The worst decision I ever made was signing up with this company! I did a price comparison on moneysupermarket and Go Skippy offered the "cheapest" quote. I was very happy and signed on. Many months later, i was forced to cancel the insurance because i could not pay the premium due to the loss of my job. The premium was £123. Go Skippy responded by slamming me with a £219.28 fee for cancellation et cetera. As if that was not bad enough, my new insurers called to confirm my NCB with Go Skippy and they were told to do a proper check on me and other information regarding me was divulged which my new insurers did not ask for. It was like a very bitter ex trying to get back at you. To crown it all, i have been receiving numerous emails and letters from Go Skippy threatening to hand over the debt of £219.38 to the Insurance Collection Bureau and a default will be registered against my credit file. I am dumbfounded to say the least. Never again! UPDATE: I have just been on the phone with an Agent at Go Skippy. Plans have been made to pay off the £219.38. I politely asked that Go Skippy stop sending threatening letters and emails to me. The agent i spoke to blatantly told me, while trying unsucessfully to stifle her laughter, that they can not stop sending the letters. I guess i am a joke then?

Saved 100pm with this company shame they cancelled my policy without letting me know due to a document they apparently did not recieve no notice and customer service was useless now owe over £100 for a cancelled policy before they will redo a policy. No reply to emails and phoning was just infuriating me

Not recommended. Indon't know who can be happy or maybe that people was very lucky. From my experience with this company it was only to provide documents to proof my address until they refuse everything and after this they said "apologise but we have to cancel your policy" even with tenancy agreement and letter from Landlord they still don't want to accept this proof because the tenancy agreement is older then 3 months...i'm very "unlucky" cause i'm living on this address from 2 years ago.

The funny thing is I've insured with Go Skippy before and then the service was great. Customer service was fantastic. Maybe this time round I've caught them at a bad time but genuinley the worst service I've ever received for anything so much so I am writing a review for the first time. Fiest of all they asked me for a ridiculous amount of documents which i provided, only for them to cancel the policy before the deadline for proving the documents. When asked why they did that the person I spoke to my documentation was all fine and she wasn't sure why the policy was cancelled early but she would contact the underwriter and explain the situtiona nd would get an answer back in 48 hours (so thats 48 unplanned hours with no insurance). I get a call 2 days later and I've been told that my policy has been cancelled becasue my documentation was incorrect and the policy has stayed cancelled. So why did ht eperson I spoke to ealier in the week say it was fine? Well apparently I was lying becuase they would never say that. Oh and i was going to be charged and if i refused to pay i would be in big trouble. Sorry? Well a manager needs to call me back. Days past an no call back no I call again, this time i insist they listen back to the call where I was told my documentation was fine. 24 hours later I'm told yeah fair enough I am right but I'm still going to get charged. Well obviously I'm not having that. So they say, I have to contact the underwriter who will weigh up my argument but as far as Go Skippy is concerned they are liabale. So I have to argue with the underwriter who could turn around and say sorry that has nothing to do with us and I'm the only one who loses. Well at least send em feedback from that call admitting taht I was given false information. Yes, we'll do that today they say. 5 days later and I'm still waiting. So i call again and provide all the security information because I have called that many times, I'm told not to speak until I'm spoken because they cant keep up with my superfast voice. Fine I casy beause at this point i really dont want to even engage with these people anymore. Wheres the feedback from my call. Oh sorry sir, we've have system issues since yesterday and haven't been able to send and wont be able to till Monday now (Bare in mind I was told it would be done 5 days ago). As of now I still havent received a refund, fedback from my call, a copy fo the call itself and I'm pretty sure I've been chosen as the person to wind up this month.

We where with them 3 years. Never a claim. Never missed a payment. Sold the car and they want £210 to cancel. Their website is misleading as it shows a £75 cancellation fee. Its 4 months worth of payments out of the 6 months remaining. Absolute con! And they wouldn't tell us the breakdown of the extra charges. We had to cancel and then they will send by post!! How can we agree to pay until we know what we are paying for??

