Hi, Thanks for your review. Nematodes are a live product and we advise to purchase these for when you are wanting to use them. The expiry dates will have approximately 10 days to 2 weeks on and we would advise that these are stored in the fridge before use. Please let me know if you have any questions. I set up a series of deliveries for BASF nematode control. I have only once received the more expensive BASF version. One time I received a differential refund, as I was assured this was the only time I would be getting the ‘own brand’ version. Since then I have received the ‘own brand’ with no refund or apology. I didn’t select the own brand as I used that in 2024 and found it to be ineffective, so I wanted to revert back to BASF and was happy to pay the extra. I have no idea why there would be a difference as it should be the same number of the same organism, but the proof is in the pudding! I have given two stars as they have sent it to schedule, and once I did get a £1 refund.

Hi, I am very sorry to see this. Unfortunately there has been a manufacting issue with the BASF branded Slug nematodes for the last 3 months, this has limited the amount of stock that we have received for our orders throughout the season. I apologise that this has occured, unfortunately this can happen due to the nematodes being a live product and may sometimes not pass their quality assurance, in which case we try to be as clear as we can with our customers and will endevour to fulfil the orders as best we an, or as an alternative, the order can be cancelled and refunded if preferred. Item was due to be delivered a week ago. Apparently delivered to a village 8 miles away!! This is the fault of DHL couriers who have yet to recover the item and deiver it to the correct address. This is not the fault of Gardening Naturally, who have been in touch and are chasing DHL to expedite the order. Gardening Naturally have offered to send out a replacement item so I commend them for this..however, the fault lies with DHL and I do not want the vendors to be out of pocket for a problem with their couriers drivers... Will give a better review when this has been rectified. Couriers can be a nightmare

I ordered ladybird larave to be shipped week commencing 26th May. They turned up without warning the week before (i.e. 20th May) no email alert and I was not expecting the delivery that week. Since then I received an email stating the items would be shipped 2nd June. Nothing has arrived. Inconsistentency.

Hi, I am very sorry to see this. I can see the order placed for delivery date week commencing 26th May, I am very sorry to hear that this had arrived sooner. From the order, it appears that only 1 pack of these has been ordered, once these are marked as delivered on our system, you will receive an automated email to let you know that the order has been shipped, however you won't receive an additional delivery, this email is generated for invoicing purposes only. What started as a minor problem with fungus fly, after treatment with nematodes has now developed into an infestation after total reliance on the product. How long should I wait for it to be effective?

Hi, I am very sorry to hear this. If the area is severe, we would recommend a few doses of the nematodes to help target the infestation. You should see a reduction of pest in a few days after applications, however if it is more servere, it may not be that the nematodes haven't worked, more that they have reduced what they can, however if there are varying life cycles, more than 1 application will be required. When the order arrived, one of the bottles had leaked and was nearly empty. The packaging was destroyed and Royal Mail had done a very good job in protecting what was left. On contacting Gardening Naturally, they immediately sent a replacement, which was fine, although once again, it had leaked a little but not enough to make a further complaint.

The product is 'OK' but the way it is packed is a total disaster. It definitely needs two people, both with considerable patience, to disentangle the 'birds nest' of entagled plastic to discover that you have been sent material that is 1.7m wide but wrapped (tangled) in a roll that is only 30 cms wide. Sort the packing and despatch out and you may have a viable product

I ordered 2 different Nematodes . One for Ants and one for Leatherjackets. They arrived together on the 20th September The latter had a use by date of 14th Oct but the Ants had a date of 24th Sept. As we were away from the 19th Sep for 1 week following they are now out of date and assume effectively useless. So not happy at all to get short dated product.

Ordered nematodes and selected next day delivery date. Received confirmation but then no updates until 6 days later to advise order had been posted. Shouldn't offer a delivery date that cannot be fulfilled. Received far too late so wont be making another order.

Use double amount needed but still slugs eating plants. Have used in past from different company and had better results, maybe unlucky?

When buying plastic free products, sending them out covered in plastic kind of defeats the purpose! You clearly have a lazy dispatch team that care little for the planet. Or a management team that have simply failed.

I received my nematodes early. On the day they were due they had only 8 days before being out of date. It was already a drought, so difficult to apply them. On top of that, on the day they arrived I got a message advertising a sale of nematodes! You could at least have sent me some with a decent expiry date if you had enough to offer a sale. Although I recognise I did order them the expected slugs have not appeared due to drought, so all in all I am not best pleased

Only received the frame no fixings, angles or net still awaiting a delivery of the balance of the order . Aluminium poles delivered Friday several emails and a telephone call still no answers ? Hope it won’t be much longer
