Reference number given did not allow us access, and the member of staff was obstructive and absolutely terrible and not helpful in helping us renew a car insurnace! Unbelievably bad and we'll not renew our policy with this awful attitude to customers!

I was recommended to go skippy for Land Rover discovery 4 insurance as they had a good quote, after entering my details which is full no claims 25 years although they only count up to 9+ , live in my own house with a drive , no points or anything bad , kids left home ages ago , I’m 62 , and skippy has come back they can’t even give me a quote , not at all happy with there decision,

Absolute clowns I'm trying to buy a policy online 3 times and it comes back as "payment failed",then I ring and ask what the problem is...a woman is trying to explain that if the system is not accepting my card details then I'll have to change the bank details.Im using a Virgin Money bank account and I've chosen to pay monthly and for that I'll have to pay an initial deposit which I've been trying to pay online and didn't work.According to this woman I have to change not only the card that I'm trying to pay the deposit with but even the direct debit details. Im asking her to amend the details as I've got a HSBC account I can use and she says it'll be a £20 charge for that,I'm going back online to do it myself and the link they provide to retrieve the quote doesn't work. What a bunch of clowns...

Guys, very weak company for keeping your data safe. I have been a victim of fraud twice in the last 3 years, someone used my details and take insurance under my name, which compromised my credit score and much more, Goskippy was a helpless and did not help at all, make me fell like I was in the wrong but I was the victim. terrible customer service, helpless ...stay away!!!!!

scammers. after changing the address they canceled my policy. they make me pay £75 for a cancellation that was not my fault. no one can explain to me why the policy was canceled and why I should pay for the cancellation.

After changing my address, my policy was canceled. Additionally, I had to pay for an additional month and a £75 penalty due to the policy being closed (not my fault). no one was able to explain to me why I was paying a fine as soon as I changed my address.

HONEST REVIEW PLEASE READ - PLEASE AVOID My car was stolen which left us devastated as we have disability in the family and relied on our car. GoSkippy refused to provide a courtesy car, said had my car been in an accident/caught fire they would have provided one but not if stolen even though I had taken out comprehensive cover with courtesy car. I had asked to speak to a manager and was put from department to department over a four hour period. In the end I was put on hold, got to around 50 minutes on the queue and then I simply gave up as I was already very distressed with what happened and GoSkippy made it worse. You may wonder why I took out a policy with them, I use to insure with bigger players but having not made a claim for over 10 years and with the cost of living, I decided to try a cheaper option which I am now regretting. Don't be fooled by Defaqto ratings like I was. I would honestly advise you to avoid GoSkippy based on my real experience and find another provider that will stand by you in your hour of need.

Left me with false documents. I’ve tried calling multiple times to get it changed to the correct information and they never did and continued to make me overpay for insurance. When I had my accident, they also refused to help. They then have the audacity to say I owe them money.

Do not use, I paid each month cancelled my insurance had zero contract from them and got contacted by ICB for a cancellation fee. Will never use again or recommend to anyone. Never had accident so never used them anyway.

If I could give a negative I would , Insured my car with them for the year, but after 1 month my job changed so I cancelled my policy with them. I received a letter stating I owed an outstanding balance of £186. So to summarise 1 month insurance has cost me £55 deposit plus £186 settlement On a annual policy value of £600 not value for money

I got a good quote from GoSkippy for my insurance for one week I was told everything was successful getting email of progress I uploaded my documents and hell broke lose they started saying I filled in a form saying I have a full GB license of which I can stand in court or any where I did not fill in that Information . The website says select other license and makes you click international then your country they limit your options on the platform to specify your license. Then they blamed it on me making an error yet the options are limited and emailed me after a few days they are cancelling my insurance which cost me £25 for an error I did not make out more options for the licence description please it's not fair for people how hold foreign license and are allowed to use it for 12 months and need car insurance. Moving into a new country is not easy financially you won't be stable and you keep losing £25 trying to get an insurance. It's stressful. I can read and write and follow instructions your website or platforms for giving quote should have options for foreign license if don't provide insurance for them be specific and clear on the on set

Premium Policy, fully comp.. cant drive other cars. charged me £25 to cancel policy 30 mins after taking an instant payment.. takes 3-5 days to return the money

I tried to call them the stuff are very rude and no understanding. I tried change my car insurance on to a new car and they were being assholes. I had to call up about several times one of man of the stuff decided to change their mind saying it's 120 charge to change your car insurance but before hand he was saying that . Untrustworthy and it seem they was make up different prices and make up the rules. This car insurance looks nice on the outside but fully of rubbish in the inside yet again the customers service was very bad and very rude.

Too expensive cancelling before 14 days you lose 2/3 of your deposit which is a complete rip-off there are way cheaper than these out there 👎

Go Skippy cancelled my brand new policy due to a breakdown in communication their end over some requested documents (I had actually sent them over 3/4 times!). Lots of back and forth including phone calls to achieve nothing. Was at work and they cancelled my policy and took £60 out of my account (no idea what this was even for) had an email 10 days later stating I owe them £140 and the reason was ".".. Someone forgot to fill in their copy and paste template email. So then I was left uninsured with a bill of £200 for WHAT I just don't know.. BUT AVOID Like the plague, there are plenty of other reputable companies around who are just as cheap- don't fall for it like I did, you will regret it! One star is too many stars.
