Terrible company, my son used these until he had a new bike, go skippy couldn't insure him on this so he no choice but to leave, this wasn't out choice but was charged £68 anyway, not being very happy at this I asked what they did to warrant this charge,I was told"we do absolutely nothing " my son being on full time education had to set up a payment plan, his first payment was rejected and sent back, he was then told he had to pay double as he hadn't paid his first instalment. He is getting emails phone calls and letters saying they want the money. When he rings has on the phone for about half he at a time being passed round all at a charge to us. I would never recommend this awful company

Do not insure with go skippy! very poor customer service (also unable to understand, their English is so poor to make things worse)was told a price then later after I paid my additional payment was told the price was given was only an estimate even though I asked is this the actual price not once not twice but three times!!! It went from £100-£190 even if it was an estimate it's not even close!! explained this is too high for me to pay after calling every day for a week and passed around and cut off and was told it would be fixed and I would receive a call back iv called since then numerous times they tell me the manager is busy and he will contact me been another two weeks and they have taken £190 from my account without my permission. they have literally 5 workers working there I assume this as every time I call sue answers or another guy. it is so bad its actually unbelievable. :( BELOW IS SKIPPY APOLOGIZING NUMEROUS TIMES WITH THE EXACT SAME MESSAGE WITH AUTO RESPONDER THEY CANT EVEN TAKE THE TIME TO ACTUALLY APOLOGIZE TO THE INDIVIDUALS THEY HAVE RIPPED OFF ! AGAIN POOR SERVICE AND ITS NO BETTER AS IAM STILL SAT WAITING TO BE CALLED AS RANG THEM THIS MORNING AGAIN!!!! AND GEORGIA PROBABLY DOSENT EXIST!!!!

1 star is to much having move to them as they were cheap they have now doubled my insurance to 72.00 and taken an extra £10 out of my account.please please avoid

Having been tempted in by cheap motorbike insurance i immediately regretted it when their own website generated my policy documents with incorrect inofrmation. I contacted their customer services team and was told that because its done online its all my fault and i had to pay and administration fee to correct their error!! the fact there were questions on their website like when did you pass your driving test and it was populating CBT training information on their document was a clear mistake especially when a CBT only lasts 2 years and their system as completed it with my car driving pass date. i tried explaining this obvious piece of information to their customer services member of staff and it was very clear that their call centre staff know nothing about the products they are selling. my only regret is that i cant give a lower than 1 rating and that i didnt listen to others.

After 10 months of the worst customer service I have ever received, I am now to complain to the Financial Contact authority. Go Skippy have tripled the premium quoted in June 2016 to what they now want to charge, they never call back when they promise to, never respond to emails and in the event you need to make a claim, an accident of no fault by myself they refuse to chase up the claim they would rather leave you with the damaged vehicle. Avoid taking any policy with Go Skippy at all costs !!!!!!!!! far better to pay a small additional premium with a more reputable company than deal with this Shambolic Company!!!!!

DO NOT INSURE WITH GO SKIPPY! They are cheap but you get what you pay for, firstly you have to send documents over that are a ball ache, they will charge you at every possible opportunity they can which is why they have their T&C's, then if you need to make any adjustment to you policy you cant do it on line so you have to ring them and finally the reason for the review if you buy a new car on the weekend and try to add/swap insurance then you cant as the call centre is not open on Sundays! Wamkrs! ;-)

I'm giving them one star because I don't have a choice less than this. I cancel my insurance because my car failed the MOT but they send me the bill of £106 even though cancellation fee only £50. Don' even go near to this insure.

SIGNED UP TO SKIPPY THIS WEEK, NOT IMPRESSED SO FAR, I HAVE HAD TO SEND THEM VARIOUS DOCUMENTS, NEVER HAD TO DO THIS BEFORE, THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL WITH DOCUMENTS WHICH I COULDN'T OPEN OR SAVE. I CALLED THEM, THEIR PHONE BASE IS IN SOUTH AFRICA Mmmmmm I SERIOUSLY HAVE DOUBTS NOW AFTER READING ALL THESE REVIEWS. TRUST ME THEY HAD BETTER NOT MESS ME AROUND OR CHANGE WHAT I HAVE AGREED OR IT WILL BE THE LAST TIME THEY TRADE IN THE UK.

I recently took out a policy with these guys after a recommendation from a friend. I got a text today saying I had to pay an extra £477 + £50 Admin Fee for saying my details are different. I have held an EU licence for 12 years which I recently converted to UK and they are saying Ive only been driving a month. I cant afford to pay this on top, they were not the cheapest quote I had, and other insurers were happy with my licence but as I said before my friend said they were good and I put my trust in them. Now I have to cancel, find new insurance and lose £75. All I want to do is keep my car insured with them but I simply cant afford to pay the extra. So disappointed!!! Tried to call, got cut off twice while holding, they simply don't care about there customers.

