“Discusting to say the least. Overcharge you for why you have allready paid for. They add on any fee they can. I'm 20 and got charged £350 for cancelling alone (the day I cancelled is the day the direct debit came out and thought I'd be getting a refund after the cancellation fee is taken off) and they still charged me more. A Driver failed to give way and ploughed into the side of my car.
Contacted GoSkippy/Eldon and opened a claim 4 days ago. I can't get to work due to the damage to the vehicle (Body work contacting tyre). I've heard nothing regarding it even though I've submitted all the necessary evidence and currently have my battered car which I worked hard and saved up for just sat there.
The only way I got a response was to submit a complaint which low and behold was just passed to someone else.
Absolutely livid over this situation.”

Someone took my car without permission and when I went to recover it go Skippy made this the most difficult experience of my life ... As the person who took it was now being dealt with by the police Go Skippy would not give me the help I need to recover the vehicle

“Awful service, rip off merchants who have no idea what they are talking about on the phone. Couldn’t get a requested document to them in time due to being away so emailed and explained it’s been requested and they will receive it within 2 days. “My son paid around £800.00 for his motorcycle insurance with this outfit, his bike was stolen, with witness accounts, they have just now refused to payout because he had not chained his motorbike to something, this is difficult because there was nothing to chain it to.There is as far as I can tell nothing about chaining the bike to anything.He parked the bike in a very tight spot, but witnessed accounts said 4 people managed to lift it out of the gap before taking the bike away. They were quick to take his money, quicker than the thieves. Seem Go Skippy are similar as to them. Never use them again, and would not recommend them.Next course of action is the ombudsman”
“Bought Insurance unfortunately I skidded on Ice landed in a ditch the car was a write off they were good at first arranged for transport to get me home and to get the car to the Garage this where it ended, Not once did anyone from the Insurance company contact me again I had to do all the phoning practically begging for the claim to be settled they then had the ordacity to cancel my policy sighting the risk was to high for my cover to continue my last word on this is buyer beware!!!”

“I Requested a Comprehensive policy including business use and paid the premium in full.
Only noticed ( my fault) 8 months later when I needed my documents for work purposes that Business use was not included in the policy.
Contacted customer services who told me that the underwriter Southern Rock will not insure business use when I went to add it to the policy for the remaining 3 months.
Not only was I miss sold the policy but the only thing they could do was provide me with another quote from today for a year and that I,would lose 3 months cover AND be charged a cancellation fee! Absolutely shocking.
If you use is company check every fine detail of your policy otherwise you may be conned as I was.”

“I have never in all the years being insured have I ever been with company that is rude and dishonest and constant! Harassing coz a DDR was bombarded with texts phone calls emails ! the only people that was very understanding was the finance creation part of this insurance agency they wer polite and understanding shame they are working with rude arrogant overseas telephone people !”
