DO NOT USE THEY ARE A RIP OFF , IF PAYING VIA INSTALMENTS INTEREST IS CHARGED @ 44%, THAT'S HIGHER THAN MOST POOR CREDIT RATING CARDS!! DOUBLED MY RENEWAL DESPITE HAVING FULL NO CLAIMS COULD NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS AND WAS TOLD I HAVE TO PHONE UP AGAIN TO GET PROOF OF MY NCB DESPITE TELLING THEM I WANT TO CANCEL THREE WEEKS PRIOR. . APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM NON ENGLISH SPEAKING STAFF COULDN'T PRONOUNCE MY SURNAME EVEN AFTER I SPELLED IT TO THEM AND REALLY BAD ATTITUDE INCLUDING THE MANAGERS.. GO SKIPPY CAN GO F##k THEMSELVES WORST COMPANY EVER...

Do not use go skippy. They made all 200 UK staff redundant on June 1st and the whole company has moved to Durban South Africa. I am one of these 200 staff! Do not trust them. Please do not use them!!!!

Shocking customers service contacted go Skippy about ten times and to four different members of staff to cancel my car insurance within the two week cooling off period. They intentionally ignored my emails and just emailed me yesterday two weeks after my original cancellation email to confirm they have cancelled it but surprise surprise charging me an extremely £50 on top of the already £20 cancellation fee. Disgusting company and disgusting staff I have every email I sent to them and shall be passing information onto my lawyer. They still have my money £372. Disgusting

Absolutely horrific company to deal with.do not touch them with a barge pole.once u are in contract your are screwed.I was ready to cancel my policy.called up.was spoken to like crap from a person called porche who could barely speak English. When she could not advise me and I requested to speak to a manager she became hostile and said there was nobody and no department that could help me.she hung up.called back next advisor again English terrible.refused to help and advised told me to email which I did.emailed asked for cancellation.was emailed exactly 40 hrs and 0 mins after and told I would have to pay 102£ I disputed this to be told the account could not be reinstated due to the time frame.I explained again I was not advised of any brokers charges the woman was again very hostile and kept demanding the money.I explained if they had provided me with the correct information. Or any information for that matter I could have looked into it. I feel that when entering into a policy I think that the people who deal with it are separate from the people who deal with existing customers because all of the advisors I have dealt with have no clue and are like robots demanding money.they do not have the capacity to discuss any in depth account queries.horrific I will never go near them again.I never post reviews this is the first and it's because I was really shocked at the customer service.

i have been on the reveiw website i should of read this before i took out my insurance i have been totaly ripped off,i am know getting intouch with the onbusman,do not go with this conpany no matter how cheap they are .

Leave this company alone, absolutely shocking, cancelled my policy with no warning and when I tried asking I was told I need to pay a cancellation fee too, sent from department to department when trying to sort this out

Just got an insurance with them for my daughter on Moneysupermarket. Total rip off. Paid for the insurance online and they claim the deposit I made is less than I paid although I have the bank statement to prove it. They've got the deposit and suddenly the quoted premium goes up by 20 quid a month with a billshit story of the finance agreement, interest etc. I spent an hour on the phone getting shoved from one agent to another until I was back where I started. This is done to frustrate you so you give up. Well I'm not giving up. Don't go with them and don't do it online. I have a diploma in accounting and I've got some idiot on the phone trying to explain finances to me. Unfortunately we are stuck with these idiots until we renew next year with someone else. Stay away from these embiciles!!

absolutely stupid costumer service, lack of communication, hard to understand their English, the level of customer service is 0 and they are not trustful company as they can change and stab you at any time. i had an insurance with theme and i had a wee accident and when i asked for a claim they refused is because i had TPT. i was arguing with them, and i asked what if i want to cancel the policy, they advised me to write an email to the cancellation team, which i did, i only asked in the email the procedure to follow for a cancellation. they cancelled my policy on the 20th of July with no notification and i got a text message on the 23rd stating my policy been cancelled on the 20th which means i was driving with my family with no insurance and facing a 5000 pounds penalty and may be prison I called me straight away if they can reactivate it and they refused they said I should call in the same day. I explained I just got a text message but nothing they could do for me, I spoke to their TL Simon who can’t make a correct sentence in English, he promised me to be called back by a complaints department, no one contacted me until today. and great news is they sent me a debt letter asking me to pay 540.61 pounds is for the claim i have made which is totally stupid. i did not get my car repaired either the other driver i did not get my car replaced during the reparation they totally refuse to do anything for me as i had TPT. They refused to payback my deposit of 180 pounds it is really a night mare and their customer service platform is outside the UK and EU. which i totally disagree to give my personal information somewhere where it is not protected. Go skippy is an insurance scam and should face serious investigation from the UK authorities as the British costumers are in threat with this company. Thanks god i cancelled with theme and i got better cheaper full comprehensive including a break down and based in the UK.

