“Had a quote for £386, payment would not process. Phone customer services who said they could process the quote, but they would charge me £20. Told them that I wanted to process the quote online but their website would not allow me. They refused to do anything and would not wavier the £20 fee. Had to do another quote which was the exact same policy at £405. Ridiculously still £1 cheaper than paying their admin fee! Hope that if I make a claim their customer service is better!!!!”

“For every change you will be charged, even with the so called “portal” where you can manage your policy, except portal is just where you can see your documents , any changes you still have to speak with an assistant.
Hilarious cancelation fee. Wouldn’t recomend.

“They settled the my case with third part paid my damage and now i relaise they take 2 months direct debit and go skippy insured my nothing for two months and when i said why they said you have to call us to settled ?? Ridiculous!you have to have another real insurer to protect from this scams, claim lines summerset bridge,ax,and go Skippy together but they not together in some points when they need to .i dont recommend stay away from them. They dont settled payment and keep taking payments.thief company.”

“Signing up to Go Skippy was easy and the communication was clear. I had completed all the online information but at the end of the process I was then asked to phone to confirm my identity. I was charged £20 for the phone call wicked pushed the premium cost up. I had already taken the time to complete the administration manually myself so it would be great to have the £20 refunded please! Otherwise, setting up a policy was fairly smooth and the customer service agent was friendly.”

“got my first years insurance with this company. whilst it is cheap i was told on the phone that fully comprehensive insurance covered everything damage wise. however 6 months into my policy ive had damage to windscreen. called up to place a claim to get it fixed and have now been told that my fully comprehensive policy does not cover windscreen damage. and the only way i can add it on is by paying the remaining £1,348 + £75 fee to cancel my policy and then buy a new one to be covered. what an absolute joke of a company.”

“I got my breakdown cover from GoSkippy (who apparently use RAC, I found out later. I called the customer service for breakdown cover assistance and a woman called ‘Kay D’ who was hiding her last name and probably not even being honest about her name, took all my personal details and told me I need to call another number for breakdown cover as the number I called was for car insurance Why the hell did she take all my details when she knew I called in for breakdown cover and not car insurance.”

“charged £35 administration fee to change my policy, which went up by about £12 overall, all well and good you say, however this fee was charged MONTHLY when I approached them to say they made a mistake and had in fact continued to take the one off administration charge, they stated no error had been made despite the fact that on the paperwork itself it was described as an administration fee. TOTAL SCAM DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!”
