Customer relations are not this companies forte. Rude, condescending are just a couple of traits. The policy is absolutely rubbish. I will not be renewing! Do not take a policy out with these imbeciles.

Awful exsperience, seems like a good company until they rip you of and leave you with a £3000 bill for a hire car because they give you a number for a third party and don't explain that you would have to pay the inflated costs, your insurance should pay for the hire car when you have an accident not rip you of, and the icing on the cake is they did this to a 50 year old, disabled woman with memory problems, absolutely disgusting to put a woman in this condition in this situation with 14 days to find this sort of money!!!! Don't trust this company they will rip you of any chance they get!!!!

What a cowboy company I called them to discuss that I was looking to go with them and then the man I spoke did t give me a name, was really rude and wasn’t interested in even getting my quote up to discuss it. There rude and no customer service help what so ever I am glad I am now not going with them as they seem like rude people who can’t be asked with. Stay away is my advice. And would not rate there customer service either as there was none.

Absolute joke!! Was with them 2 years and wanted to change my insurance over to another vehicle they asked if it had any modifications, I didn't know what that ment so asked them what that ment. They said does it have tinted windows and alloys, I said yes because it does. I didn't realise they ment have they been added since leaving the factory. When I realised what they ment I said no it's had no modifications, they then wanted proof by a photo, which I then sent for them to say we can't insure that vehicle because it has tinted windows. Yes the back windows are darker just like all new vehicles now but thats how it left the factory, IT HAS NOT BEEN MODIFIED!! I had to cancel my policy and go else where because they wouldn't insure my new vehicle. The garage I bought it from even spoke to them on the phone and they were not interested, they couldn't believe what they were hearing. He said to them ' so any vehicle that has darker glass in the back that left the factory like that you will not insure' for there answer to be no. Stay well clear!!

Changed address, tried to charge me £35, I said I'm not paying that so the manager waived the cost! Then tried to renew with the new address and the premium doubled, said no thanks went on meercats and premium halved again with different company. Never again Mr skippy, rip offs.

Great price car insurance but if you need them to help you, you find out why it's cheap. Rude staff, on hold for ages if you need anything, no help with claims....just avoid at all costs, if something is too good to be true theres a reason!

Locked Portal for 6 months and no one at Go Skippy could unlock it or offer to find out why it was locked. As a result i had to call to make changes. Customer Services are arrogant and rude - would not recommend this company ever.

So I've been with GoSkippy for a year now, and my policy comes to an end today. So far so good, right? No. I received a text message from them on 27th May 2019 saying that my car insurance was up for renewal. Thought ah, well I'm going in to multi-car insurance so I'll call up and cancel my policy. Yeah, that was a no. Even though they had sent me a text outlining my policy was up for renewal you can only cancel within a 21 day period. Seems like that renewal text was a waste of time really. Well, the lady I spoke to during this call was actually really helpful, she said she'd make a note on the account and once it was within the 21 day period they would then cancel the policy. Excellent! Or so I thought... Fast forward to Monday (24/06/19) 3 days before my policy is due to come to an end. I get a text from GoSkippy letting me know that they have renewed my policy for another 12 months! Now this was a bit of a shock, because I thought this had all been taken care of... the worst part is I never received any sort of revised quote, so I had no idea how much this new policy was going to cost! Anyways, I give them a call, get through to this polite bloke, we have a chat and all is good. He say's he can see the note on my account, and informs me that I was actually supposed to call back to cancel this policy, but it's fine we'll take care of it right away. The call ends, and that's it right? No. Tuesday (25/06/2019) I get through a set of emails from GoSkippy informing me that I could now view my new policy on my portal. Now bearing in mind I still haven't seen any costs involved here, so I'm thinking what the chicken nugget is going on. So I do what any man would do in this situation, I asked the Mrs to call on my behalf... well she was busy, so I had to give them another call. To my surprise, the policy hadn't even been cancelled! The dude I spoke to from the day before didn't do as he said on the phone. Outraged I let loose with a very British sigh (which I then apologised for, because it wasn't her fault). We spoke for a couple minutes and the policy was finally cancelled! Or was it? ANOTHER TEXT?! But wait, it's not GoSkippy... It's Creation, a finance company working on GoSkippys behalf setting up a direct debit. Wait, what? A direct debit? For what... a cancelled policy? Time to pick up the phone, by this time I was a frequent caller, so I got to wait in the prestigious One Lounge as I listened to the automated women read out all of these terms and conditions before my call would finally be answered. Ring ring "Hello you're through to Bella at GoSkippy, how can I help you?" Bella, Bella, Bella... this can't carry on anymore. This is my third call this week about the cancellation of my GoSkippy insurance policy. It seems every time I call you guys take it as a green light to progress my policy further. We need to get to the bottom of this. "Well I can see here that your policy has been cancelled" She replied Well Bella, if that's the case is there any need for the direct debit you've just set up with creation? I think not. Now she's flustered, not knowing where this is going! I request ever so politely that she then send me a confirmation email of the cancellation of my policy, and contact Creation right away and have this direct debit rectified otherwise I'd do the unthinkable. That's right, I'd head over to reviews.co.uk and leave a bad review to knock down their excellent "69%" recommended rating! (TIL 69% is excellent... reaching a bit there). Well, I got the confirmation email of the cancellation through which was literally an email from Bella saying I confirm that the policy has been cancelled. Wow, professional. I'm now having to converse with a third party company to make sure that the direct debit is actually cancelled! Waste of time. So here I am, giving you insight into what this company is actually like. Thank god I didn't have to make a claim!

They auto renewed my insurance when I didn’t instruct them to, I managed to get it cancelled after having a bit of a row with them, trying to tell me they were going to charge me a cancellation fee. Also said I couldn’t have my no claims bonus paperwork sent to me unless I sent them my new insurance details!! I told them this was none of their business who the new company was. Got it sorted in the end after speaking to a manager, terrible customer services was kept on hold for 25 minutes. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

This company has just took half of my wife's deposit after they cancelled insurance why don't they ask if you have a ccj before they take your money or do a credit check before they offer you insurance and then tell you its up to 28 days before you get half of your deposit back thanks !

Think carefully before you use this company. They took deposit from me 3 days later I get email to say they've cancelled my policy. Was told I would be refunded £116.17 to be given just £66 back they took over £80 as there fees. Complete joke this company and very rude on the phone.
