“As i can see on here that other go skippy customers are not happy. i had a policy with them myself, I cancelled it after a few short months by phone and email [ which i was advised by themselves]. I have now received a bill for £526.96 cancellation charge. £97.01 for time with policy , £50 for cancellation , £50 for setting up cancellation , £180 brokers fee for cancelling , £149.95 for add on fees. yes seems sure a high amount to pay just for canceling the correct way. i will never use this company again and will advise anyone not to who ever so wishes too also.NOT HAPPY AT ALL.”

“Only given go skippy a 1 as there is no option of 0!! Took insurance with them on the 19th jan paid an upfront payment of £103.64 then paid £48.91 on the 1st of feb.... all ok so far... now after several emails from go skippy they have cancelled my policy and said they want a £72 cancellation fee!! Constantly hung up on and ignored and told to go away!! I want my money back in full you striped jumper wearing thieves!!”

Literally the worst insurance company EVER. Terrible customer service; when you eventually get through after hold times of more than 45 minutes... that's if you can even get through as they constantly hang up on you or transfer you and your call which promptly falls into a black hole. Then you have the misfortune of actually speaking to their rude and abrupt staff who take bad customer service to depths I didn't know were even possible. Simply cough and they will charge you a £50 admin fee. I have wasted countless hours of my time and saying I'm angry could not be more of an understatement...words can't describe how irritating, unprofessional and unpleasant this company is.
Please please please don't use them. You won't save money or time, I have absolutely nothing good to say about this cowboy outfit - they should be shut down!!”

Absolute joke of a company!! Wouldn't let me pay after 7pm at night.... Canceled my policy and won't re-instate it.... Cost me over £2000 in lost work and a black mark against my name to insurance companies..... Will be taking it to court if not sorted!”

“I am only giving 1 star as I have to give a star, I have been with go skippy for 3 weeks and am disgusted by their customer service skills. I have NEVER in the 8 years of driving and insuring my vehicles seen such a two bit operation. Most insurance companies do the leg work for you seeing as they are fleecing you for most of your hard earned money but NO, not this one, they will take your money and make you do all the hard work. I have never had an insurance company request for ME to send my NCD proof and driving licence details and then to be told they cannot accept the original email from the previous insurer but need it as a PDF, AND wow getting them to accept my driving licence details, well this is still an on going battle that has been going on now for 2 weeks, being told by different people that screen shots are not accepted and then being told by someone to send it as a screen shot and then being told that they don't accept them and to save the document as a PDF. HMRC DO NOT GIVE YOU THE OPTION to save their page as a PDF!!!!!!! Oh and if they don't received the details by a certain date they will cancel the policy, HA like I havn't sent the required details 6/7 times already in different formats. personally I think I may be saved if they do Cancel the policy but i'm sure out of pocket again as somehow it will be my fault. I certainly will not be renewing my policy and I will be telling everyone I know to steer clear.”

“Rude customer service, more interested in telling me they were receiving high volumes of calls regardless of the time of day I've phoned. Trying to add business use to my policy to be told I can't as apparently my car is high risk!!!!!! What a load of bo**##*s!!!!!!!!! Oh and not to forget they just hang up on you!!! Poor poor service. Seriously stay clear. I am going to seek legal advice against these cowboys!!!! Will wait for the automatic reply that they will put below this. You set of spineless twats!! 😤😤😤”
“BEWARE TOTAL COST TO CANCEL A POLICY £328.I just wanted to change the car on my insurance policy, they are asked to pay a £ 400 for changing a car. then told to pay£ 191 now. I do not agree, later sent me a new policy documents. As then I decided to cancel insurance policy, and I had to pay £328.EVERYONE AVOID THIS COMPANY...”

“Worst Insurance company in the world, my driving pass date was out by a few months they charged me an additional premium of £112.70 and £50 admin fee. When I rang I was on the phone for 30mins before finally my call was answered by a "scripted" call centre staff who did not speak English very well. The noise in the background was so loud I could not hear myself. I am now trying to cancel my policy and move to a new insurer, avoid at all costs. I wish I had checked these reviews before joining "shit skippy"”

“Finally got thru to an Agent called Ian or so he said definitely wasn't English but wouldn't give me second name . he was still rude (kept talking over me and more or less told me to shut up). Your agents need a lesson in how to speak English and how to be polite. This is a disgusting company for Customer device. Can't wait for the year to be upso I can' go back to a decent insurers”
