“My policy was due to start at the end of march but because I wanted to bring the start date forward but still in the same month I was charged an extra £109 and my monthly payment went up by nearly £60 not very happy about this.”

Two hours of calls later and never reaching anyone who can help me, its clear Go Skippy are too busy for new business so Ill take mine elsewhere”

I am an experienced driver with 0 convictions and thanks to these guys now have to declare a this on my record for many years to come, doubling my premiums...wow.”

“I have been with his guys more less 5-years Last year the ice took me by surprise I slided and hit a metal fence and no other cars ivolved just my front bumper and i fixed my own car And I didn't claim From 600 pounds pounds now the renewal fee which is due next month is 2500 pounds avoid at any cost I will not be renewing with this cowboys they wait for you to mess up like vultures and when you do mess up whether it's your fault or not they will chew on your bones”
“I have used go skippy for the past 3 years had my renewal quote today based on the same vehicle and the price has had 3000 pounds added onto it with having no accidents and 6 years of no claims bonuses! When i phoned the lady on the other end of the phone was not at all helpful and there was large pauses where the conversation was dead! Explained I had other quotes at a more reasonable price similar to what I had paid the previous year for my insurance! Won’t be using again at ridiculous prices!”

“They accept your policy and after 2 weeks(in case you wanna cancel you'll have to pay more £140) they will start asking for proofs (address -from the last 3 months in condition that I am a home owner and got a child under 12 month and I had no bill in the last 3 month because of the Christmas holiday combined with Covid lockdown rules, v5, driving licence, no claim bonus, payslip, job title, etc) My problem is that they don't do it from the first day or before your policy starts and keep asking everyday new documents. I cancel my policy and Avoid from now on!(I been with Admiral for 3 years and I regret that I chose the cheapest insurance from GoSkippy !”
“Asked me for evidence to validate policy 1 week before deadline. This was over Xmas so could not get the evidence from previous insurer. Told me they would cancel my policy charged me another months payment even tho I'd cancelled then asked me for more money because I didn't cancel quick enough. In all was charged around £225 for 1 months cover.
They are basically just theives. What would happen if you claimed I dread to think. Avoid this company.”

“I just cancelled my car insurance with Go skippy. I'm very sorry but have to be honest I was really disgusted with the level of professionalism form the individual on the other side of the phone processing my cancellation.
Through out the conversation there was load music in the background playing, not a single care in his tone. When I explained I can't here him he just shouted "what's the reason" I explained I have received better financial offers he just replied "OK" and then was about to terminate the call. I had to ask how will I receive information about the cancellation he just replied "email". No offence but there was not a slight attempt of keeping me with the company or any genuine customer service at all quiet happy to leave, such a shame.”
