“The process was not a pleasant one AFTER I PAID FOR THE POLICY. Had I known the trouble I would have obtaining this policy before I had given my credit card details I most certainly would not have gone ahead. Just when I thought I had sorted it I ran into a problem with this insurance due to a misunderstanding regarding no claims discount & another vehicle I owned. They contacted me, on the day the policy commenced, & said that they could not insure me on the basis provided so I replied ok just cancel the policy. It was only when I checked my CC statements I noticed that they had not repaid the full amount. On contacting them I was informed I was charged a £40 cancellation fee. I argued on several points but to no avail. The call operator even said that I had broken the law regarding the policy. Again explaining it was a honest mistake had no effect. Go Girl is a subsidiary of a company that underwrites policies from a lot of brokers. I will in future not use this insurance company again.”
