Well priced insurance premium with great weekly perks for getting in the green

Reply to emails were 2 weeks late. After having the blackbox fitted a week later I get txt to say it hasn’t been fitted. The is no app for new drivers, need to log on website to check dashboard which is annoying.

The price of the policy and ease of the app was a bonus for me! However, getting in contact can be a bit of a fiddle. The Chatbot does actually have more features and knowledge than one might think. Once you have grasped this, the service is much better!

Ok with most of the stuff u need,but don't like not being able too talk with someone over the phone and when u do get a call back it was never when they said it would be if they did ring back at all!!!

Customer service via live chat is very friendly and professional, but the majority of the time I have requested for something to be done it hasn’t and takes ages to get things sorted

I had no Choice but to choose Carrot Insurance, BUT it hasn’t ALL been bad. I have been intouch with the insurance company numerous times as my named drivers app hasn’t worked once, I was worried this would affect my over all insurance at the end of the year with mileage but Carrot have ensured me this is not a problem as I have reported it. Carrot gave me a £68 Amazon gift voucher for all the treats I have missed for the app not working which I think is brilliant. Carrot isn’t a great insurance company BUT for new drivers I could see why they would choose them.

Carrot insurance is great for new drivers. This insurance gives you an incentive for improving your driving through rewarding you with vouchers! However after dealing with numerous queries, communication is quite poor. I received no direct contact when I was trying to deal with my claim.

Carrot insurance are a good company to go with if your in need of a black box, easy to set up yourself. Only problem is it can take a few hours to get through to talk to someone and some people are not helpful and don’t seem to want to help

The live chat is a great feature to enable access to quick and reliable information. However, since taking out my policy I haven’t been able to access my dashboard once even after multiple attempts to change my login and I have spoken to members from the live chat and they were unable to help me. This is a huge let down for me as I’m unable to monitor my driving score which was one of the key factors of advertisement when I came across carrot insurance!

Emails and letters sent telling me I hadn’t paired my app to the wingman when I had caused me stress especially when the sanction is to have the policy cancelled. I have had issues with the wingman suggesting I have completed journeys even though I have just been walking around my house.

customer service is great but i don't appreciate how i can get an email but cant resend emails because they don't exist or telephone because it is a claims line only.

Customer service is not good, almost got charged additional fees, I have read that this is a common issue. The app is broken, but insurance price is great.

I have had a few issues with the policy due to being incorrectly charged extra because my proof of no claims was not sufficient, although it has now been confirmed to be okay. This money is going to be reimbursed and everyone I have spoken to since has been very helpful.

Price slightly cheaper than competitors however daughter loses points for driving to work at 4.30am. Goes from 10/10 to 5.5/10 so loses her rewards. The driver login page shows all journeys and rates them so you can keep a check on how your driving. If you drive well you can earn rewards for high street shops, restaurants etc. Black box was fitted without problems however carrot didn’t have evidence of this so sent warning of cancellation notice even-tough the black box was registering my driving and earning me rewards. I also had to send my driving licence twice because it hadn’t been registered the first time I sent it! Overall a little allover the place but it was down to price and a bonus to earn rewards when not driving to work!
