“They have terrible customer service, they repeatedly sent letters containing sensitive information to a former address, despite being told that I had moved, still waiting on policy details to be sent, after asking in several emails, weeks ago.”

“Actual quote is not what you pay as they put your insurance through a loan company if you’re paying monthly - you end up paying more! Something I’ve never done with any other insurance company.
I had to go with it though as I was at the car owners house and needed to drive away.
System didn’t accept payment initially and I had to call.. it took ages to get through and when I eventually spoke to someone, they were unhelpful and I couldn’t understand them - assuming call centre in India!
Not great service I have to say but I’m stuck with it for a year now I suppose!”

“We recently paid more than £1000 to put a new driver on a car policy. As this car was 11 years , we have updated it to 2 newer, safer models. We contacted go skippy to update one policy and take out an extra policy. We were told there would be no refund from the original policy , but we could have privelidge of paying a £50 admin charge.
We were told a manager would call us back within 48 hours . Half an hour later we instead got the same call centre employee with the same poor grasp of English, with unwillingness to assist us.
We wanted to give go skippy extra business by buying 2 policies , but instead they couldn't care less”

I should be being paid an administration fee by the company due to the amount of administration work I have had to do on their behalf .
Customer service is as described above and if you have missed it by any chance I will re-iterate that it is poor.
I would like to start up my own Insurance Company after the experience I have received from GoSkippy.
Price is average otherwise would not have opted to use however I will be moving once this policy has ended and will not be moving any other vehicles in my household to this company or recommending them to friends or family.
I would actually go as far as steering anyone that I hold dear away from this company ..... and go skipping elsewhere”
“All I say is stay away from this company, they don't commutate with you. I took the policy out thinking it was a great deal but there was no word about the hem wanting a copy of my driving license and other documents. But after a few days go Skippy cancelled my policy but did not say a word and I found out after I was pulled for driving with no insurance with my 5 children in the carwhich I was surprised as I thought I had it. In the end it cost me a further £1200 plus 6 points on licence with getting the car out of the pound, getting new insurance and a fine for no insurance. Not happy”

“don't waste your time with the company, didn't honour my no claims bonus, after 2 years they put my insurance up, you call them and you get sent to a foreign call centre where they haven't a clue what they are talking about.
Remember people they are a Broker not an insurance company so you have to pay there fees, do your self a favour and go straight to a official
Insurance company through a comparison site and you will save around £150 which is more or less there fees for simply forwarding on your details.”

My bike was stolen i called go skippy customers service they said i have to claim in claim section.i did report in claim section they said it was only third party cover not fire or theft cover .after one weeks goskippy send latter that my insurance was cancelled and i have to pay £150.
I was shocked I called customer service i explain them why and explain me why .it was disgusting customer service ever in my life also i have to pay £150 no reason.
Today is final day to pay this money otherwise they will give debt collections.such a shame .
