“Cancellation nightmare! BEWARE of high cancellation charges/ admin costs / interest. Can be as much as your annual insurance! Poor customer service to boot with continual threats of collection when account paid in full & closed even when ringing seversl times! Poor!”
“Are very unhelpful. Tried to change my address and one condition on my policy the price I was quoted was NINE times my original then I tried to cancel the policy and they wanted to charge me £75 pounds. Every customer advisor I got their first language was not English. Don't use them”
“If i could leave zero stars i would!!
Simply a scam! I took out a policy, and shortly after went away on business for several weeks. When i returned they had cancelled my policy as i hadn't sent a letter of proof of no claims, as i was obviously away. Having tried to contact this so called company, all staff members are non compliant. No one can help or wants to. They are just happy to take my money and cancel my insurance!! I dont want this to happen to anyone else. I have never spoken to ruder staff in my life and looking on this forum i can see it is a common problem. I dont know how theyre allowed to get away with it.”
“Absolutely disgraceful service, took out a policy and paid in full. Had no e-mail within 24hrs for my online portal log in as they stated in the thankyou for purchasing e-mail. 4 weeks down the line i have a letter in the post saying they are now starting cancellation proceedings at a cost of £75 as i have not sent drivers licence copies to them. I have had no e-mail, letter or phonecall from this diar company. After a 35 minute wait on the phone, i explained my situation only to be told they have sent the infomation and i just havent recieved them and then she hung up. By miracle, i then checked my e-mail and minutes after the call was terminated i have an email stating if i now send the required infomation by the 20th the policy will not be cancelled.
So fast to take your payment in full and to screw you over.
Steer well clear.”
“We had a problem with direct debit after my wife was put out of work. We contacted this company, put on hold waited for call back as promised didn't happen. Phoned them again same thing. Then received e mail threatening cancellation and £75 fee. We eventually got it sorted but via a payment plan. Pay every month and same thing on hold, wait return call, phone back, same again. Don't even answer e mails or live chats. Steer well clear absolutely rubbish.”
“They charge you £75 cancellation fee.
They put you on hold for way to long. After putting me on hold they said they would ring me back and never did.”
“had to ask the woman on the phone if she was having a bad day as she spoke to me like she couldn't be bothered.. paid my premium in full (ends in December) only to be told I had to pay 50 admin fee to change cars and at least 75 if I want to cancel my policy?!?!? jokes absolute jokers”
“I desperately implore anyone that has a policy with or planning to take out a policy with these con-artists to find a policy elsewhere. They conveniently lose "recorded" phone calls and notes that are to be left on file and only seem to have 1...and I'll stress again 1 complaints handler (CARLY ROSCORLA) whom believes she completed a full investigation but after I advised not 1 but 3 different people at their call centre to insure all correspondence is only sent via email or telephone conversation managed to send my final response to my OLD ADDRESS”
“You can't get through to anyone via the phone system, they don't follow up on claims and their customer service is a joke. Expect to spend a VERY long time tracking them down if you do have to make a claim.”
“I used to skippy and found the call centre to be difficult to understand,I have insured with them only for price,I found this company very diddicult to deal with and have received so many emails from them from so many different people for the same request,my proof of no claims to them was not accepted yet admiral is was? If I had known how awful this company was I would never have even called them,I am now not even sure if my car has valid insurance to drive on my start date due to my proof of no claims, they need to stick to the old fashioned way of-postal and paper,as they made it so stressful to just get simple car insurance,so now I can't even drive my car as I'm not sure if it's insured?do yourself a favour, pay a little more and get a decent company!”
“You miss old me breakdown cover with the amazing RAC Never again.you cost me £200 + on the day of my breakdown.your amazing RAC were a joke who showed no compassion for me or my passenger. And now because of the breakdown iv had to scrap my car because of the cash layouts.THANK YOU FOR NOTHING.I look forward to you charging me a cancellation fee through no fault of my own.”
“The constant bombardment for renewal notices, email, phone calls, and text about renewing my insurance this has been nonstop for 4 weeks. They don't get it when you say stop calling and continue. The customer service is ludicrous and simply won't listen to the customer. They may be the cheapest but they are the worst for customer service. So they have lost a customer and anybody else who reads this should abandon them as well.”
“Please avoid this cowboy outfit at all cost. Lost 1 year no protective claims, admin error on their part, but spent many hours on the phone to them. Assured problem had been rectified and the error would be sorted and be issued my 1 year no claims bonus but of course they couldn't organise a p_ ss up in a brewery. Very poor customer service. Never use this company again.”
“they cancelled my policy because i hadnt changed my details to commuting use after i was in a very small incident. . . . id had the job for 4 days and hadnt had a chance to sit down, so now ive lost my no claims and have a cancelled policy on my record because of this heartless company.”
“All of these people rating 5 stars, i wonder if any of them of had the experience of actually trying to use the product they are paying for or just the price to put them on the road. I had the misfortune of being in a smash last week and you would think after i've payed out £1200 for comprehensive cover i should be ok. WRONG! My car needs scrapping and i was advised i could be paying hundreds to get this done. I'm so confused, can go Skippy Tell me what Ive actually payed for??”