Absolutely disgusting customer service says you owe one thing for a vehicle swap then call back 2 days later to pay it and its gone up by double the amount. Ask them to listen to the recordings and the still say that its that amount. All that is after the endless times being put on hold just to be cut off after 45 minutes to start the process again. The forigners on the other end are rude and do not try to explain anything but instead start to argue with you if you question what they say then try to refuse to send out ncb if you say you wont renew your car insurance with them. This has been the worst time i have ever had wqith any insurance provider and still trying to recover from my phone bills stay well clear

Can never get hold of them i have been on the phone since 7 and still waiting they close at 8 so been on the phone for an hour and don't look like they are going to answer I think they are a bad company to be with will never recommend them to anyone!

Worst company don't go to this company rabish customer service they don't speaks English and you have to wait on the phone hours no body answer the phone I have council my policy they never refund my money they just raping people %100 useless company go skippy

Never had a problem with go skippy untill the time came to renew. At renewal they gave me a price over the phone which was £16 a month more expensive then the price they were offering online, when i rang back and questioned a representative about this i assured him all the details wher the same online as what they had, i was told thy could not give me the price offered online, when i asked y i was not answered, i was then asked for the online refrence number which i gave and was told couldn't be found, the representative then wouldn't help me any further, so i put the phone down and rang bak, went through it all again to be told they couldn't get the online reference up as ther systems wher down! Absolute rubbish! Rip off merchants! I will be contacting trading standards as they should not be allowed to get away with ripping people off!

Avoid insuring with this company at ALL costs. My other half provided all paperwork to them in a timely fashion, then received a letter saying they hadn't received it and the policy was cancelled (by them!) 2 days before Christmas. As we were going away, he immediately insured with a far more reputable insurer to ensure we were covered for our 200 mile trip. We proceed as normal to then receive a letter 2 weeks later saying that actually, they haven't cancelled it, so please send the paperwork over. He then calls and, after being left on hold for an hour, is told that they appreciate they cancelled the policy but please can he send an e-mail to confirm that he agrees they've cancelled it. He does so, then receives an e-mail response saying HE was the one that cancelled (citing the e-mail he was told to send as proof!) and owes over £200 to them. In the end we ceased all communication and refused to answer the phone to them, instead filing a case with the ombudsman citing all of their dodgy practises. This was investigated and we received an extremely passive aggressive wad of documents containing a number of pieces of false evidence which, thankfully, then resulted in GoSkippy agreeing to cancel the 'debt' they claimed we owed. BIGGEST piece of advice to offer to anybody who has made the mistake of going with GoSkippy: REPORT THEM TO THE OMBUDSMAN!! Keep every e-mail and letter you receive! You will not regret it! Perhaps this will finally make this absolute cowboy of an insurer disappear.

Stay away from this company they are a waste of time got new car they wanted £223 pound just to change the car over and the monthly payments increasing to £168 a month from £93 the price had more than doubled than what they where quoting on line the staff are not helpful what so ever they rip you off and to top it of I asked if I could put my no claims bonus on to the policy to bring it down every thing was agreed so contacted my other insurance company to get them removed of my other policy which then increase this one rang this disgusting company back up to add them then was told I couldn't add them awful company Stay well clear

Probably the worst car insurance on the market, they are so expensive and the customer service is shocking. We broke down and the charged us for the recovery vehicle to get us to a place of safety. I had my 8 month pregnant wife , my 4 year old and dog in the car! Even though I pay a high insurance price monthly. Do Not go with Go skipp at all

£20 cancellation fee plus pre-rota... Charged nearly £80 when it should have been £28. No explanation 3 weeks later. Ignore my emails. Avoid.

Left these people as their customer service is shocking!! After leaving I had to call so many times to get my no claims certificate that it's added £19.80 to my phone bill!! Only after emailing a letter of complaint did I receive my certificate (over a month after I initially requested it). I requested a refund for the call costs as it's clearly their fault I had to call for the certificate so many times but there has been no mention of this - surprise surprise!
