“Was happy to begin with..I payed £210.00 deposit but then had a email days later saying my fiance insurance policy has been declined by monthly direct debit and I had to pay extra £89.00 deposit which will be split into 4 monthly instalments with my £77 a month which my quote was it will be £129.00 a month for 4 months but they said my insurance will be payed in full I chose to pay my insurance every month and was excepted when I registered with go skippy so I don't understand y I got to pay the extra £89.00 deposit when I've already payed £210 as far as I'm concerned I've been ripped off has any one else had this problem? Or is it just me that thinks they r money grabbing t***s”
“My insurance was due for renewal and I was prepared to renew with them but was checking out other prices. They kept phoning me 5/6 times a day despite me telling them not too. Each caller said they would put a note on my account saying no more calls but they still kept calling. 50/60 calls !!!!”
“Paid my first month's insurance a few days later I receive an email stating they need further deteils from me, was told I failed the credit check how they did not know when they first took my payment is beyond me, told me I had to pay an extra £350 odd now I only have 14 days, put me on hold as for ages as this was nit possible for me bearing in mind I'd just paid £245 for my first month's insurance told Ithey will accept the payment but I have to ring up Christmas eve before 2pm and need to pay the remainder of the within 4months of £453 odd, absolutely disgusting so if you have bad credit they're more than happy to try to make that worse, I asked them to not to ring me about home insurance they rang me within a couple of hours I certainly won't be going with them again I'm a single parent and I'm struggling absolutely disgusting so close to Christmas”
“My car was stolen, delayed picking up the car a week due to poor communication when it got recovered. Never hear from them with any updates with my current claim, always me who has to chase to find out this, this and this is missing/required. Well, at what point is anyone going to tell me??
Still waiting to hear from them with the verdict after a month...”
“The worst company I have ever used, would not recommend to my worst enemy. Poor customer service. You wait a life time to get through to anyone and when you do they don’t want to help you, only take your money. They unjustly put prices up upon renewal times, do not allow you to speak to managers when requested to discuss this and if you are wish to cancel your policy when you have not signed for a renewal hold you to what they say you have agreed in to their terms of business even if you haven’t. If you like headaches and poor service give them a go.”

“Go Skippy sud be called go Robbin Skippy only been with em 9 days now they cancelling agreement take deposit and run Robbin twats so won't use em again”
“Worst insurance company to work with! They charge for absolutely everything, and if you want to leave them...even if you paid for the last month, they don't give you the money back, and you pay extra money between 100 and 200 for taxes and stupid laws that they invent! Avoid them with any cost!!!!”
“Everything about my interactions with GO Skippy were an absolute farce. Every time i sent them information believing that to be the final piece of info i'd need to send them, id get another email days later asking for yet more information. I spent 3 weeks after taking out the insurance trying to get the insurance verified, constantly going back and forth, providing more and more information, all the while being extremely stressed over whether I was actually going to be insured or not. Then I recieved yet another email asking for copies of my wage slips and electricity bills! That was the last straw, i cancelled the insurance and had to pay almost £200 in fees. This company is an absolutely shocking nightmare, stay away for your own good. The only thing they managed to do right was remain friendly and
somewhat helpful over the phone, other than that, nothing but headache after headache!”
“Absolutely shocking service ....stressed to the max and everything costs you £50 to sort out ... I only wanted to change the number plate on the car as I removed a private plate ...Jesus I thought I had caused a world war with staff that have no idea !!!!!!
Roll on the end of December an I shall go to a reputable company ...
Fingers well burnt on this one ...Beware !!!!!!!”
“all was well until i tried to change my car. was prompted to do it online via the automated message. so i tried and the portal wouldn't allow for it. i then rang back up to do it over the phone and a simple car change over took over 55 minutes from the point when the advisor answered the call after numerous minutes waiting to answer. i believe that is very poor service compared to previous dealings with other insurance companies, similar jobs were done in less than 5 minutes”
“AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
Took out my policy a few days ago and they have not got to the best of starts....
Did it all online. Paid my £90 deposit and set up a direct debit to pay £90 a month. All was good.
I Then got a phone call from GoSkippy today to advise that the credit broker declined my card for the direct debit and I've now got 14 days (7 days according to the email they sent me afterwards) to pay over £230 and it's going up to £130 a month!!!
As I've already paid my £90 deposit I wanted to cancel but apparently I won't even get that back and I'll have to pay a fee on top!
I have been with several different insurance companies in the past but this one has been the worst.
Stay clear of them guys! I'm sure they do this to everyone which is how they make their money.”
