“Very straight forward quote process with good explanations and options as you go through it. leading to very competitive pricing options. I saved considerably compared to my quote last year (different company).

“Cancelled my policy before my next payment date but they took yet another payment. When I phoned up they couldn’t tell me if it would be refunded, instead taking about “recalculating” and that I might be refunded in 28 days IF I am entitled to it…? Don’t understand why a refund could not be processed whilst I was on the phone and somehow doubt I will get it back. Tried to feed me BS about the payment already being in progress to be taken but actually they hadn’t even notified the credit company of the cancellation which was confirmed when I called them in a panic to make sure NO further payments would wrongfully be taken.
They were a nightmare with requesting documents and wouldn’t accept Admiral’s “proof of no claims bonus” document as proof of no claims. Furthermore they weren’t much help with how else to prove it. They are happy to take money and chase documents but not to resolve any issues.
The cancellation fee was DIABOLICAL at £195. I only wanted to be able to drive my partner’s car as a second car and it wasn’t worth it in the end. Honestly feel robbed. This whole process has cost me £527 and a lot of stress for ONE month of insurance.”
