“It is a shame this review cannot be forwarded as 0 stars! This company is an absolute shambles. They tried to charge me an additional £600 on a change of address if I was to take my renewal out. The representatives were ignorant and rude, also not being able to understand a word they could say. So I ended up taking my custom and insurance elsewhere but I phoned Go Skippy to cancel any possible renewals, they told me everything was canceled and no further payments would be taken. Then 4 months down the line I realised today and last month they taken a payment out of my account

“The worst company ever met...They asked me for proof of address and employment.I sent them.I got email confirmation and after 16 days I got a text message that my policy was cancelled.They said they have not got the email.I sent them screenshot as the manager asked for it and still wait for they answer...NEVER DO AN INSURANCE WITH GO SKIPPY...NEVER”
“this is the worst insurance i have ever bought they charge you for the smallest mistakes after i payed for it i made a mistake saying i ad my licence for ten years by mistake i had it 9 years they put a extra 70 pound on my insurance then when i had payed all the policy and was on the last free month after being a loyal customer for 12 mnths i ad 12 days left for it to run out i bought a new car and they charged my 50 pound to swap it over then they sent me a renewl and it never whent down plus they wanted a deposit to renew my insurance even after i was insured with them this company to me is just all about getting as much muny out of you as possible plus when you rang them they was in india or somwere like that and you wud be on the phone for bt 40 mins wich cost a bomb i wood never go with goskippy ever again”

failed to process my information they accidentally cancelled my insurancewith out my knowledge despite still taking full payment for 12 months insurance.
I was basically driving without insurance for 14 days
They then reinstated my policy after discovering one of the csa agents had got my docs but had not added them to the system
no apologise it was a disgrace.”
“DO NOT GO WITH THIS CO. They will have very low quotes on comparison websites but that's how they lure you in. After that they are near impossible to get hold of. Their contact centres are abroad and agents not very helpful. They promise to call you back within 15 mins, but never do. Their. Charges are extortionate. “Talked to 3 different customer service agent in the last two days but all of them were the same: rude, high-minded, unhelpful, and impatient. Even though it is an 08 number they want to get rid of you as soon as possible. After of course you been waiting 30 minutes listening to their music while you were put on hold.”

“I can write a very long review about those scammers but I think everything was already said and I don't want to get back into bad memories.
They tried to call me to renew my policy ... I was too scared to pick up the phone because I thought they are going to charge me 50 quid for even say \"Hello\". Better use an e-mail to contact them. At least they answer after 2 days or so. Now I am about to ask for my NCB docs... I have no clue how long it will take to get them if at all.”
“This is the most awful insurance company I have been with. I was with them just over a year ago for a couple of months, I left them as they were going to charge me an extortionate amount of money to change over details about a new car I had purchased which was identical to the one I had before, only 2 years newer. I was then charged a cancellation fee for doing this.
However the worst part about this company is the customer service, when trying to get through to them to change my details I was put on hold for hours, and when I did finally get through to someone I was told they were about to close and I would be called back - I wasn't and had therefore gained a large phone bill for nothing.
I had forgotten all about them until today when I was emailed to say my insurance had been renewed when I have not even been insured with them for the past year. I am currently trying to get through to them but once again am being put on hold for hours.
Never go with this company!!!”
“Been with them a few months,total rip off,50pound to change anything,u tell them u want to make a payment,they say wait 2 days for it to pay,2 days later u get a late charge!!!! Was on the phone for over an hour being passed about from one person to the next,and they barely spoke English and had the cheek to say they can't understand me!!! “Been with Goskippy for 2 years, i only went with them as they were the cheapest for me at the time. Them 2 years were the worst ever, customer service is terrible, the charges to amend anything on the policy is outrageous. The amount of times i have called customer services and been in a queue for over an hour is unbelievable and then get told that their systems are down, yet if i ring their sales department they answer within seconds.
In a nutshell, there are better companies out there and its worth paying a little bit more for better service ( which i should of done in the first place ). Just be very wary of this company and read the reviews. I cant give it less than one star but if i could it would be a big 0.”
“What you save on your premium they make back three-fold in charges and fees!! going with these guys is complete false economy. Ring their sales number and you will get an answer within 3 rings, ring their customer service number and you better have 15-30 minutes spare.
Pay the extra £50 and go with a company that has a good reputation!
Yearly premium for my current car with them is £850.
I've bought a new car and am being quoted £400 tops from other insurers.
To make the most of my no claims I thought I'd try changing the cars over for the last month of my policy, being that the car is way cheaper to insure, I thought maybe the difference in premium would cancel out the £50!!!! admin fee they charge for changing anything at all.
But no of course not! This is GoSkippy! They charge more!!! £72 to change to a smaller and lower insurance group car for the last month of the policy!
I nearly laughed when she asked if i'd be interested in home insurance with them!”
