Usless iv had many insurer's and go Skippy were the most useless by far I had to make a claim when I was forced off the road In my tipper truck and I payed extra for the like for like replacement vehicle and when it came down to it the tryed to tell me iwas only entitled. To a 1 liter 3 for hatch back when I need a 3.5ton tipper truck then the next person I spoke to said it was like for like and that they could only send me a little. Van that was no good what so ever and all they said its nothing to do with them it a 3rd party basically laughing down the phone when I said I might lose My house house as its my work and my only source. Of income be warned they are usless and are not to be trusted..please save your self the hassle and go with some else gp Skippy sold me lies. And that it ....”
“Very poor service. Their different departments do not liaise or pass information to each other. I claimed refund for my car insurance premium as I usually pay it annually. I sold the car after 5 months and claimed the refund thinking that this will be a very standard procedure. 4 months later I found the refund did not take place. I contacted them through their costumer service, initially denied receiving cancellation letter and asked me to send them another one which I did at the time. Then they asked to send them proof of sale. A document which you will not keep. I contacted DVLA and obtained the proof of ownership which cost me money and time and sent them the document. Two months now since they had the document (2 x by post and 2 by emails). The refuse to refund me the money I paid from May till December. Please avoid this service totally”
“I phoned up to change my car details after being put on hold for over an hour on phone.they tried to put an additional £400 on my premium for which I at same time ran through quotes on my computer for which I was getting quotes at an average of £300 so I cancelled then they tell me am getting billed for £327 for my years premium,don't think so avoid at all cost”

“You do not have to read this and would probably save precious time if you did not but please Do not use Go Skippy as I did I would have been happy to pay a higher premium if I knew what a nightmare I was walking into . Terrible customer service ,incompetent and a complete scam . After being hit by another vehicle I reported it to Go Skippy and the Police after getting treated as if I was lying and then told the damages could not have happened and being questioned about my details of the other driver as I was given false details and the other driver did not even bother to get out of their vehicle I then decided as it was a old car and was going to scrap it or sell it I decided to close the claim in December .
When I bought a new car beginning of February I tried to cancel my policy but was told I could not as there was a existing claim I told Go Skippy that it was complete nonsense as when I contacted Elden Insurance and they had informed Go Skippy the claim has been closed in December .
After 5 Phone calls to Go Skippy at a big cost and many hours on hold this is finally been confirmed but because it has taken weeks for Go Skippy to confirm this they are conveniently trying to charge me an additional £80 plus the cancellation fee of £100 for a car I have not had for nearly a month now .”

“Avoid this insurance like the plague. This insurance is a Con. Payed a deposit of 160.00 then 10 months direct debit of 70.00. Never recieved policy or any other confirmation. Then wrote saying policy was cancelled on the 5th Feb this year but still they tried to take payment on the 9th. Phoned to sort it said policy was cancelled but would I like to take another policy out to re charge me all over again. I said no thanks what's happened to my old policy when I've payed the deposit of the 160.00. They take your money never send documents then cancel it. Lucky I payed on a barclays card which will be fighting my case for me.”
“Disgrace is an understatement, current customer and sooo unhappy, couldnt even change vehicle because customer service basically doesnt excist im sat with new vehicle and no insurance , so because of this disgraefull company gonna have to go with a new insurer just to be on the road”
“Wouldn't recommend GoSkippy to anyone!! Sent them my car documents from my previous insurer just before christmas only to receive an email to say they hadn't received anything and that my policy would be cancelled. So I sent the documents again and paid for a first class stamp and proof of postage only to receive another email saying that they hadn't received them. I emailed them back and asked if they wanted me to send proof of postage as there seemed to be a delay in the post. They did not reply to my email - instead they sent me a text saying that my policy had been cancelled. I was at work which left me stranded in a car park as it is illegal to drive without insurance. I rang them up - waited 20 minutes whilst listening to their annoying GoSkippy hold song only to be told that there was nothing they could do for me until I could take pictures of my documents to send through as an email... completely ignoring the fact I was now stranded in a car park. I managed to get home and send my documents in an email and I have had no phone call, email or text to let me know what is going on. All I am saying is their customer service is TERRIBLE! can't wait for this policy to end so I never have to speak to these useless people again! DONT DO IT!!!!”
