“SHOCKING!!!!! Advise to look for another insurer. Called multiple times in 3 days at different times of the day, was on hold for 19 minutes minimum before speaking to advisor, waited 32 minutes before call was answered one day!!!! Registration of car was taken but car marked as being a completely different vehicle on the policy, was stopped by the police and charged with having invalid insurance policy!!!!!! Even tho I gave correct registration and it was noted correctly, all the other vehicle details were wrong so policy invalid. Can only be thankful that was just a spot check by police and not actually involved in accident. Called to speak to advisor about this and LOW AND BEHOLD- ON HOLD FOR 27 MINUTES!!!!!! awful customer service. Will definitely not be renewing with this company and would warn all others to look about, stay well away and CHECK POLICY DETAILS!!!!”
“This insurance company dont even deserve 1 star. Been trying to get hold of them for 4 hours to swap insurance onto my new car . I'm getting through, being put on hold then being cut off. I've had to take the day off work ( lost a days wages) because I couldnt swap my insurance . I will never use this so called company again, absolute joke!;!!!”

“Absolutely this is a scam, do not go with theses guys from comparison sites!! They reel you in with a cheap quote and then once your committed they start with needing this and that and deny receiving it although they email back on receipt! They said I had falsified info even though an aciident was not my fault and not on my insurance or driving history and my quote had to be rescinded and a new one created. Went from £700 to £3000 when I told them that was ridiculous the sales woman put the phone down on me!! Trying to get through to these people is a joke as well, I suspect they are a 2 bob outfit in the back of a carpet shop somewhere as the same idiot picks the phone up 90% of the time.. Watch out and do be reeled in!”
“Stay clear of this company. We have tried on numerous occasions to cancel this policy within 2 days of taking out the policy however communication with this company is no existent.
DO NOT take out any format of insurance with them as their policies are cheap because your are only covered to drive 1 car no matter how old you are!!!!

“Avoid this company!!! They ask for documents and when provided on numerous occasions after hounding me for days they cancelled my policy. When confronting them they tried to lie there way out of it. Luckily enough after proving every point I had my insurance reinstated as this was an error on go skipped behalf not mine even though they try make it out to be yours. The managers can't even call back when promised and the customer service is shocking. They will be reported the fca. As my complaint has not been resolved by a manager as promised they money making scam!! Avoid where possible may be cheap but is worth the hassle and been cancelled and left with no insurance”

“This company are a shambles! I only wish I had read these reviews before starting an insurance policy with them. I dare not cancel it as they charge ridiculous 'fees' for everything. They don't even check if that's ok or confirm if you wish to continue! Their emails are sketchy although I have had frequent replies. The replies I get are sometimes vague or notice of more 'fees' that I will need to pay. They are not clear or particularly polite nor informative! I can honestly say I won't be renewing with them in the future!”

“I opted for these for the cheaper insurance, only wished I had read reviews first....the customer service is disgraceful! rang today to change cover to new vehicle which I will be acquiring in 2 days time....was on the phone for 30 mins before I got to speak to anyone then only to be told they would have to transfer me to someone else and yes you guessed it another 30mins until you are finally through to the right department. when I told the assistant what I required she told me to ring back on the day that I was purchasing my new vehicle...basically I told her that I had been on the phone for 1 hour in total and she WOULD assist me today....my cover was changed over for the day I requested but I incurred a £50 admin fee and would incur another when I change my number plates. My mother has just done the above with her insurance company and the fee was £20.....This company is cheap for a reason, cheap customer service, your custom is not valued in anyway and the fees they charge are a rip off....will me writing to the ombudsman for sure!! KEEP WELL AWAY!!”

Signed up to go skippy insurance - they emailed me the next day to cancel it but give me 7 days before they would cancel ... After holding for ages!
I spoke to someone who said basically they don't insure people who have had a provisional licence for more that 2 years as you're a risk ( surely this should have flagged up when applying I didn't fit the criteria ????? )
So I had paid £189 initial payment - they give me a week of insurance so they could charge me each day and not have to refund me any money !
I emailed cancellations and cancelled it with immediate effect myself and did actually receive a full refund but they were planning on charging me an admin fee etc. Company is poor and customer service is shocking.”
“This lot are a dead cert for an appearance on BBC TV's Watchdog!!!! Despite sending all requested documents and 2 DVLA check codes, via email TWICE, and speaking to their call centre staff based in Sth Africa (who confirmed that they can read said attachments on their system), I have now received my cancellation notice for...you guessed it...non receipt of my documents. Maybe based in 'Catbrain Lane' in Bristol has something to do with it. BEWARE!”

They were taking the direct debts out on wrong days then charging me, saying I called to change the date, the only time I ever called was to ask why it had been taken out on wrong date. When asked to listen to the calls I was to have supposed have made (and paid £10 for the privilege) it wasn't even my car or account! AVOID”