TOXIC COMPANY! Threats, demands, threatening letters, threatening emails.... it's been non-stop!! I took out a car insurance policy with GoSkippy on: 22/12/2019 It has been a total nightmare with GoSkippy and their other company: Creation Finance sending threatening letters, demanding payments and threatening debt collectors. I have written this document as a formal complaint towards GoSkippy about the treatment I have received from them as a customer. This document outlines the events and my interactions with GoSkippy. I have put this in date order. 22/12/2019 - (When I took out the policy) I received 3 emails from GoSkippy None of the emails above stated that they require any information from me regarding my policy. The emails stated information about their online portal. --- 23/12/2019 - I went on holiday/vacation for Christmas and New Year. I would return on the 27th January. --- 27/12/2019 - I received 1 email from GOSkippy Emails content available upon request. This email told me to login into their website and provide scans or good quality photos of my 'Drivers Licence Summary'. If I didn't provide this, they would and I quote: "WARNING If you do not provide all the documents requested above, within 21 days of the start of your policy your policy may be cancelled. If this happens a cancellation fee would be charged. You will also be charged for the time on cover and a direct debit fee will apply (if applicable). Any broker fee charged is non-refundable." --- 06/01/2020 - I received 1 email from GOSkippy The content stated that they still wanted the information above and I quote: "Please note that failure to provide the above information may result in the cancellation of your policy. If this happens a cancellation fee of £75 would be charged. You will also be charged for the time on cover and a direct debit fee will apply (if applicable). Any broker fee charged is non-refundable." I replied: "What is going on here!?" No response from GoSkippy to my email above. --- 10/01/2020 - I received a letter in the mail from Creation Finance The letter goes on to say: "It is important you sign and return your Credit Agreement within 7 days of this letter to avoid a 10 pound administration fee". It then waffles on about demanding more fines and fees. So now they want a Credit Agreement too!? I wasn't advised about this when I took out the policy on the 22nd of December. Only when I received this letter, which is now the 10th of January! So I now I have two companies sending threats of fines and payments. WOW! --- 13/01/2020 - I received 1 email from GOSkippy The content stated that they still wanted the information above and I quote: "Please note that failure to provide the above information may result in the cancellation of your policy. If this happens a cancellation fee of £75 would be charged. You will also be charged for the time on cover and a direct debit fee will apply (if applicable). Any broker fee charged is non-refundable." I contacted Pamela Khuluse asking why they were sending threatening documents to my home. I asked them why their company: Creation Finance was also demanding fines. I told them I was on holiday until the 27th of January. I didn't get a response for 3 days until I sent a follow-up email. I received a response from Adele Lewis which was a wishy-washy response stating they need the documents. They didn't apologize for the threats of fines, not the threats of fines in the mail by their finance company Creation Finance. They didn't offer a solution as I was on holiday, I only had access to my emails. I dont have access to a scanner or website access. I explained all of this to Pamela Khuluse and Adele Lewis over 11 emails. They did not offer a solution, a delay, extenuating circumstances, nothing! It was a threat for fines, threats for money, debt collection agencies... that is all I got from this company. It is simply awful and I don't wish this on anybody! I was on holiday and I get this from theM! It's dreadful!! They ruined my holiday. I told Adele Lewis I was going to make a complaint. For some strange reason, she wrote a complaint of my behalf and didn't advise me to it's contents. I really don't understand that how works or why she did that without consultation from me. --- 14/01/2020 - I received 1 email from GOSkippy It was an email from Adele Lewis trying to explain the situation but with incorrect facts. She said things like : "Please note that you have until the 19/01/2020 to send through a copy of your Licence Summary. There will be no insurance cover in force after 19/01/2020." despite me informing her I would be away until the 27th. I asked to speak to a supervisor but I just got this back from Adele Lewis: "I am aware that you have requested to speak to a supervisor, however I work in the customer journey department. I have been given the opportunity to look into the matter and I can assure you that am I am trained and equipped to assist.". They just WOULD NOT let me speak to somebody else! Adele Lewis stated " Please note that we have sent you documents on the 22/12/2019. The documents was emailed to you on the same day, therefore you would have been able to read them.". I have all the emails from 22/12/2019, which were 3 emails, and NONE of them asked for scans of my driving history. None. I explained this to Adele Lewis who was provided little to no help and still wouldn't allow me to speak to a supervisor. --- 15/01/2020 - I received 1 email from GOSkippy It was an attached PDF stating : "Thank you for your recent complaint which has been passed to the Customer Journey Team. You can be assured that this matter is being fully investigated, and upon completion of this investigation we will advise you of the outcome.". However, this was just a complaint Adele Lewis wrote without my involvement at all. This was NOT my complaint. --- 23/01/2020 - I received 1 email from GOSkippy It was another threatening email demanding payments: "We are writing to let you know that your policy has been cancelled and there is now an outstanding payment due. More information can be found in the attached letter, it’s important that you read and understand it.". "Outstanding payments must be settled and if we do not hear from you by 14/02/2020 we have no alternative but to refer you to our debt collection agency, Insurance Collections Bureau." ---- It has been a total nightmare. Threat after threat after threat. I had somebody offer little help nor understanding on my situation. The fact is, they didn't ask for this information for 5 days during my policy start date. I have taken insurance out with Admiral via brokerage websites and I have NEVER had any requests for documents. If I document (or anything out of the ordinary is required) it SHOULD be mentioned up front. MANY users take out policies before they leave. In my case, I wanted to drive to the airport for my holiday. I leave the country, and when I return, I had to take out ANOTHER policy with a different company because GoSkippy cancelled my policy while I was on holiday. DESPITE me contacted them and explaining my situation. I do not care who you , but this is wrong to the core. As a British Citizen, I will fight this injustice. It's disgusting and will NOT be tolerated! When I received my complaint from the complains team, they referenced the complaints email: xxxxxxx. When you type that email into your email provider, it changes to Adele Lewis. Wow! Clearly this complaint needs to be taken higher which is why I have contacted the Financial Ombudsman about this.

