“Worst service. If your insurance hasn't expired yet, please go somewhere else because they'll put you start date on the date you buy the insurance.
They don't allow you to start your insurance when your current insurance expires and it's very expensive being double covered.
I bought my insurance to start 2 weeks when my current insurance expires, they refused to accept that and started my policy on the day I bought the police.
The only way to change the date is to cancel the Insurance with heavy charges making me have no choice but to have 2 insurance.
Their excess is way less during quote and increases after you take the insurance.
Whatever goskippy is showing online is not their actual price. They are very corrupted.
Save yourself the hassle and peace of mind and go somewhere

“Ignore the good renewal price... After service isn't worth the savings! Terrible customer service, high amendment charges, no refund if cancel policy with 6 months left on it and can't change policy from higher group vehicle to lower group vehicle as apparently it's too high risk to do this? Advisor hung up on me after long wait to get through when I questioned this and complaints department have not bothered to reply. Avoid at all costs.”

“Overall good but never use there portal , changes on portal should be free like other insurance companies except some which is understandable , but if you made any small change you have to pay them minimum 35£ for administration fee which look like some jok, what's the portal mean I didn't understand? i think they appoint the computer on very high salaries and clients have to pay for computer administration charges. Hahaha”

“I have had a strong of issues with this insurance provider. The charges for changes/cancellation of policy are extortion. I changed my vehicle mid policy and was charged £80 for the privilege despite taking out my new policy with them. I decided to cancel the new policy when I found out. Unfortunately 4 phone calls later I have been passed around and no sign of the £1200 owed to me. My advise, don't touch them!”

“This insurance company is utterly appalling. Their service is atrocious. I had a policy with them. when I sold my old car and bought a new one, they gouged me with a £349.29 fee for amendments and so-called administration charges (£299.29 for the amendment and £50 for administration, which is absurd).
Despite being a loyal customer for two years with no accidents, they hiked my renewal cost to a staggering £107 per month from £57. They did not clarify the reason for this dramatic raise, only stating that 'the policy of the company has changed,' which is a ridiculous excuse for such a significant increase. They were completely unresponsive to my complaints.
I finally found a new insurer and requested a no-claims bonus document listing all drivers on the policy. We were two drivers on the policy, and the second driver now needs a no-claims bonus for his new insurance. Despite my clear request and explanation of the situation, they have been utterly uncooperative, refusing to provide this crucial document, causing further issues. Dealing with this company has been a complete nightmare. They seem to have cloth ears, completely ignoring our needs. Avoid them at all costs!”

“I warn you that the GoSkippy insurance company, as well as Somerset Bridge Limited, are fraudsters and extort money from injured people, steal money from the car, and then present you their contract terms and conditions and cancel your policy, refusing to pay the amount due!!! I am determined to go to the Court that will deliver Justice and you will bear the consequences. I will not rest until you answer for your dishonest actions!!!!”
