I bought car insurance with them recently and since day one I keep calling them up to fix the typo error , the number plate has a typo error so they fixed it telling me once the insurance starts the documents with the correct details will be uploaded on the portal for me to sign , it's been over 24 hours since my insurance has started but there are not correct documents for me to sign which means my insurance could be void as it's wrong number plate documents loaded in their system, I have called multiple times after waiting ages for someone to answer I was given same answer that it will be corrected however it's not , I think most of their staff members don't know the importance of insurance and how to look into it and sort it out but I'm going to check if I can withdraw as beginning like this is the indicator of how it can be in future

Terrible company - absolute rip off merchants. I cancelled my policy with them within the 14day cooling off period and well before the policy was due to start. No reply to numerous emails and I can't get my premium refunded. There have been many complaints to the Ombudsman about them (of which I am one!) and they really genuinely don't care! There is a reason why the are the cheapest!

Terrible service, avoid at all costs. They cancelled my policy out of the blue with no explanation or notice. I have tried to contact them repeatedly for the last few weeks but cannot get through on the phone and have not received a response over email. I now receive confirmation of the cancelled policy and discover that I am being charged a cancellation fee despite not requesting the cancelled policy. Very difficult to deal with and a distressing experience all round.

Absolutely shocking I am still on hold 45 minutes on to ask a question to add my daughter to my policy, when someone answered I could hardly hear myself think with all the noise in the background, I got cut off 3 times & could not get through on the right channel so I tried several others to be put back on hold, I have been with this company for years It’s time to change as they have no regard for the costomer @ all

I had an accident in March where someone went into me at no fault to myself, STILL waiting on this being resolved, 90mins (see picture) wait to get through to someone, I am still recieving medical treatment but cannot speak to anyone as they have outsourced this department to a company called AX, who are almost as bad. I was a customer without issue for four years, once there is a problem though they are nowhere to be seen

After finding goskipy through compare the market. I took out a car insurance policy. After about 2 weeks I started getting multiple letters washing asking for different information from proof of employment, job title, VC5, wage slips, copies of driving licence and more. It was. A real hassle. Without this I was told my policy would be cancelled in 7 days. I provided all information they asked for and even received confirmation my policy was all good. About 1 month later I have now received another letter saying my policy would be cancelled, with zero explanation!!! Plus they also want to charge me for the privilege, a cancellation fee!!! My situation has never changed from time of taking out the policy. I have no convictions, never been refused insurance before, 9+ years NCD and not moved or changed job in + 4 years. Why should I pay a cancellation fee, and why is my policy being cancelled both questions I have yet to receive and answer. I would not recommend them, they have been nothing but hassel and a cause of stress..

Do not go with this car insurance company when you finally get through they lie to you. They have hung up twice when I complained about an on going issue This company is a waste of time Avoid avoid avoid

Dear fellow consumers, I feel compelled to share my harrowing experience with GoSkippy Insurance. Buckle up, because this is a cautionary tale that will make your blood boil. 1. The Accident and the Runaround Back in February, I had an accident, and my car was deemed a write-off. Despite being fully comprehensive, GoSkippy refused to assist with repairs, claiming they'd cost more than the car itself. Fair enough, right? But here's the kicker: my car was off the road and unusable at the time of the incident. So, I inquired about canceling my policy. Their response? Pay the remaining balance of around £1.8k or keep paying for insurance on a wrecked car. Nice. 2. The Repairs Saga Desperate to get my car back on the road, I privately repaired it for about £1k. I tried calling GoSkippy to inform them, but they left me hanging on hold for 30 minutes. Frustrated, I gave up. This was late February/early March, mind you. 3. The Shocking Revelation Fast forward to mid-March. I've got a company car now, so I decide to cancel my GoSkippy policy. Online, it says a cancellation fee of £75 beyond the 14-day cooling-off period. I provide my registration details, and guess what? They'd canceled my policy without telling me! I'd been paying for insurance on a nonexistent car. 🤯 4. The Lucky Escape Thank the stars I wasn't pulled over during this time. Imagine the fine and points I'd have faced for driving an uninsured vehicle – all because of their negligence. Conclusion: Avoid GoSkippy Like the Plague Their customer service? Abysmal. Their communication? Nonexistent. If you're even remotely considering GoSkippy, run in the opposite direction. Save yourself the headache, the wasted hours, and the money. And to anyone from GoSkippy reading this: refund my hard-earned cash pronto! Stay vigilant, fellow consumers. Don't let GoSkippy take you for a ride – unless you enjoy paying for phantom insurance. 😡 Stay safe out there, and may your insurance woes be minimal! 🚗

I bought a new car and sold my old car, apply to go skippy insurance for my new car but they told me by phone it’s not approve and sent me a letter not approved and they will cancel my old car insurance at it’s been sold. I end up looking for new insurance and now they are saying they did not cancel my old car insurance and still charging me and after I complaint that’s when they cancelled but it incur a lot of charges now and threatening to file a debt collectors. Please go somewhere you could get good insurance. And disrespectful staff answering the phone.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! GoSkippy is honestly the worst car insurance company that I have EVER dealt with. They take unauthorised payments out of your bank account without you even knowing and when you contact them about it to question why they've done it you get nothing but sass and disrespect from their staff.

My recent experience with GoSkippy has been nothing short of infuriating. The representatives I have spoken to were incredibly rude and unhelpful, showing no interest in resolving my issue. Their condescending attitude and blatant lack of professionalism have made an already stressful situation even worse. It is disgraceful to be treated in such a manner, and I expect an apology and prompt action to address my concerns.

This company is a scam. Don’t do it. They charged me a cancellation fee when I cancelled my policy on 4th day after buying it. They don’t care about the 14 day cooling off period

The customer service at GoSkippy is an absolute disgrace. After spending hours on hold and being transferred from one department to another, I am no closer to resolving my claim. No one seems to take responsibility or show any urgency in addressing my concerns. This is a complete waste of time and utterly disrespectful. I insist on speaking with a competent manager who can resolve this matter immediately, or I will escalate this issue further.

Switched over from GoSkippy or as I like to call them, "GoScammy", paid the fees etc and they had the audacity to continue to take money out of my bank account and then sent debt collectors after me for fees I had ALREADY paid. This is an absolutely disgusting insurance company and I would highly recommend anyone to NOT go with them for their insurance. They are the literal scum of the Earth.

I am trying to check something on the policy before I buy, and I keep getting nowhere.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have tried your number and again, keep going around in circles. (tried 5 times) If this is what trying to get insurance is like, I am somewhat nervous about ever having to make a claim.
