Insurance canceled because of a discrepancy over photo of driving licence (which by the way is completely vaid) instead of calling to sort it out you cancel and charge a £50 fee! Plus the £126 deposit we've paid 16 days ago. Funny how this all came about just after the 14 day cancellation period. So now we are left with no insurance, we can't tax the car and have no money to pay a deposit on another provider! Customer service is shocking and no help whats so ever.

Phoned up yesterday to change my partner from a provisional driving licence to a full UK driving licence. Was then told that they have to get feed back from their underwriters Southern Rock, and was told to wait for a call from them! 24 hours later still NO phone call! I Called back and was told the same thing. Also a few months back I tried to add a friend to my insurance and again they had to wait for feed back from their underwriters! Was with Hastings before GoSkippy for years and never had any problems. What company is this in where every choice the customer wants constantly has to be referred to their underwriter! More to the point what kind of underwriter doesn't get back to their brokers??? I feel a complaint to the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) is in order! I would AVOID GOSKIPPY!

DONT DO IT. Worse customer service you can imagine. £50 just admin fee to change vehicle over, constantly on hold and putting you through to different departments and just talk over you. Soon as you go with them and want to change vehicle the premium ROCKETS! I'm 28 and my van in £183 a month!!

Don't do it.these fraudsters take your money then send threatening emails ask for documents repeatedly then charge cancellation fee as they give wrong policy. Do not insure with them

They made me fill in 4 pages of information, took my mobile number, my address and my whole life story, then on the 5th page say "Sorry, we were unable to give you a quote at this time, please ring this number". I intend to leave this kind of review on at least 5 other websites.

DO NOT BE FOOLED 1 MONTH INSURANCE FOR 150 A JOKE NO 47 INSURANCE FOR 1 MONTH 50 CANCELLATION FEE AND 68 BROKER FEE HAHA YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Giving this company one star is too much! It is the worst insurance company I've ever had the misfortune of using in my 17 years of driving! After taking payment for a year's policy, they cancelled my insurance half way through the year without notice and still haven't refunded my money!

this is the worst company on earth, customer service is rubbish. I have been a customer with the so call go skippy for two years, each time you make any change say you change your address you will be charged an administration fee and more. I had a hit and run got the registration of the perpetrator reported the incident to goskippy I was told a company car enterprise will come and pick my car to access the damage and repair it. After two weeks I heard nothing from Enterprise then I gave them a call and the said goskippy did not pass any information about me to them. I called goskippy and they said we sent it but the information did not go through. I then raised up the incident again I was given the other driver insurance code and was asked to call his insurance company myself' I said you are my insurer you should be fighting for me not sending me to call the other insurer. Anyway, I went on to call the other company and they were soo surprised that my insurer had asked me to call instead of them handling my case as professional should do. This is a sick company Avoid them, please

Having ridden Motorbikes for along time, and not having any no claims, Go Skippy came up as the best price on a comparison website, the premium was high, but i went with it. I sold my car and wanted to update my insurance to the new car, while at the garage I phoned up to get the new car covered, 47 mins to get through!!!, then my car premium went up! from a petrol 2 litre 4x4 to a 2 litre saloon diesel, and got charged £92 for the admin charge!! £92!!!. The lady who took the call was very dry and matter of fact, not good customer service, I have since done another comparison for my new car, and the difference is £745 to £446, that's more like it, I would avoid this company at all cost, quick to take the money and frustratingly slow at answering the phone. Avoid.

I was involved in a accident not of my fault but you guys forced me to claim of my own policy charge me £425 excess and take 2 years no claims even though the 3rd party is at fault and you know this you wouldn't recover my car from the scene of the accident until I claimed against myself and you left my car there for 5 days only to get broken into and valuables that were my late father in laws was stolen I had no choice after the accident but to leave it all in the car as I was left to make my own way home. Your stall on the phone were rude to me and all told me different things from one another

It didn't have the option of no stars as in my eyes 1 star is too high for this bunch of robbers. Set up new Insurance with them and declared a conviction of tt99. They accepted me and gladly took £157 off me, one week later they wrote to me saying my policy was being cancelled as I hadn't disclosed my tt99, even though I showed them proof that I hadn't lied they still cancelled, just to rub salt into the wound they said my policy was cancelled from the 13/10/2016, yet they took the first monthly payment from me on the 14/10/2016. Now they are saying I may not be entitled to any of my money back, goskippy are a bunch of robbers plain and simple and I would highly recommend you don't touch them unless you like being fleeced of hard earned money.

now receiving emails for other customers .... Intelligent bunch ... And ooo looks so like an automated email .. When you say try to contact you mean you ring and hang up .. Bad enough you take our money cancel policies demand extra monies take aboot 40 hours on a phone call to even piece it all together full blown disgrace of a company mind you least I got a reply might not have been my original query as think you are ignoring my emails too but got an email ???????????????? Mr coull there trying to get u if u get them tell em I'm awaiting my reply and money please

Spent my life on hold with them , currently on hold again my policy been cancelled due to there error wants to be fixed today as I'm taken this all the way and please don't reply with your automatic response pure joke

Worst insurance company I've ever used. Sent them proof of my driving licence and my NCD then they said they needed more proof of address so I sent them a credit card statement and then they came out with some rubbish saying it had to be stamped by the bank, I was on the phone for over an hour trying to sort it out then after all that I find out I'm not insured to drive other vehicles even though I bought comprehensive insurance. Please pay the extra and go with a real insurance company

worst insurance company I have ever had got the quote off compare the market I chose to pay monthly and paid the deposit a couple of days later I decided to pay the remaining but rather than them charge me the remaining they charged me the quote I got in the first place plus the deposit which resulted me being nearly £200 worse off when I later rang back they refused to settle this and refund my deposit what happened to good customer service?? my insurance runs out in February and I shall never use this company again!!

Currently trying to sort out insurance.. Paid over £250 deposit which they took straight away.. Now trying to demand paperwork and my deadline to hand it in is getting shorter. Threatening to cancel my policy. Constant emails for my information. Do not recommend this company at all! I'm looking at losing a lot of money because of them! Rob dogs! Need reporting to watchdog!
