Don't go anywhere near this bunch of clowns! Took me 8 days to cancel one policy and get them to quote for another, no return calls as promised, over two hours in total 'on hold' - forget it!

Wouldn't even leave one star. Had policy with for 2 months. Changed my address and paid excess of doing so. When paying I asked is that all my policy ok now and nothing else I need to do. All was well. Today I get a text to say policy was cancelled. I called them straight away there saying they sent me a letter and email 7 days ago stating if I don't send them proof of address by today my policy would be cancelled. I have not had one letter saying this nor email, although have received other emails from them asking if I would like to leave reviews and if I want home insurance. None at all saying my policy would be cancelled if they don't get proof of address. Yet they can text me to say it's cancelled. Not text me to ask for information or that they need proof. Not happy at all spoke to 3 people and none can prove to me they sent me these emails or letters. Waste of so much money over 2 months especially as anew driver!

Just got an email saying thanks for taking your insurance with go skippy??? What insurance... I cancelled 2 months ago and went with Admiral and asked them to delete all knowledge of my contact details.... grrr such a bad company. Had to complain just to get them to stop calling me 10 times a day when i was not going to renew!

Been trying for a week now to change my policy to businesses insurance. Was on hold for over 30 minutes to be told as they are experiencing a high level of calls they would ring me back in 20 minutes. No good for me as I have to leave for work and don't get home till gone 9pm.

Cancelled my car insuranve,was told had to pay £50.00 then was told total to pay is £126.00. Be careful with this company they win rob you angry and force you today with collection services. I will bother sign up again with Skippy.

I recently (June 2016) got insurance at GoSkippy. It states that I do NOT own a security device for my motorbike. It got stolen in October 2016 and they say are not paying because I did not use "my" Oxford Disc Lock, a device I have never owned or that's even on my policy! I'm sure the ombudsman will have a field day with this one! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

My Insurance hasnt even started yet. Paid in FULL 4 weeks ahead of the existing insurance to run out. And kept getting emails asking for copies of my driving licence and whether I had convictions. Wasnt happy sending copy of driving licence there is information there that is private, didnt mind validating my address. But its a blooming nightmare I sent them screen shots for the proof I have no convictions, and now they want a sodding code to prove it. I demand my money back in FULL. The Insurance hasnt started yet. I still have the 14 day cooling off period. Never Use Go Skippy very very unprofessional, staff dont read emails either. REFUND IN FULL REQUIRED!

This mob are horrific, insured my car in June and they've been taking the premium every month, I had cause to call them only to be told they had no record of me at my address? I've just had to pay 78 quid to change my address even though they had it wrong to begin with. Now if I want to cancel I'll have to pay a cancellation fee. Please please don't use this comany, their call centre staff are barely understandable, abrupt, cheeky, rude and very unhelpful. I'm stuck with them for the foreseeable future oh and Im actually moving house so will have to,pay yet another admin fee! Total joke

If i could give them 0 stars i would changed my vehicle same vehicle just different number plate they charged me an extra £154 just for doing that my bank then returned the direct debit due to a fault in their system and instead of requesting it again they have now given me 10 days to pay and charged me another £25 absolutely disgusting company i am now looking into taking my insurance elsewhere and will never entertain this company again rip off.

Terrible customer service none informative trying to get a refund and cancel policey before start date is a joke . Horrible rubbish and will never use or recommend they are a bunch of cow boys and con artists .

My son got passed through 7 different people before getting cut off. I've just spent almost an hour of my time, that I will never get back, trying to get through to Customer Services. The 6th person I spoke to seemed to almost know what I was asking, only to find out he wasn't customer services either. BE CAREFUL ABOUT THE EXCESS FOR YOUNG DRIVERS I put in a quote for an Excess of £200 for my 17 year old son. Their site changed it to £150, great, but when you dig deeper, it says that young drivers will have to pay an additional excess. Why not just put it in the original quotation, instead of wasting my time? Suffice it to say, I have not insured with this company.

Absolutely dreadful company to deal with. When they eventually pick the phone up, you are then passed from pillar to post and then left holding on the phone for sometimes up to 20 minutes. Oh and then you get stung £50 to make a change on your policy. What a rip off for pressing a couple of buttons on a computer. Do not use this company, shop around!

ive been trying to get through for nearly 3 hours and just keep getting put on hold, ive even said i'll cancel if i dont get to talk to some one soon !!!! i have got a life, i have kids that need seeing to among other things and i think this is totally DISGRACEFUL!!!!! on hold for an hour at a time WHO DOES THAT !!!! my phone bill s going to be through the roof, are they on commission or something ??!!!

I wish i could put a 0 too i paid my deposit and 4 weeks later my 1st monthly payment came out. Only to get a letter to say they had cancelled my policy as i didnt show my driving licence which i told them that i had recently got married and had to send my licence away to be updated. I offered to give my licence number to check on me but that was declined. I also got a bill for £37 to pay which i am not going to pay i think i had well over paid for 4 weeks of insurance . This company is a total disgrace.

If I could put 0 * for this company I would! Even if you are desperate, do not insure with this company! Horrific customer service if you manage to get through without being cut off! Awful, don't know how they are still going!

I purchased a policy with this company so that i can ride a 125 motor bike for myself and my son he could then us it when needed in July this year, everything was fine at the start no issues but then we had an accident , when reporting the accident i stated time date etc and i then i verified the V5 form over the phone which had my sons name on it , i stated this is a mistake it should be mine i have made an error, as i am the owner of the vehicle, and i paid for the bike anyway i sent the details of purchase from my bank account to show proof, anyway on the V5 form it clearly states that this does not mean that the keeper is the owner so i am in the right, anyway. today i had a letter stating the policy is cancelled, today's date is the 5 Nov , letter indicates 12 OCT, the message on the letter your car insurance is cancelled, quote' Are you (or will you be) the registered owner of the car ?yes Are you (or will you be the registered keeper of the car ? yes (the issue here is my policy is for a motor bike and the wording on my policy is totally different to their quote ( are you the owner of the vehicle yes ) which i proved i am by account withdrawal and are you the registered keeper of the vehicle (yes) so one over sight on my part the V5 form had my sons name on it, but i was first to indicate this on the phone and my insurance is now void, i am genuinely sorry for one mistake but to openly omit i made one error and for them to cancel the insurance and it also took them 2 months to come to the conclusion and the worst thing is the text in the letter they will not amend it. I would strongly avoid this insurance company i made a mistake but the two drivers my self and my son are on the policy, i look at this in one way i own the vehicle and i assumed the name on the v5 form was myself. when speaking to the company they are not very helpful, here every thing else on my policy is correct just my sons name is on the V5 form

I am still waiting after many weeks to hear back from this company about my refund, i have been passed from pillar to post, lied to and transferred to other members of staff pretending to be a Manager, I have also spoken to Ruth Kidd who said she would contact me and escalate this matter and still not heard anything. If i could give one bit of advise... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
