“Tried using the portal to change car details but it wasn't working. Trie to get hold of someone to help but was put on hold for about 22 minutes then got cut off. Tried again and was put on hold again for another 20 minutes then when I finally spoke to someone she told me they were busy and someone will call me back. I didn't get a call back for 3and a half hours but then I was at a school appointment. I am changing companies as soon as my policy finishes.”
“Don't use goskippy car insurance charged us 90 pound deposit 100 pound excess. We had a BMW for social and domestic use. It had some problems with the exhaust and radiator so we had to get rid of it. We cancelled the insurance after a month and we asked for a refund and they said no. They charged us 64 pound cancellation fee plus an admin charge,when I asked to speak to the manager he was extremely rude to me and put the phone down. I would advise not to use go Skippy.”
“so my partner took out car insurance with this company 3 days ago we paid the deposit of £70 and agreed on the monthly payments to then get a email saying he had to send a copy of his driving licence after we paid the money we then get a phone call from them saying that the insurance had gone up to £185 pound because he didn't pass the credit check this has gone from £65 pound a month and that he had to have his insurance over 5 months and not 12 months as originally stated so because we cant afford to pay £182 per month we have now had to cancel our policy after much shouting an screaming over the phone we have now manage to get 60pound back which can take up to 28days we now have no insurance and have to look for other insurance which we are now going to have to pay again so we are also out of pocket THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE CON MERCHANTS AVOID AVOID THEY ARE ROBDOGS surely a credit credit check should be done before they take your money rubbish customer service WE WILL BE GETTING INTOUCH WITH WATCHDOG AS THIS COMPANY NEEDS EXPOSING RIP OFF SPRINGS TO MIND !!!!!!”

In fact they have no customer service , Cancelled my policy at the end of premium when this was up for renewal as they nearly tripled it so went to another company then call me saying i owe them money firstly saying it was for cancelling the policy but when i said no and dug deeper it was for when i moved address , Nobody knows what they are doing ! When i moved address they said they would amend the DD but NEVER DID and then left me with a bill!!!!

“Disgusting company morals, take advantage of hidden cancellation fees. Refuse to deal with a specific cases, would rather a £550 ombudsmen investigation than to waver hidden cancelation fees.
In total for 30 days car insurance I paid over £225, what a joke this company is.
Simple do NOT use and I would also suggest that you check other companies that take advantage of customers cancelation fees.
I mean its clear to see here on this review site that they are an awful company to deal with 22% thats 1605 give the company 1 star which is the lowest score possible .
Utterly disgusted and will be making sure to as many people as I can to stay well away from this company, even as far to do a youtube video, writing a blog and leaving this review on as many sites as I can.

“After moving house I rang to update my details and was told it would be a £50 administration fee and to try the website. I tried the website and would you believe it it crashed with a message to ring customer service!! After 35mins of being passed from pillow to post I was told my premium would be going up and I would have to pay the £50 fee as there was nothing the call handler could do!! I understand the postcode lottery aspect of insurance but I’ve moves from one end of the street to the other, from parking my car on the road to parking my car on a drive with gates and CCTV it’s gone up by almost £100 plus the administration fee!!!”
“they are a dodgy south African company registered in Gibraltar. They cancelled my daughters' policy & charged 5 months after being insured for less than a month. called them & they refused to solve their admin problem & refund the difference.”

“2 yr ago my insurance was£39 a month it's now £240 a guy tapped my car no damage to either car it's still ongoing with court I lost my 6 yr no claims and gone up £200 a month I've had no calls from any soliter and wen I phone go skippy I get a person from India who doesn't speak good English and she always seems to add money on they wanted £700 to change from one car to another and I've never spoke to anyone who cares I mean gives a dam so thanks go skippy for making money of a customer who been with you 6 yr nearly”

“Useless company, I called up twice to set up a direct debit and each time they failed to set it up. This meant I was charged £25 two months in a row for falling into arrears through a problem on their end. Would not recommend using this company. If you do, keep a close eye on your account.”

I was blamed for something I didn't do. Somebody opened their car door into the side of my car and I was blamed for it by my own insurance before they even saw the photos of the accident which clearly showed how the other car was in wrong. However, this is not even the point why I am disgusted by the service. When I made a claim I was sent back and forth between third party companies to decide if my car was to be repaired or written off. Nobody knew what to do. Insurance told me to call Vizion (repair company). Vizion told me it was up to the insurance. Insurance told me I had to give my car to another company, CoPart, to assess the damage to give me a settlement for the write off. However, they couldn't tell me if it was a write off even if Vizion had told them it was a write off. Back and forth between the three for weeks. One day I spent 5 hours on the phone trying to understand what to do. Absolutely and utterly disgusted by the service.”
“AVOID AT ALL COSTS.. took out insurance with these con artists. Sent all documents. THEY decided to cancel my insurance BEFORE I got to make my first months payment (they took deposit) NOW they are demanding I owe them over £130 which is over 3 times what my monthly payments are. Only had insurance with them for few weeks..... TOTAL RIP OFF...”
