“Don't even deserve one star. Absolutely the worse company I have ever dealt with the customer service is diabolical on hold for at least 23 minutes each phone call. Cancelled my policy (at my expense) as was not completely sure if the company is even legitimate and they couldn't even handle a simple add driver to policy call. Then they had the audacity to write to me chasing money already paid for the cancellation after it had been paid. When I tried to call to explain I had already paid on hold again for 38 minutes and three departments later told very rudely that it's already been paid what's my problem. Absolutely disgusting please not insure with them read the reviews they can't all be wrong. I wish I had before ever dealing with the company now out of pockets to the tune of nearly £175 it's a scam. Good luck”
“Never use this company, took full payment and then emailed 2 days later claiming my original quote was wrong and that they wanted an additional £158 otherwise my policy would be cancelled,when I refused and asked them to cancel it and refund me they say their cancellations dept don't have a phone line and it will get looked at when they get round to it but until then I will be charged for each day before its cancelled plus a cancellation fee. Called then many times and the least amount of time I was on hold was 34 minutes.
Everyone you speak to is rude and don't know what they are doing.
Do not use these people they are thieves. Worth paying more for a decent service.”

My policy was cancelled after only 3 weeks of setting it up because I gave them the wrong date I got my license and rather than phoning me to rectify the problem they just cancelled it! I was also hounded daily with text / emails from them wanting one thing or another and when you spoke to someone they just haven't a clue and on one occasion I rang them the person could barely hear what I was saying as there was a TV on in the back ground!
If I were you I'd stay away from this scam of a company, they will take your money, hound you constantly and then most likely cancel your policy, I feel as though I have been robbed and by reading other people's reviews it would seem I'm not the only one. STAY WELL AWAY IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSE.”

Once I received my renewal documents from them I called and insured with Privilege even though I still had over a week to go on the GoSkippy insurance as they had made so many errors and been so rude and difficult as well as the fact that they just don't seem to like answering the phone nor helping. Insuring with this company is just like throwing your money down the toilet and flushing, they are about as much use as a used sanitary towel.”

“go skippy are the worst insurers i've ever used. for three years my insurance has stayed the same even though my NCB is three years aswell (with go skippy). decided to use compare the market and got go skippy as the cheapest(£370 or so) when I went to pay by DD it was £470.80 with 10 monthly payments and 1 deposit payment, butwhen I went on to their website to pay it had gone up by £55!!!!

“After taking out the insurance go Skippy did not set up the direct debit correctly so for 4 months I had to ring up every month to pay, even though they assured me that every month it had been set up, the credit company creation then advised me go Skippy are unable to set up direct debits and to ring them regarding payment bank details or dates. Go Skippy are now cancelling the claim friday due to non payment even though an agreement between myself and creation had been made to pay on monday. Customer service phaaaa non existent and also they struggle to understand. When changing insurance yo another car they also quoted me 61 pounds more than online which was cheaper and when I rang back up it had jumped to 90 plus 75 afmin fee......daylight robbers, AVOID”

Insured my car with myself and wife on the policy thought everything was ok no problems 2 weeks later I get a phone call asking for some final details so that they could activate my policy so my wife has been driving my kids to nursery for two weeks with no insurance. Then the very rude person I had the privilege of speaking to just spoke over the top of me and was very cheeky to the point I had to give my wife the phone to speak to her because I was so angry now have had to email them for a cancellation and wait to hear about my deposit which was taking from my account straight away and there talking about a cancellation fee even though I was never insured absolute joke of a company.”

Sent over all the details needed eg. No claims licence codes but they could verify them and decided just to cancel the insurance without trying to get in touch with me would definitely not recommend this insurance to anyone!!!!”