Made numerous attempts to call them as I changed my car and wanted to update the details. Every time I was left on hold and on 2 occassions over 20 minutes each time. Absolutely ridiculous.

I took out car insurance in May 2016 and decided to change my car in November 2016. I was told there would be a £50 charge to change or cancel my insurance so basically, I had no choice but to continue with them until my renewal in May 2017. I changed from a 1400cc Clio to a 600cc Smart car and expected the insurance to be cheaper...not at all!! I will certainly not be using them next year and will be shopping around for a better price.

Worst insurance company ever. Took insurance out in September, had email a few days later for license information and copy of no claims, which is normal. I then got a email requesting confirmation of occupation, v5 vehicle registeration form, confirmation of home address. I provide this information to them by the 3rd of October 2017 and had a conversation stating everything is ok. I get message today 25th of October 2016 STATING MY INSURANCE IS CANCELLED. I have been on the phone since. What bothers me more than that is that I made a trip to Manchester with my Child in the car and potentially I could have been travelling illegally with my Child. Luckily I had reached my destination before I got a text message. I have been told since I need to take my V5 New keeper slip to the post office to be stamped and then send them a copy. I explained that you have accepeted all my documentation on the 3rd of October and I did not need to do that. They have now given me till 5pm today to get back to Birmingham get my slip stamped the the post office and send back to them. Told them it's Saturday post office is closed but they have said they have no choice but to cancel. So now I'm going to be stuck in Manchester with no insurance. Honestly save your self hassle and possible prosecuation for non insurance . DO NOT INSURE with GO SKIPPY

I NEEDED TO ADD MY 34 YEAR OLD SON TO MY INSURANCE AS AN ADDITIONAL DRIVER THEY QUOTED ME £499 PLUS A £50 CHARGE FOR DOING IT. WHAT A RIP OFF. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS.

Shame there's no option for no stars. Don't insure your vehicle with this company. Had ours cancelled within 6 days so lost £110 deposit for nothing! Wish I'd have seen all the previous bad reviews before hand , I wouldn't have wasted my money or effort on this company.

Terrible company, my partner has recently started up a new insurance with the company, within the space of two months, he has had his insurance cancelled with a day notice! He has then been told he hasn't sent a photo of his driving licence, which he was not informed of. He was fined £50. He then received a letter stating everything was up and running as he had to email the photo over, he then received another letter, stating he needed to contact them to make a payment as they found a material discrepancy in the information, that he had NOT been informed of previously, he Finally got through and they fined him again for the photo not being clear, although the photo is very clear due to having a top of the range phone. Tried emailing and phoning and surprise no answer, this will be taken FURTHER if nothing is done within the next week.

Skippy between u and confused.com u have lost me my professional job for not insuring me as a additional driver when it clearly showed on confused i was a additonal driver am going to take this matter into court as you skippy nor confused want to take the blame for your errors u dont deseve to be a insurance company cost me my job aswell as changed my normal life as i cannot now afford insurance to drive me and my wife have a 12month old daughter too in which as added extra stress to my wife everytime i need to go out or we do with our child as she has to drive i would strongly give advice to any1 who wants to go for skippy insurance DONT do it trying to get in touch with you is a pain up the backside i now await to take this matter into court and either skippy or confused.com be rady as i want to see all of my data n how it was shared brtween confused to you skippy cheeky u are never even bothered to check if the person paying for the policy has agreed so now am paying skippy you for just my wife when rightfully it was getting paid by both of us ihave written to you and yet no reply? Why? The old saying is it? 'Didnt get it in the post'

Try answering the phone some times it might stop you losing customers. I changed my car this month and wanted to save hassle and just insure my new car with goskippy, could get through at all on the phone, sent an email asking for them to contact me, 1 week later still no call. Finally got through only to be told need to email for a cancellation as can't be done on the phone???? Then also to be told might be more than the £50 cancellation fee? Why, I haven't made any claims?? Can't find the email address to send the cancellation request too now and not showing on their website and the office is shut!!! Aaggghh so annoying, avoid this company, they have no customer service skills at all ????

Terrible terrible company, shocking customer service. £50 to change my car on the policy and to change from 3rd party to fully comprehensive, BUT they failed to make the change I had requested. They then said that they are unable to change the policy and I would have to wait until I renew! Horrendous, deplorable bunch - will not be using ever again.
