Have been driving around 12 years and I've never dealt with a company with such appalling service. Trying to get hold of someone to talk to takes forever.

You get charged admin fees for everything I changed my address and they charged me for it I removed my partner as second driver and policy same price they are a shambles a disgrace avoid like the plague and then you wait hours for someone to answer the phone bunch of useless people

Very poor customer service!! Has taken me 24 minutes and counting to get through so that I can change my vehicle....disgraceful!!

I chose go skippy simply because they came up the cheapest insurers on a comparison site, so I had to send off my documents which is normal and fine until I get an email back stating I owe an extra £85.04 to the policy and didn't even give me a reason!!! I asked what my cancellation rights were and apparently I didn't have any, so they took the extra from my bank account! This then meant that it wasn't the cheapest around not at all, I. Old have gone with a few other companies which were cheaper than my now overall price. The woman on the phone was rude too and quite frankly wasn't going to listen to what I had to say from the start. AVOID AVOID AVOID...I've learnt my lesson !

Email them so many times with documents required. Received email back saying takes 7 days to respond. I call customer service 15min to get through. The code I sent for dvla expires in 72 hours. But email take 7 days to reply. Why am I doing there job. Don't recommend these

I managed after several attempts and a registered letter to cancel my car insurance after it being in force only 2 days and had to pay £72.00 and still after telephoning for an explanation of the cost could not understand the bad English of the telephone operative in spite of asking a few times. I wrote a letter but have not received a reply after 2 months . They seem only to be interested in taking your money and offering no service.I pity anyone taking a policy out with them.

Go skippy are a terrible company they are not a professional company they are not helpful at all very rude they are not up to date with there admin work since I have been with them it's not stop hassle and stress

These are the worst insurance company my wife and I have ever experienced in over 70 years of combined Driving! Firstly, they did not accept my previous insurer's Renewal Notice as Proof of No Claims Bonus! Secondly they have applied a 'fee' and further charge for a claim that I have never had. They don't answer the phone on the number that they have demanded that I call them on about this and now they have cancelled my insurance. I have never ever had such an appalling service from an insurance company! Abysmal!

Will never use this insurace company again. They set up insurance for my wife as a leaner driver to be contacted by email 5 days later to say that they dont insure anyone who has held a provisional license for over 2 years. But took the money anyway. I was also asked to get a drivers summary from dvla and asked to email them this which i did i received an email the next day and was told that they had received them and that the documents sent were relevant to continue with my renewal policy. Only to have called them up about another matter 3 weeks later to be told that my insurance had been canceled by them because they hadnt received the drivers summary when i had the proof on my emails that they had received them and for the cheek of them to request a cancellation fee which i will not be paying. Then they emailed me again to tell me that they had reinstated the insurance policy when i have already taken out insurance with another company. What a joke! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I would urge everyone, especially provisonal drivers, to avoid Go Skippy insurance as they are a scam! They are providing quotes and taking deposit payments with no intention of providing car insurance but keeping the money as 'fees'. I purchased car insurance with them on the 16th March and paid them £107 deposit up front, only to be told 7 days later that they dont provide insurance to provisional drivers who have held their license for longer than 2 years! I would not be receiving a refund either because of a £50 retainment fee, plus cover provided for 7 days which by rights is invalid!! Whilst on the phone to the advisor my partner got a fresh quote online for me, she told me to email screenshots only to later say their systems where offline - so they are providing quotes, they tell you they will insure you, take your money then provide you with nothing!! SCAM! £107 down and for what? Nothing!

I kept on sending my license and no claims via email, they kept on sending me email to send them again and again. Poor management and data administrative system. Then they write to me via email, they have cancelled my policy and a refund will be sent, which never arrived, as I pay annually. Very poor company that never calls you.

Absolutely shocking, can never speak to them on the phone. Charged me an additional £50 for address change which they cocked up on. Hidden £50 charge for finance which they said was the finance company for direct debit setup. The finance company denied this, turns out go Skippy charge this for finance setup. They have now cancelled my policy 4days before the letter stated I had to provide my no claims & have advised me there will be additional charges to the £92.00 deposit already paid. Please people do not use this company! They should be called Yee ha! Cowboys.

If you are looking for a cheap & cheerful policy that YOU WILL NEVER need to claim on, alter, or call customers services about, then go ahead at your own risk, otherwise avoid like the plague. I changed vehicles and needed to update my policy, tried to call over almost an entire week! Try as I might I could not get through, I was on the phone in queues for 20 minutes+ each time. When I did actually get through to a real human, I got passed around, then cut off. Three times. I was losing the will to live, so I emailed with my request and gave two different numbers I could be reached on. The next day I get an email saying that they tried to call. I checked call histories and there was nothing. They lied. In desperation I called the complaints line, and guess what? I got through to a real customer service agent! But - her English was so bad I could hardly understand her. I gave her the details of my new vehicle, she charges me over £60 to amend the policy, and said she would post & email the new policy details. 48 hours later, no policy. I chased it up via email, and eventually it appeared in my inbox. 'Please check the details are correct etc' said the accompanying message. I did. The value was wrong. I emailed immediately asking for the car value to be amended as it was undervalued by £1000. I get an email back telling me that they have requested a 'call listening', to see what was said on the call. Oh boy. No offer of putting things right or helpful suggestions. Just that they wanted to prove what was said. They come back two days later - 'we have listened to the call and the policy holder said value £2200'. (It's value is £3200). -Again, no offer of help or policy amendment. I didn't believe them as I had only just brought the car and knew exactly how much it cost. I emailed and asked to hear it for myself. 'You can request it online at price £10' was the reply. I asked if they were going to change value for me to the correct value. 'We cannot change the mileage once the policy holder has given it' was the answer. MILEAGE???? I emailed back and explained there wasn't an issue with the mileage. It was THE VALUE!!! 'Yes sorry, I meant the value, thanks for getting in touch' Translation - we have your money, now take a hike. I give up. These people are the most ignorant unhelpful bunch of insurers I have ever had the misfortune to have dealings with. I still haven't received any policy documents by post and it is two weeks now. I would have just cancelled but by doing so would have lost my no claims. I have until May 21st to endure these incompetent insurers, then I'm out of there like a shot. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN.

The wost company to get insurance and staff are obnoxious and rude and there have put a marker against me because I cannot get insurance with another company prices are sky high now avoid Skippy at all costs
