Have an existing Motor Car Policy with GG Phone Call Nos 1 left hanging with no answer or updates after 45 mins Phone call nos 2 approx 1 hour later no answer after 10 mins, i then hung up Am purchasing a new car in 48 hours and wanted to inform GG of the change or amendment to the policy and request a quote for the top up payment for the remaining 5 months left on the policy, or if quote too high to cancel the remainder of the insurance period. After 2 non answers described above, i sent email to customer services today (thursday) but need a reply prior to picking up car on saturday, "not confident" this will happen by the way i have been treated so far. What happens when you need to speak to a rep urgently after an accident, i shudder to think

AWFUL!!! Please, please, please DO NOT use this insurance company!! They charge huge deposits and threaten that they will cancel your policy after one late payment due to Corona virus, no sympathy or help what so ever. My monthly cost started at £150, then it went up to £180 and now it's £215 because of 'admin fee's' after they apparently had to change something on my file. They are all rude, not helpful in the slightest and are just after your money. Just be cautious because they will take your big deposit and then not care less about cancelling your policy. And they will put your costs up every so often with no real reason as to why. Scam artists and I would not recommend to anyone! Go elsewhere!!

Customer service is awful! Asked if there is any options for myself as i am experiencing financial difficulty due to covid-19 and was told they don't and charged me a late fee for taking the direct debit out on the wrong day. Do not open a policy with them!

I wouldn’t give a 1, but you have to rate them. If you know what’s best for you and as a young driver, do not use this insurance. They only care for themselves, and your money. There are no benefits, being with them. I had an incident, a metal object in the road slashed both of my tyres. I pay monthly for insurance. Only to pay £307.00 to get my car towed. Because my excess is high, they are unable to reimburse me. What is the point of paying monthly fo insurance ? They’re not upfront, nor honest. As a young driver they take advantage. Go elsewhere

Charged for not telling them about expired points despite them admitting as they'd expired they wouldn't affect the price of the policy. Absolutely awful when I unfortunately had a minor accident, can't even begin to describe how poor their claim handling process is then when it came to renewal their customer service were rude and unhelpful. I have never known an insurance company demand to know exactly where I intend to take my car, how on earth am I even supposed to know that in advance?

If you want to be treated honestly and fairly when buying online avoid this company they do not follow online purchase legislation when they give you the wrong product they want to charge you to cancel and buy again rather than make the changes which you expect from customer service, you will not get it just a bill. AVOID at all cost if you can.

This insurance claims to be female friendly, that is just such a lie. My insurance quote doubled just based on the fact that I'm no longer working due to corona virus and am now a housewife. Also the fact that I had been insured with them for 2 years without any claim does not mean anything apparently. Absolutely poor customer service, no support, no proper answers or explanations. Apparently they are not very interested in repeat business. Don't use them!!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. They rip you off big time. Tried to cancel after 6 days of setting up the policy which wasn’t meant to start for another 7 days after that and said there was a cancellation fee. By Law everyone gets a 14 day cooling off period and my policy hadn’t even started so I hadn’t even been covered by them. I was still covered by another company and you can’t be covered by two policies. Firstly wanted to charge me £45 and when I questioned it reduced it to £25. Why the sudden change. ripping off some people more than others. I am also going to Citizen advice as I think it’s unfair paying for something I haven’t used and cancelling with enough notice before it even started. Will be staying clear of this company in the future and warning others of how your treated.

Before I begin, if I could give zero stars, I would. Difficult to deal with right from the off, been with them 4 years, so I would expect some kind of appreciation when dealing with Go Girl. Just bought a new car, and merely wanted to change the car details on the policy. The new car is 7 years newer, yet wanted to charge me £521 for the privelage. Absolute clowns. They'll try and charge you for absolutely anything with regards to your policy. Never took payments on agreed date, then threatened cancellation, despite it being their error. "Give your car insurance a makeover"? Erm, no frigging thank you. Policy cancelled with immediate affect, very very disappointed. Take heed, and go elsewhere.

Go girl! Go and get another insurance ... When I searched the internet for Go Girl's reputation I had no idea what they could do with their client. It was an attractive price for my insurance and had a reasonable reputation with Google, so I trusted and insured my car. I put all the pertinent information (I have a driver's license from another country for 17 years, 14 consecutive years insurance without claim) and so far so good. But after paying the first installment, came the surprise. A 25% increase in price for not accepting to be insurance from another country (they knew when they approved the budget by Comparethemarket, nothing was omitted!) And now when taking my full driver's license, they will do a new I add to my insurance. (again they knew I didn't have a UK Driver License) and yet they made the cheapest offer! Summary: The price will be good at first, but once you get it done and no longer have the patience and time to research another insurer, they will beat it and make your insurance the most expensive. Go girl! Go and get another insurance from another company.

had a good year of insurance, was in process of purchasing my renewal, got a email for an additional fee which would be cheaper for me to cancel and go elsewhere, when asked what this fee was, never understood and stated this after the phone call and asked for more information via email and the customer service completely ignored I asked this. Currently waiting for a refund which I was told would take 3 working days, here I am on the 5th working day

I had been with go girl for 5 years and had no problems with them until I actual needed to use them because of an accident I was in. Not only did they not do a single thing to help me while my car was out of use they used to take money and change things about my policy without informing me. My accident occurred 200miles away from home and resulted in my car door being ripped off, meaning the whole side of my car was exposed to the elements while it was heavy snow this spring. I could not return home for 4 months (1. as i didn't want to leave my car unsecured in the middle of nowhere and 2. i had no way home as i couldn't drive my car) while i saved up enough to buy a new car door and have it fitted. They didn't even help me arrange a pick up to take me the garage to to get the door fitted. I had to drive my car with no door to the garage. Not a hint of care for the customers. This accident happened in March and i have still not received anything regarding the outcome, the only reason i found out they changed no claims was because i was trying to apply for new insurance with a different company. Basically, I wouldn't recommend using this insurance company, the low price may be very appealing at first but there's a reason they're so cheap because they don't actually do anything to help when you need them.

You get what you pay for! Firstly they don’t answer the phone. Secondly, they can’t get payment details correct. Even when you tell them they’ve got it wrong they won’t correct it. Then they call to say your payment can’t be made. My advice - pay more and get better service elsewhere

Have been trying all morning to get through but nobody is answering. Have sent an email and no response as yet. It seems from other reviews this is a problem. Go Girl awlays used to answer the phone almost straightaway. Is there anybody in the call centre?Not inspiring me to renew my insurance with Go Girl.

Go girl is a great insurance company and the process is simple and straight forward intil you need them. For becoming unemployed they have demanded £1000 for change of occupation and you do not feel protected by the company what so ever once something goes wrong.

STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY THEY SCAM THE LIFE OUT OF PEOPLE. THEY CANCELLED MY CAR POLICY WITHOUT TELLING ME...GIVEN THREE DIFFERENT STORIES TO WHY IT HAD BEEN CANCELLED. SPOKE TO 3 MANAGERS AND 4 CALLHANDLERS WHICH ALL WERE VERY CHEEKY AND RUDE 7 HOURS LATER AND I FINALLY GET THE ANSWER I WAS LOOKING FOR THEY WERE TO FAULT.. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
