“Unfortunately the delivery of my fruit cage has over shadowed any positive comments that I might of had I don’t recommend DX the delivery option that was chosen for my delivery at all as they delivered to the wrong address then took 4 days to even contact me with regard to the miss delivery Gardening naturally where less tardy however I was still made to feel that some how it was my fault that they’d mucked it all up So well done to all NOT !”

“The nematode control package does work in time, especially in combination with the sticky cards, but sometimes the two are not in stock at the same time, which is frustrating. The mixing process for the nematodes is complicated and fiddly, and I had to throw half of the solution away - a half size package would be more useful and much less wasteful.”

Hi, Thanks for your feedback on this product, I have passed this along to our purchasing team in relation to the out of stock components. With nematodes, you can't overdo it, so you can use any additional solution and apply to the same areas, which creates a higher concentrate of nematodes. If the nematode level is higher than the pest population level, the nematodes will die back to the correct level. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Kind regards Gardening Naturally

“My order was for nematode worms, so I will not know if they have worked until next summer. This is the reason for my ratings. The delivery and the application were fine.”

Hi, Thanks for the review. We advise that nematodes will last approximately 2 weeks from delivery, and should be applied before the expiry date on the packet. Once applied, the nematodes will last up to 6 weeks in the area of application. We are always happy to hear whether a product is suitable or if there is anything we can do to improve our service. “Service was really good , came in good time. Only problem was listing was not exactly correct with the measurements 19mm joints are actually 16- 17mm so only fit their tubes”

The description for these joiners mentions that they are suitable for use with the 19mm tubing, and the dimensions should be listed under the specifications tab: Internal Dimensions of the joiner - 14mm External Dimensions of the joiner - 17mm If they aren't suitable, they can be returned to us for a refund if they are unused and in a resellable condition. “Slug nematodes - slow delivery. This is a live product, but the parcel was delayed and circulating around for days before being delivered. I've watered them in, but I'm not sure if they'll still be effective.”

Hi, I am very sorry ti see this. We dispatched the order on 28th May on a Tracked 24 service with Royal mail, these are showing as delivered on 31st, we advise that nematodes are fine in transit for up to 4 days unless the weather is especially hot. They will usually have an incredibly off-putting, pungeunt smell if they have gone off, as opposed to their natural earthy smell. Please let us know if you have any other questions. “I received the net cage but it does not come with the net? I read through the details and thought that it did. I dont understand why you would sell one without. Not very satisfied to have to buy the pegs separately, the pinms seperately and now the net.”

Hi, I am very sorry to see this. From the order it appears that the cage was selected with no netting. We offer this as an option because some customers have netting that they wish to use with the frame and don't need additional netting. Please elt us know if you have any other questions. “I only ordered a catalogue, which arrived within a couple of days. However had previously tried to visit, what their website suggested was a garden centre, to find it was just an office dealing with mail order!”

“Nowwhere near as good as they used to be. Stay away from their own brand nematodes - they don't work and then they will give you a load of techno babble telling you it's your fault and you clearly don't understand how to use the product. They used to care.”

“Premium double arm spring autovents arrived promptly. Fitting to my 50 year old aluminium frame greenhouse wasn't as straight forward as instructions and marketing suggested. Fixing screws supplied for brackets were too short and the angle of the lower fixing bracket means full closure of the vents is not guaranteed.”

“I purchased a fruit/vegetable cage. Very expensive for what it is. Nice and light, easy to assemble, but the veggiemesh is just a flat sheet. I had expected it to actually fit the frame and around the corners. Although there are good clips to secure the mesh, it is very bulky at the corners. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.”

“The items when they arrived were fine but the packing was awful! Two replacement greenhouse vent tubes were ordered, posted out just in a thin plastic bag - one of the items had poked its way out and was lost in the post, the second sticking through the plastic when the postman delivered it. After discussion with GN they sent out a replacement - I asked them to pack it better but was again sent out in a thin plastic bag. The replacement arrived but again was on its way out! They really need to rethink how things like this are packed, it may be "green" to minimise packing but not if items are lost or damaged as a result. The staff member I spoke to was friendly and helpful.”

“So I bought hoops, clips and netting to make tunnels. The hoops come with anchors. The anchors do not fit with the hoops supplied so I am pushing the hoops directly into the ground. Other than that all seems good.”

Hi, Thanks for your message. The anchors that are supplied with the green hoops are designed to be incredibly tight fitting, this is to prevent the green rod from going through the entire anchor. For tight fitting anchors, we would advise that the anchors are soaked in warm water to allow them to be slightly more malleable to fit onto the ends of the rods. “Would have been 4 star had it not been for some poor customer service especially when compared to other companies with whom I have recently had dealings. The speed of reply to queries was good but the execution of a resolution was poor. 16th April. As a result of this review I was contacted by Debbie from gardening naturally and my issue was resolved within 24 hours. Thanks to Debbie for sorting it quickly. Just for clarity, I have no issues with the quality of the purchases so far and were it not for this hiccup in customer services, my review would have been higher scoring. I will be using this company again.”

Hi, I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the product. The Ultrafine Veggiemesh netting is listed as ultrafine as the mesh size is smaller than our standard Veggiemesh, with the Ultrafine being 0.8mm x 0.8mm and the standard Veggiemesh hole size is 1.35mm x 1.35mm, there is not a noticeable difference in the mesh unless you have a piece of standard Veggiemesh, when held together the Ultrafine is noticeably finer mesh by hole size. If you would no longer like the product, this can be returned to us for a refund if the mesh is in an unused, resaleable condition. Please let us know if you have any other questions. “The product is very noisy and difficult to keep quiet. The vibrations from the pump up the cable then resonate on the plastic body and create enough noise to drown out the sound of the water. A grommit would have dealt with this. Any claim that it raises humidity is dubious as an increase of two percent is not significant.”

“I like the ethos of gardening naturally I've bought multiple nematodes over the years mainly vine wevil. Just trying the flea Beatle and ant nematodes. So far the ants are loving it! Lol may need too treat again as no effect.”

Hi, I am very sorry to see this. It appears that this product was for the Slug nematodes with an expiry of 9th October, we dispatched these on the 7th October and from the tracking, it appears that this was delivered on 8th October. We will occasionally sell products close to their expiry as these are fine to use until they are expired and we send these on a Tracked 24 service with Royal Mail to ensure that the fastest delivery can be achieved.
