“Worst customer service ever, can't understand them & they read from a script & when you ask something that is not written down then it throws them & end up repeating themselves with the same answer but not relating to the questio, which is so frustrating.......totally rude, 0% on customer service big cons!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!
And don't try & make a non fault claim, they put you through to another bunch of cons "no win no fee" (solicitors) who want to charge you 25% of your final settlement!! Where most decent insurance companies have a legal team of solicitors that would include there costs on top of your final claim settlement !! They are ONE BIG JOKE!
And reading some of the other reviews I feel I am not alone, how can they get away with it? Also looks like you get a generic response!”

“been with them for 3 years,found a better deal and rang them up to cancel,2days before policy ended.Inow get letters and emails from them stating i have a new policy with them.have now had to ring up twice to cancel a policy i never took out.today i got a letter from creation for a finance agreement for this policy.these clowns are holding out for the two week cooling period is over and they think they can charge me,but ive cancelled all direct debits with them. DO NOT USE GO SKIPPY INSURANCE”

“The most rude, bored sounding representatives I've ever encountered. Calls made for renewals, take my advice don't bother answering! Unless you want to be greeted by a hostile person who hates their job or simply don't care for customer service at all. If their staff have no incentive to help or no reason to be helpful, speaks volumes about a company I'd say. I've had several calls all with the same attitude. I've been with them for two years and am glad to be rid. Unprofessional and can only imagine how awful attempting to make a claim might be. 'We don't match quotes'. Don't give a fook tone aside, best statement made. I don't have to deal ever again.”

“We have had the misfortune of insuring 2 cars with Go Skippy. As soon as we insure the cars we were asked to send in proof of ALL documents, passport, wage slip, proof of address and the V5 logbook - all within 3 days or they will cancel. Fortunately I had everything to hand and emailed across to them except for the Logbook - which had not arrived yet as I only purchased the car. They then kept threatening to cancel my policy if my logbook isn't sent in.
I explained it was only just bought and it will take longer than 7 days to arrive thats is just standard - I then called in and Spoke to Marcus (just got off the phone now). He said that he got an extended deadline of another 7 days for the logbook I explained to him (not that he didn't know) that it states on the DVLA site that the AIM to send it within 2-4 weeks (has only been 10 days).
After reading the majority of reviews it's clear to me that this insurance company makes money from cancellations hence their aggressive approach regarding documents. I have made logs of all calls and email correspondences and if it does get cancelled (if V5 doesn't arrive in next few days) then i will lodge a formal complaint to the FOC.
I suggest everyone takes the same approach with these scammers - how they can operate like this is beyond me.”

“First took out insurance paid £108.78 deposit. Then I had to amend this policy due to me losing no claims bonus took another £82.96 deposit then when I cancel my policy you can only find £82,96 deposit. NO customer service. Now you are taking away £20 and £2,00 for use use of 2 days.disgusted is an understatement. Never use you again . I shouldn't have to proof this it should be on record and I have read other reviews. I would rather pay extra then go with you again.”

“I've only just taken out insurance for the first time with you and never again. I did make a mistake and put on the site that I had 8 years NCB when I only had 7 and will pay any monies due. Did contact you straight away and was told via email that it was an extra £70's, 20 for the mistake and a £50 admin charge. I also asked you why I was quoted £214 on the website but than you took out £244, £30's more. Had 3 emails from different people and have responded every time asking if you could answer my queries before making payment, no response from you till today when I get an email telling me my insurance will be cancelled in 7 days. As a new customer I would of thought that you would of wanted to keep my business, not treat me so rudely but not replying. I have no option now but to call you and pay the extra which considering other insurance companies will change policies for free or the normal £25 admin fee, I have 3 bikes, another car and a campervan and know what they charge. I'm hoping that someone who cares about their customers will read this and contact me. Have noticed that majority of reviews are from dissatisfied customers, I can understand why now.”

“If i could star this lower than a 1 star i would set it to a -100 for this company!! Set up a policy online 25th November 2016, yesterday the 6th december they emailed to say that thethey have refunded me!! They cancelled my policy the same day apparently but have not told me until yesterday. They also have not refu des my money! Currently waiting on a so called senior manager to do an investigation. Customer service levels are zilch and they honestly do not have a brain cell between them! 7 different staff members i have spoken to to and not one can give me a straight answer. One terrible company avoid them at all costs!!”

“I received a quote from them and because I couldn't do an online payment I called them they got the registration wrong and said they wouldn't do it under the same quote although it was their mistake. So I said forget it went with someone else. I then relieved a letter from then months later saying my insurance would be cancelled with them. Slightly confused I called them got through to someone who kept me on hold for 15 mins so I hung up. I then received another letter to say the insurance was cancelled and I needed to contact them to arrange the outstanding balance of £149.60. I've checked with the company that I insured with everythings fine im still insured and I paid the policy in full. So I have no idea what goskippy are on about!”

“They cancelled my insurance within the 7 days, would not give me ANY of my first payment back, then went on to take the second payment and not wont give me that back either.”

I paid £270 deposit then received a letter from them telling me they was going to cancel my policy as they had not received my driving license details. This letter arrived the day before they was going to cancel the insurance.these details had been sent but they said they never received them.i agreed to send them by email so I did this. I got a text from them saying insurance cancelled as they couldn't open the email. This was on the Saturday and on the Monday they took the dd £114 out of my bank. I rang them and they told me that they can't refund any of the money paid as the policy was cancelled and if I want insurance I would have to set up a new policy paying another £270 deposit. This company will rip you off. I will be ringing trading standards. Avoid these clowns as you will be sorry”

“I think even giving these are 1 star is a bit of a joke . But you have to to get your point across . My bank as missed a payment and these decided to cancel my policy I've had no letter saying it's going to be cancelled they just did . They sent me a letter on the 24th of November 10 day's ago whats only just arrived on the 4th December and they want £206 off me yes what ever . Like people say you can't even understand what they are saying on the phone and as for them sending your policy through email can't even understand that I opened my email from go skippy and I got just the go skippy sign and you can't talk to em on the phone . I would hate to put a claim in to these jokers . If any sense don't use em even if you think they are the cheapest quote ????”
