Only gave a 1 star as this is the only way to write my review.... customer services is awful, not able to answer any of my questions, an if you are a existing Customer you get rubbish prices! Defo do not do what is advertised on there website, Avoid as I know I will be!

Service extremely poor. My bike was stolen i called go skippy customers service they said i have to claim in claim section.i did report in claim section they said it was only third party cover not fire or theft cover .after one weeks goskippy send latter that my insurance was cancelled and i have to pay £150. I was shocked I called customer service i explain them why and explain me why .it was disgusting customer service ever in my life also i have to pay £150 no reason. Today is final day to pay this money otherwise they will give debt collections.such a shame . Dont go any one with go skippy They are just broker .im still waiting for reasons why im paying £150 .

I called to add my partner to my policy the agent I spoke to had an attitude and wouldn't activate my portal to make changes on there to reduce admin fee. And previously when I changed my car mid term I was told that I can't do it a day before to take effect the next day as underwriting may cancel my policy as I was not the registered keeper at the time of the call even though I would be the registered keeper when the change would take effect so then had to make another call the following day to change the vehicle and was on hold for 1 and a half hours. Appalling customer service definitely won't be renewing

after three consecutive years with the company when making the surprise renovation 300% higher than the amount paid for the last year, changing company does not show respect or consideration by customers.

cancellation fees are excessive, they take a loan out on your behalf and basicly make you pay interest, its like wonga all over again with 1000% rate. disgusting surely this cant be legal?? i didnt allow them to take a loan out in my name for car insurance.

Please don`t fall into the trap cheapest is the best quote, lot`s of fee`s. * Annoyingly rang six times in a row for renewal quote. *Charged an admin fee to take out renewal quote over the phone of £20 plus another £40 extra in comparison to the online quote. *The online quote was adjusted to the phone quote after the conversation ended. *Rude,pushy customer service advisor and couldn`t understand what she was saying. *Minor mistake on my document resulted in an extra (made up figure) of £91.89 plus a £50 admin fee. *Waited 20mins for an advisor to answer, when they did they didn`t want to resolve any problems just take my money. Why did I go with them? I had a trouble free year with them the first time and they were still the best quote online. Would I use them again? No I wouldn`t. Every time you ring them the quotes go up and they charge £20 admin fee if you take out a phone quote. If you cancel your policy they charge so much fees that you might aswell just let the policy run. Also these are not a 24hr operation and when you call takes 20 mins for an answer. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I insurance my car with go skippy on the 8th April all was OK till I had a email about sending my no clames evidence which I have none due to first time having a car. So I phone them up on the 12th April to be told the lady who I speak to mess up there put my dad no clames onto my name so there said they will be cancel the insurance due to not be able to insurance me because of having no claim. I had to spent more money on another insurance company to be told by go skippy that I had to pay a cancellation which I don't cancel the policy there do. I am still waiting for a manager to phone me to get a full refund. So make sure you don't go with go skippy there are just a rip of company.

THIS IS THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS TO START OFF THEY USE CREATION AS YOUR CREDIT PROVIDER SO IF YOU HAVE TO CANCEL FOR WHAT EVER REASON THEY CHARGE YOU THE FULL OUTSTANDING BALANCE YOU OWE FOR THE ENTIRE POLICY UNLIKE OTHER INSURANCE COMPANY'S THAT CHARGE YOU A CANCELLATION FEE AND FOR THE TIME YOU ARE ON COVER WHICH IS FINE BUT NOT GO SKIPPY YOU END UP PAYING MORE THAN THE FULL PREMIUM BY THE TIME THEY ADD THE CANCELLATION FEE £75 + £50 DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FEE + FULL PREMIUM + £90 FOR SOME THING ELSE THEN THEY MINUS WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY PAYED OFF I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED A SET UP LIKE IT THEY TOLD ME THE CHARGES ARE WHAT CREATION ASK FOR BUT I RANG CREATION AND THEY SAID I DONT OWE THEM ANYTHING AND THEY DO NOT CHARGE DIRECT DEBIT SETUP FEES SO I RANG GO SKIPPY BACK UP AND THEY CHANGED IT TO THEY CHARGE THE FEE THIS COMPANY ARE ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS I RECEIVED A BILL FOR £280 NEAR TO THE END OF MY POLICY AS I WAS LOOKING TO CANCEL AS I NEEDED TO CHANGE TO A VAN POLICY IT WOULD HAVE BEEN CHEAPER TO KEEP THE INSURANCE ON THE CAR WHAT I NO LONGER OWNED THAN TO CANCEL I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THIS INSURANCE COMPANY I UNDERSTAND THEY ARE SOMETIMES THE CHEAPEST BUT ITS WORTH PAYING A BIT EXTRA TO AVOID ALL THE HIDDEN CHARGES

Had insurance with go skippy for over 3 years they had over £3k out of me and I never made a claim.... I did have a crash but delt with it privately as not to mess go skippy about... I cancelled my insurance due to unexpected health (cancer) and ever since they have harassed for £143 cancellation fee... bailiffs at my parents door(I dont live there anymore) I get £309 a month on universal credit and have a family , impossible for me to pay! Leave us alone!

absolutely terrible service, i had a fiat punto which has been insured by go skippy for the past 2 years and ive had a few problems with them, most recent i upgraded my car to a golf and i called them to switch my insurance over, i spoke to a guy over there who quoted me £140 a month i asked them to hold it until the next day, called back up and then they decided to quote me over £160 a month which i was not happy about i then spoke to a manager who agreed to do it for the original price of 140 that i was quoted. however i then get a email saying the underwriters have came back and its going to the £200 a month as you can imagine i am not happy in the slightest i would advise everyone to stay well clear of this company the way they speak to you on the phone, lie to you, attitude of the staff i only give it a 1 star because there s no option for 0

I have had my insurance with you for a year and wanted to renew as I thought your renewal price was excellent so I phoned up to renew and at the same time change my address as I had just moved home. when I got a new renewal price it was £40 more a month than what you had quoted for renewal. They said it was because I moved however I only moved a few doors down on the same street. I have 15 years no claims and was an existing customer of yours. I wasn't even offered to reduce the price in anyway even when I said I could get it cheaper elsewhere. very unhappy with your customer care.

Avoid, avoid, avoid! This insurance company are the worst I have come across in 12 years. They will take your money and leave you high & dry. Do not use if you have a heart condition, are pregnant and/or have children- they will send your blood pressure through the roof. I was completely scammed.

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Incompetent when setting up the policy (took a week) and trying to phone was fine if you have a spear 30 minutes to wait on hold. When I sent insurance details neglected to add 3 points (which had expired a year ago) as the offence was over 4 years ago and when corrected they wanted to add £900 (yes, £900) cost to the policy ! Completely dishonest company who have no regard for customers. Asked to speak to a manager to find out why such an increase for an offence that had expired 12 months ago and basically they try and hold you to ransom. NEVER EVER use this company.

If there was an option to give no starts I would. Easy set up, information was all provided well etc and then 9 days after the policy started they told me I can’t pay monthly over 12 months but they would do it over 4 for me ( young driver so we were talking thousands for a years insurance). After that conversation they then cancelled my insurance as i ‘ gave false information’ even though they eventually realised i didn’t and infact they were in the wrong. And then finally i cancelled the insurance and only after being insured 12 days I was told I could get a refund of £4... to which I’m still waiting for to this day. To Anyone thinking about taking out insurance with this company. Word of advise? Just don’t. And finally I’m on day 8 of waiting for a call back from a manager to try sort all this out. Company is a joke. Ombudsman here I come ha
