“Avoid these like a plague, they took all my money then cancelled policy saying I sent no claims to them on wrong format it was going through apparently as 4 separate documents, broken. So I re sent it so many times they said they received it but wasn't good enough. I told them I will take this further if they kept this up as they were being totally unfair. I have had many insurance with different companies and never experienced this in my life. I'm having emails telling me I have to wait for feed back which 2 days later no reply. Yes they cheap but now I know why pure scam and id love ferret or watch dog to get to the bottom of this so called insurance company”

Ended up paying extortionate premiums because I changed vehicle twice. Can never get through to anyone unless you call to renew or make a payment funnilly enough.
I'm currently bearing the end of my policy and I'm being bombarded with calls from them still even though I've told them I'd rather stick needles in my eyes than renew with them.

“I am young driver with my first car. Earlier this year another driver reversed into me (tail to tail) and then claimed I was at fault despite the fact I was stationary. Unfortunately the other driver got to the phone and put his claim in first. I spoke to Skippy who told me I couldn't counter-claim, but that they would despute it for me. I was then told the claim had been dropped. When my renewal came up I was told I had lost my no claims, the reason being that skippy had paid out for repairs (£1900) to the other vehicle. At no point did they consult me or inform me that they had done this, despite my original call asking them to despute the claim. They then tried to fob me off by saying it was 50:50 and I would have lost the no claims anyway. I had to pay for repairs to my own car and am now £1000 out of pocket because of losing the no claims. I would strongly advise avoiding Skippy insurance, poor communications, misinformed and didn't represent me well as their client despite the £3000 insurance fees I paid.”
“WORST EVER COMPANY!!!
I have two vehicles and decided to insure them with Go Skippy. They take your deposit and then myther you for documents that you have already sent three or four times. Then once a certain time has passed the cancel your policy. They don't tell you they have cancelled it I was stopped by the police for having no insurance. Luckily the police officer was very understanding and luckily I did have all copies of paperwork in the car with me at the time. When I phoned Go Skippy to question why I wasn't on the insured data base they advised that they had not received documents I had sent numerous times, this was after being on hold for approx. 30 mins.

“DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. This is a scam. They took a large deposit and then cancelled the policy after claiming that I had not sent them all the documents required. I had sent them everything and had all the emails to prove it. Read the reviews, everyone has problems with them. This 'company' needs to be shut down.”
“I had car policy cover with themail and was for £91 but after few month they started taking £147 when I complained the were suppose to get back but never did eventually I had to cancel my direct debit then they didn't want to consider reschedule then they said nun direct debit cover there for I got charged £112 and about they took extra they didn't want to discuss it there at the I got left with a cancellation policy why? I didn't want to extend my cover with what it gave a new insurer excuse but after getting low centre evolved with a week rent car left me damage on image and £500 bill to prove not my fult.”
“Do not waste your time with this company paid for a year upfront took the money out sent my NCD and proof of licence 3times and they are now cancelling my policy because i havent sent them currently been sat for half an hour waiting to speak to someone absolutly rediculous”
“Started policy with go skippy. Who then raised my premium after initial agreement, plus trying to charge me a 50 pound administration fee on top for basically a policy I didn't agree to. After cancelling the policy 2 days later well within the 14 day cool off period they still set up direct debit. And keep calling about policy that is cancelled. Departments don't communicate with each other absolute rip off merchants don't go near them.”
