“Goskippy issued a renewal price 40% higher than the comparison sites. The top selection on the comparison site was Goskippy! The price was £195 cheaper than my renewal, tried calling Goskippy to discuss this and get the cheaper price but phone lines were down, sent them an email - still no response. Goskippy then auto renewed my insurance using the higher price and took all of the cash from my bank with no authorisation to do so!”

“Terrible customer service. Hidden charges for compulsory payments when making a claim. Cancelled the policy after initial payment and was charged an additional £25, go skippy do not accept the customer has the right to change their mind after 2 days and have a full refund.”

“Scam! Done small mistake when buying insurance, even agreed its mistake they canceled my policy. Payed 101 for insurance +35 cancelation fee 2 weeks of having it. Totally scam people its cheaper I know but pay extra few quid for propper provider, because these rubish people will fool you.”
“By far one of the worst insurers I've ever been with, customer services is poor, staff unhelpful and rude. Went to renew with them and they took the £1100, then decided to tell me they couldn't insure the car. Then asked them to refund the money and they said it'll take 28 days, as soon as I said I'll contact the bank and they'll take it regardless, they changed that to 3 days.”
“Had a quote to start insurance on 2nd of June for £484 but needed it to start a day earlier as my insurance had run out, so it was re quoted at £60 higher than original price, so over 10% more for starting it 1 day early.
It was a choice of either saving the money and being uninsured for 1 day or paying their take advantage of the situation price hike and be covered.
Long story short, payed the hike but will go out of my way next year to try and better their price and skippy off elsewhere.”
“The company will harras you for the renewal, as soon as there is a problem or you need to make a claim its a different story. Alao seems that the company are avoiding some taxes or something as they are registered with a fe different names, i was lied to by staff on the phone a few tikes but the best was when i was told the call centre was in the UK by and Indian lady. They are cheap for a reason, if tou are looking for good service and no harassment thrn id advise to go elsewhere.”

beware the finance company they use late payment charges in my case were the same as the insurance payment and the payment system they use goes from the initial payment date not the policy start date
cheaper is not always the best way to save money would never use this company again i should have stayed with the co op the difference was only £70 but you live and learn”

“I renewed my car insurance then rang back to enquire about the 'Green card', where after a few conversations I was left on the line for 25 mins before I put the phone down & rang again where some one new told me they could not insure me for Ireland, only the EU, Germany etc?, then I was told (very abruptly) that I was not being insured at all, even though I had paid for it 20 mins earlier...I have since bought insurance £130 cheaper & my green card is in the post, so thanks for turning me down! I have to add, your phone handlers (the two I talked too) were very rude and stupid people who do not not know what they are doing, this must have a detrimental affect on your business and I will definitely not use or recommend you again.”