Do not go with go skippy. They give you very little time to provide information they ask for, they are incredibly unreasoning and if you have a policy they will do all they can to take as much money as possible from you. If your policy is cancelled they come up with silly and unfair charges to squeeze every penny they can from you and use intimidation tactics to try and force you in to it. To add to this when you try and contact them to come up with a solution they give you no help at all. I’m 18 years old and they cancelled my policy after 28 days and want to charge me £800. Do yourself a favour and find insurance elsewhere. Due to them cancelling my insurance unfairly I now am looking at paying nearly 8000/9000 a year which is unplayable for an 18 year old

Very disappointed with GoSkippy although I have been with them for 3 years. I renewed my insurance in December and bought a new car in January. Called up to transfer the policy - I was told to do this online as there was a £30 admin charge doing this on the phone, and that I should fo this online as this would only be £15. Did this online but wasn’t told a price until after transferring the policy. My is insurance went to £85 per month. Competitors advised that the price would be £52.50. Called up to discuss and spoke to very rude people. Ryan Murphy - think that this was a fake name and promised me a call back which I never got. Called again and was advised that I could cancel the policy for 139 and take out a new one. My re-quote was 6000 per year!!! Very disappointed with the service and as soon as my policy finishes - I will take my business elsewhere.

Asks for a ridiculous amount of paperwork at short notice. Call centre staff are rude and unprofessional and shockingly untrustworthy. They dont accommodate servicemen. I was so disgusted with the call centre staff that I cancelled my policy to avoid trouble making a claim. The call centre staff were actually quiet bigoted. I was completely shocked. Theyre cowboys, do not touch with a barge pole. Youll have nothing but stress. Pay a bit more and get treated like a customer.

Go Skippy and their sister company Creation should be avoided. I searched GoCompare for an insurance quotation and one of the companies which responded was Go Skippy. However, I never clicked on this company nor had any contact with them. I then received a text message to state that a direct debit had been set up for an insurance policy. I contacted the company and they were baffled as to why I received the text message. I have now received a text message from Creation that a finance agreement has been set up and a direct debit will be made from my bank account on the 28th January. I have no insurance policy with Go Skippy and have no finance agreement with Creation. Despite protracted phone calls to both companies they are unable to resolve this matter and refuse to confirm in writing that there is no agreement, no insurance policy and no direct debit. I think this is most unacceptable and warn others that both companies should be avoided.

I searched Go Compare for an insurance quotation and one of the companies mentioned was Go Skippy. I did not click on their website or any details regarding this company. However, I have now received a text message stating that a direct debit has been set up but I have not taken out any insurance with them. Today, I received a text message from their sister company creation. co.uk - a finance company to say that they have set up a direct debit for the 28th January. I do not have any agreement with either company and when I contact both they come up with the same silly excuse that there must be a mistake but refuse to send me an email confirming that. Avoid both companies as
