“I am goskippy customer and few months before I tried to contact with them as I wasn't sure what is my insurance cover. however, the guy who answered my phone asked "If I am in trouble" and when I said "no" then he said they are not dealing and they changed their phone number, obviously I reacted and said "this is a very important changes and why I am not informed about this", he couldn't reply. Seriously I was in a state to don't know what to do if I really need to make a claim until last week. Last week Goskippy, contacted me to renew my annual insurance by text, phone calls, and email.... then I received text message was saying they are taking care of me and will take money from my account! they couldn't. I said myself what I am going to lose, they are the cheapest, let's renew and guess what happen? the phone number is missing on their email!!! you are not able to communicate with them!!! exactly the same experience when I need to contact with them last summer. But if you check the attached file you will find a different phone number for renewal team!!! so what is my plan? pay bit more and feel safe.”

“Absolute cowboys DO NOT under any circumstances take a policy out with these people - these same people who think that paying nearly £70 per month for a policy that doesn’t include taking your children to Nursery or the basic necessity of driving yourself to work so that you can afford there extortionate fees is acceptable!!! “I have been driving for over 20 years. I passed my driving test in one of the EU countries in 1998 and I decided to swap my full EU driving licence for the UK one last month which DVLA issued very quickly. The initial quote based on 20 years driving experience without any accidents came to £288.70 However, when I called them to discuss the quote, the price rocketed to £581 as my UK licence was only issued last month. I then spoke to a number of other insurers who agreed with me that my driving experience is 20 years as stated at the back of my driving licence (1998) and their quotes remained the same. Would not use Go Skippy as very short-sighted.”

“Goskippy claim to provide customers with an excellent service experience throughout their policy. I can assure you not every customer is provided with the service they claim to provide. Choosing to open a policy with Goskippy is the worst decision I have made when it comes to car insurance. I have had nothing but hassle since I phoned their customer service team. I was mislead and passed between numerous different call handlers. When I contacted them via email to point out a mistake, they continually neglected to answer my questions and ignorantly believe they have the high ground. I have been patient and reasonable, but they have failed to provide me with answers and “excellent customer service”. Emails between Goskippy and I have been going back and fore since 17/10/2018 and will continue to do so until they have returned the money, they owe me. The situation is not complicated either, I already had a policy and I wanted to change my vehicle, I was led to believe they were cancelling my policy and opening a new one for a quote they had done on the phone. Instead they charged me the whole sum for my new policy and never refunded me the quoted amount for my old one.”
