“Customer service and renewals team are VERY difficult to speak to. They don't listen to your queries and talk over you.
They're unhelpful and uncooperative.
Admin charges are ridiculously high. The most awful company I've ever had to deal with, and I used to have a Vodafone phone contract!!”
“I went for this policy cause it seemed like the best fit for me.Well......I moved while in the process of getting my docs (which took forever) and was charged a ridiculous amount,in 'admin fees' to change my address on the policy!!They never even sent my Skippy kangaroo,which just proves their reliability...Very disappointed with Go Skippy.”
“A fifty pound admin charge for just adding my brother for one day to drive mum a short distance to a hospital is a joke and basically theft.plus £11 to Insurance him! .. I will be changing insurance companies at the end of its year and never coming back. !! Day light robbery!”
“I went with go skippy 2 years ago and it started off brilliant. only had 2 more installments left to pay. I wanted to change vehicle so i rang them up to see if i could swap it over. They said no because i had only 2 payments left. So i looked for a new insurance company. I did find one so i wanted to cancel my policy with go skippy. They said i had to email the cancellations department which i did. I then rang back asking about why another installment was taken out even though i had payed all my premium off, the woman on the phone transfered me to finance department which was fine until they hung up. I was shocked and disgusted so i emailed the complaints department and threated them if i dont get this sorted i will contact the financial ombudsman. They soon moved quick i kept talking through email so i had it logged and got more money back than i expected and my no claims certificate and i had no cancellation charge. The stress is over now :) so keep emailing until someone replies.... Good luck.”
“INITIAL set up was fine with go skippy until my no claims bonus from admiral was taking its time then got letter stating I was being charged £50 extra admin fee a few months down the line august 8th 2015 bought a new car and have moved house around 3.20pm phoned go skippy and was charged £60.60 admin to change address and details of new car wich is smaller engine size but no difference to insurance the customer adviser sounded like was reading from a script and I tried several times to talk but was spoken over my questions about my policy don't seem to matter when cover ends in November I will not be renewing with a company who can not ask questions for the money they pay”
“Being a provision driver it is all new to me . I put in a wrong date on the form . It ended up with my insurance getting cancelled . Tried phoning after waiting on the phone for ages finally spoke to someone . Wasn't very helpfully .”
“All was good until I had a no fault claim..I have no been left to my own devices, even though I have written a complaint.
I'm disgusted that this can happen when you pay your insurance in good faith that when you need them, they'd be there.
