“I only purchased a policy with this Go Skippy as my current provider, AXA, would not insure the high risk vehicle I had bought. Everything was fine until the next day, after paying, I had an email to state that my policy price had increased by £71 (which included their £50 admin fee for making changes) as they found a discrepancy on the details I provided in respect to my drivers licence. I called and explained that the details were not actually provided by me hence the admin fee should not apply to me as it was an error on their side based on how data/information is transferred from MoneySupermarket.com I called twice and no one seemed to understand that they were penalising me for a change which they instigated which also was as a result of a system issue on their end. I then had to make a complaint and the person who then reviewed it did agree that it was in fact their error and I should not have been subject to the £50 admin. Horrendous! It was just a lengthy and unpleasant experience. Also they threatened to cancel my policy if I didn't pay! and had I not complained... I would have been a victim to their incompetency. If i had a choice I would not be insuring my car with them and would not recommend anyone to either!”

“TRMY49PC02 advised incorrect over the phone, then was blamed that it is my fault (i did what i was advised), then the Customer service told me that there was no record of talking with them. Then I asked to checked the record of the call (i mentioned exact time and date), i was told waiting time 48 hours to get back to me, now 120 hours later still no reply...
I am still paying insurance with Go Skippy for my old car and my new car with different policies (as i was advised), instead of transferring the old to the new one, so i will not lose my NCB. Also Customer service told me, that i have to cancel the new one with fee of 75 Pounds, so i can change cars on my old policy.... Unbelievable...”
“I recently got insurance with go skippy, the price seemed good but that's the only good thing I can say about this company... when i got my insurance out I accidently put the wrong month in which my licence was obtained, after submitting driving licence summaries which I had to send multiple times because they could not validate them, they canceled my insurance, now I have to pay triple the amount for something which was simply a typo error. I know I am responsible for what is written but I guess I should of double checked every single bit of information submitted. One very unhappy customer...”
“If it was possible to rate with 0 I would quite possibly the worst insurance company going took my deposit of 154pounds 27 pence then the next month's payment of 82 17 pence ten days later!! Then the following day cancelled my policy so to recap 12 days insurance for 236 pounds which is not refundable and have now been charged with a cancellation charge because after three phone calls they didn't seem to get the message that I wasn't going to ring my former insurance company to get my no claims that THEY should call them and get them for themselves the staff are among the most obnoxious I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with honestly don't waste your time if want headaches and paying for a service you won't receive then these guys are top drawer if actually want an insurance policy that last longer than two weeks I suggest a more reputable company”

“My insurance got cancelled in the middle of a month. Reason why it was cancelled was apparently because of outstanding documents. They sent me multiple emails with list of documents i need to provide them with. I sent them the documents they were asking for, but still, my insurance got cancelled. So i gave GoSkippy a call, they told me that they need the no claims bonus document that they never asked me for, even in emails. I got told that i cannot renew my insurance, i need to make a new one, but in order to make one i need a no claims bonus document. So i said i'll find it and they offered me to give me a call later to sort everything out. I said that it's pretty urgent because i had to get to airport to pick up someone, and i got told that they'll put it in description-that it's urgent. So i didnt receive a call later so i gave GoSkippy a call the next day. The next day I explained to them that i don't have the no claims policy document, so what should i do? I got told that i must call my old insurer and ask for the document. So i gave them a call and because i didnt have that insurance for 4 years, i couldnt get the no claims bonus document. So i gave GoSkippy another call and i spoke to another guy from GoSkippy. I got told that now i have to pay a debt that has been put on my account 5 minutes before i got connected to someone.(It was 14:19, when i asked what time was the debt added, the person said 14:14)
What i was expecting from them was to either refund me or find a way to make a new policy(but as i didn't have the document i'm guessing it's impossible).
Now i need to pay them the cancellation fee, THAT THEY MADE. THEY CANCELLED MY POLICY, not me, now i don't understand what should i do.”
