Having trouble cancelling it seems..and tet they still try to get money off me...do not go with these they based in Africa and unless you want to renew you cannot contact by phone

Have had my renewal from go skippy they want me£98 deposit and my insurance has gone up I have never heard of a deposit on renewal the answer they gave me was I had a default payment although I paid the 20.00 charge then it was the excuse it is 2 months up front as its over 10 months instead of a year im at a loss as to this company they say its in the terms and conditions of the company called creation who are infact my insurer's go skippy are the bookers

I was a repeat customer they had all my details for a car which I was currently using but insisted on a long protracted conversation and tried to get me to sign up for other insurance products during the sales process the girl did not listen to me I kept having to repeat myself. I have another car I will be insuring but not with go skippy.

You cant get through to a person quick enough so it costs you lots of money in phone calls and the people are not in this country its not good customer service

Ive tried calling custormer service and im bloody waiting on the fone for over an hour with some ridiculous song repeating its self mow ive got a head ake get more staff that's why its cheap company service is bad!!

I brought Go skippy car insurance and after a couple of weeks i was contacted and it turned out that there was a mistake with my no claims and I was under the wrong insurance. When trying to change this to the correct insurance with Go-skippy which i understood would now be higher, go skippy moved this price up much higher than the price on there website and explained that because I was now an existing customer it would cost more, but this was a considerable amount more. Unhappy with this I tried to cancel and they explained it would cost £80 and another £160 for the insurance, after I had already paid £70 sign up and the first months insurances £50. When I had explained there had been a mistake which I am sure was at there end they were not having it and demanded the money or it would go to court. After seeking legal help they dropped there case. They were more than happy to take my money, but as soon as it came to canceling they were less than helpful and very unclear about additional charges. I would not recommend them to anyone

Would not use again. They came back at cheapest price when I was renewing. So I paid upfront in full for the year. 2 months later I changed car. It was £200 more on top of the £552 I had already paid. Plus a £50 admin fee. Impossible to get through on the telephone. Agreed to pay the extra £250 over 3 months. Keep trying to ring them to make payment and can't get through. Kept on hold for a long time until I give up. They had me over a barrel really and could charge what they like for swapping cars. Is already paid for the year. Quite shocked it was £800 for insurance. That's more than I paid for my first years insurance when I passed my test 3 years ago. Not like I've got a sports car or anything. It's only a 1.6 C4. Will not be using again.

Very quick to bombard me with renewal text messages. But very unresponsive in general. Can they just have clear contact details for respective departments and answer calls on time. If not, offer customers a call-back service or up the number of agents during peak times. Keeping a customer on hold for over 10 minute is way beyond acceptable. Spent in total an hour and a half on three calls that amounted to nothing. On the one email address i could use, I've had no reply. I will not renew my insurance with Go Skippy, they should try to 'skip' to their customers needs. Appalling service.

This is the worst insurance company i dealt with, there were so many hidden costs and no flexability . I would not advise Go Skippy to my worst enemy !

Go skippy, I had a costly and aggravating time with in a short period,this was due to my documents.when I taken the policy out,I had explained that,"ive sent off for both copies,paper and photo card of my licence,,this could take up to 6 weeks.i was then told from a member of the team that this was not a issue.after many phone calls they told me they needed the documents from me after I lapsed the time scale.i asked if they would except photo copies from my employer as I drive,as a part of my job,NO was the answer.then they said my insurance was going to be cancelled on the Tuesday,so I needed to set up another policy with a different insurance.This cost me again,I have refused to pay there fees,as they didn't cancel the insurence on the Tuesday but a month later.

Even after supplying proof of ncb to the insurers the sent threatening emails requesting it and when I rang them to explain this I was on hold for over 30 mins on a premium rate number only for them to say it was an oversight leaving me with the feeling of been conned

My documents has been posted to me . Even though I cancelled my policy and paid the required fee which I was advised to before my documents will be sent to me. Almost six months now and am still waiting to receive my documents with my ten years no claim bonus. I think this is not good enough.

I'm very disappointed that my credit provider wants to charge me over £64 for a "missed" direct debit, after I had written to Go Skippy to cancel the policy in October. There seems to be a total lack of cohesion within the company.
