“They all lie, they don't help me, I call every day, but no one answers, they all connect me to another place and I wait a long time, then they disconnect. I had an accident three weeks ago, after I informed my insurance, they said you don't have an option to change the car. After I said ok, they said that you have to pay more money, I paid, but after I filled the form, I saw an email saying that you don't have the option to give us a car. There are only 100 people, they answer by phone and they are non-English speaking, and they connect to other companies. They are all lies, they just want extra money. I am very sorry. I don't have a car now, and they don't do anything”

Actually 23rd May, my windscreen chipped while I'm driving in the motorway I raised the claim on 24th I uploaded the relevant document on the GoSkippy My account site and I contacted the national windscreen service and book the appointment to replace my windscreen They gave the date on 3rd June to replace ..But (31st May) I got a message from NATIONAL WINDSCREEN SERVICE state that they didn't get validation from the insurance company so they can't fix it on Monday It really makes me at peace off. Then I made a call to GoSkippy and they transferred the line to Somerset Bridge insurance when I talked with them they said the windscreen insurance which I took does not belong to Somerset insurance. it's a deal with general legal production ltd. When I contacted them they said they don't have any relationship with GoSkippy. I nearly spent 4 hrs on the phone ... Finally no use. I'm really disappointed because of this issue I'm not able to do any of my routine work. Not even drop my kids to the school even I spend for taxi all my routine travels
Again When I contact the national windscreen service they clearly said that they weren't able to do anything until they get validation from the insurance company . And they informed me that they sent more mail to GoSkippy but they didn't get any response so they held my booking .
I paid my full amount to GoSkippy but now they asked me to speak with GENERAL LEGAL PRODUCTION LTD When I spoke with them they said they don't have any relationship with GoSkippy as well they are not doing for windscreen coverage
I'm really fed up. In my life time I never ever seen this kind out worst insurance company.”

“Worse insurance I have been with got charge twice to swap my car to a van with the same insurance who I was with then they didn't reckonize my no claims because its a van.”

“I called up to cancel my policy, not a problem as there was a payment due they could not confirm if there was a debt outstanding or a refund. That's fine no issue then get an email saying I owe £125 even though I never missed a payment. At no point was I made aware of a cancellation fee or that I would be charged for the remaining time on my policy had I have known this I would not have cancelled. I tried to save myself some money by cancellation something I wasn't using and now I am being charged for something I can't use. I have been sent the phone recording of the conversation to cancel and at no point was I made aware. Absolutely disgusting profiteering from a company.”

“Be very careful. I removed my private reg from my car. I was happy to pay an admin fee to do so but Go Skippy then increased my premium by £200 per year on the same car ! The operator was arrogant and rude and stated that he didn't have to tell me why the same car, in the same situation completely unmodified in any way, would be charged an extra £200...Then went on to charge me £176 to cancel the policy. Its up to anyone to choose off course ! but BE AWARE these guys are like something out of the 1980's pre FCA regulation.....not good ! DANGER”

“Cancelled my policy today, monthly premium was less than £70 but the cancellation charge was more than £175 (what a ripoff) . I have not made any claims during the duration of stay within them (in fact I have not made any claims with any of my insurance companies) still the cancellation rate was this much. I would not recommend this to any of my friends or would dare to buy another insurance from these guys . This clearly shows they are more interested in making large profits than actually care about the customers.”

“I had a terrible experience with GoSkippy Insurance. I was with them for five years without making any claims, basically just paying them money. Last month, someone vandalized my rear window, so I filed a claim for the replacement. They charged me an extra £115 but advised that if I reported it and provided a crime reference number, the fee would be canceled. I emailed them the crime reference number, but they haven't responded. When I called to follow up, they were rude. I'm considering switching to another company.”

“I tried to insure my new car so needed a change of details so contacted them ( this in itself is quite something!) to eventually ( an hour later) be told they couldn't insure me because new car wasn't taxed , which of course needs to be insured in order to tax!!
After more difficult phone conversations they said they would contact the underwriters & they would decide but it would take 2 days for a reply ...
In the meantime I could have insured with just about anyone else , which I did.
Since I have cancelled policy & now been told I have to wait 28 days for a refund.
In all the years & many cars & change in policies have I had so much grief with an insurer !! Dreadful!”

“Awful insurance I paid one month in advance the full amount and after one month they are for proof of address, V5c and proof of employment. Despite provide all this yet they cancelled my policy and I am still awaiting my money.. never buy insurance from this company they are scammers”

“I had taken out a fully comprehensive insurance policy. My circumstances have changed. And I wish to do some voluntary work for the NHS. I Checked with go skippy to see if my insurance covered me for picking up none paying passengers. And taking them to various hospitals . For there doctors appointments. Which I do not get paid for..it is purely voluntary. Im now told my insurance does not cover me. But I can pick up a hitchhiker legally. So in my eyes..there insurance is not fit for purpose. Unhappy insured driver”
