“terrible service!! tried calling on tuesday to update my address as its the right thing to do!! Was put on hold for 15 minutes right away but ended up hanging up as i had to leave work and i was using the work phone. Tried again today and exactly the same thing has happened what the hell are they actually doing!?!?!?!? The lady answered i told her what i was calling for and she said she would put me through to the right department.. still waiting 20 minutes later, is this even a legit company! Definetly going to cancel!”

Have been charged for 2 cars when I had only changed over not added another car. And they wouldn't accept this and refund me first year with them no problem second year.... “Yep same as, debenhams canceled my policy because the dont understand how dvla work, but the letter heads said go skippy . 175 deposit then took another 86 out of my bank the exact same day they canceled me and now think there getting another 65 ha ha haa, good luck skippy , ombudsman here i come. Please please avoid
And they tried to sell me the same policy under go skippy less than an hour after canceling me. These cowboys should be shut down, i wonder if they've ever actually paid out on a claim???”

upon myself calling about a renewal for insurance i found staff rude and unprofessional in there job keeping me on hold more than they actually spoke.
in the conversation i did have i found out i was mis lead in buying car insurance from them between 2014-15 and when confronting them again i was made to feel they just wanted my money and did not care”

“This company is a scam!!! Ive been charged £80 joining fee and confirmed for the next payment through the phone wich took me hours to speak to some1 and after 4 days its been cancelled for no reason. The funniest thing is that i have to pay the cancellation fee and the joining fee too.
Don't try to call cause you will be transferred operator to operator, each transfer takes aprox 30mins and poor connection so it must be a scam.”

Anyone experienced having Eldon fish for dirt after making a complaint against GoSkippy? I made a complaint last night as they cancelled mine and my partners joint insurance because we got the date wrong for when his provisional licence started. The mistake was unintentional but GoSkippy refused to let me amend the policy and pay extra instead opting to cancel the policy leaving me having to answer that dreaded question every time I apply for insurance from now on; they of course managed to charge me silly money for the cancellation as they said the mistake was ours and also told me I could reapply for a policy after ours was cancelled!!! I have a cart-load of no claims on another policy but this will still affect me badly so I want redress as this was an innocent mistake. Anyway, my partner today had a call on my mobile telephone from Eldon asking him about an accident he has never had; he is a learner and has never had an accident and he has never given my number as a contact so what gives? I'm really not happy as what they have done is going to affect me financially for all time and instead of fixing it they're fishing for dirt! Next stop ombudsman.”
