Had the policy that started on the 21 12 2023. I believe That I had added my work usage, I was shocked that in in a short period of time 2/1/2024 I was charged £35 admin fee to amended. Which I amended my self on line.

“Got into an accident where the other driver was at fault and go skippy have not provided a courtesy car, they have not gotten my car repaired, as the other driver is with their insurance company and is not answering the phone! They want me to pay my excess of £850, instead of holding the other driver liable! I’ve never had worse insurance from an insurer in all my time as a driver!”

“Avoid, avoid, avoid.
In 22 December payed in full for one year insurance starting from 26 December. As in 28th the car was booked for MOT. In the meantime I received an email to provide proof of address before 29th or my insurance will be cancelled. When I provided proof they said the insurance was cancelled in 22 December. Stating fraudulent or dishonest. Could be a disconnect between comparison websites and insurers, not sure. Anyway we move on, no refund was issued as of 31 December.
Takes minutes for them to take your money, weeks to pay back, if they pay back.
I have no funds to insure this particular car, and I won't hesitate driving while an insurer is holding my funds. As a self employed, I have to earn my food and pay my bills. End off.”

“Scammers. They cancelled my dad’s policy then STOLE £100 from his account and now they want more money (FOR WHAT??) so they keep sending him a letters with their scamming sh*t talk. They think he owns them about £250. Ridiculous! Avoid!
He sent them an email to remind them that they cancelled the policy before it even started because he never actually sent them any documents and they never replied. You not going to see even 1p. We will speak to the lawyers next week.”

“Purchased Go skippy car insurance and then changed my car, they weren’t interested in quoting for the new car, instead went straight to the cancellation fee which, after 4 months was £175.00, threatening the bailiffs if I didn’t pay, to intimidate you even further, it bleeps while completing this form - just don’t use them”

“Punitive cancellation charges.
I paid over £400 annual insurance premium on 17/10.
Just cancelled the policy less than 2 months later (received a motability car for my disabled daughter so no longer need the car) and only received a refund of just over £200.
So I've paid circa £200 for 6 weeks insurance.
I'm sure the response will be that it's written in the Policy documents, but i still feel the cancellation fee is excessive.”

“Dreadful customer service, cancelled insurance policy told they couldn’t tell me if I owed anything as direct debit payment was due. But told in a letter if I hadn’t paid by the 17th they would send debit collectors. Hadn’t even been told what I owed. Had to phone and chase it up was on the phone half an hour trying to get them to sort it out. Rubbish company will not be using Go skippy for insurance again.”

“Absolutely awful service! I made a claim for a theft for my car and Goskippy were really bad with responses. They sent an engineer to go view my car after the police found it and I was not even given the formality to be invited to view my car. The only way I can describe my experience with them is horrific. I’ve asked for answers for over 3 months and I’ve not received one response. The last straw is when I found out they hadn’t even contacted finance to even begin the process for paying the amount. I’ve been going round in circles please do not use their services! If I had know what I know now I wouldn’t have even given them consideration. Save your time and money. The stress is not worth it.”
