I ordered a Darlac Grab-n-lift from Gardening Naturally which arrived last week. On opening it on Sunday 21st March I discovered there were no fixings. I telephoned GN on Monday and was told they would be sending the missing items either from their own stock or the manufacturers. I am hoping to hear from them soon.

A very efficient company to deal with. Sadly I had to return my fire pit as It was not as described - a European manufacture’s description not Gardening Naturally’s. The return process was not simple, as I had to use a Post Office (lockdown, rural location etc) but I anticipate a full refund.

Nemaodes product watered in as per instructions. Blind act of faith lets se if it makes any discernible difference in slug control.

The package arrived damaged and some of the liquid lawn feed had leaked. This may not be gardening naturally's fault as the Royal Mail did apologise. However I think it would be better to send such items in additional waterproof packaging.

Excellent environmentally aware products packaged in a very environmentally unfriendly way - loads of unrecyclable packaging and plastic sticky tape Come on you can do better than this

Purchased 2000mm x 900mm Veg. cage last year, with only 4 uprights the middle soon started sagging, gradually getting worse. Could not buy additional legs/crossbar as out of stock, so hence purchased for this season. Did not mind purchasing additional components but annoyed at having to pay two lots of postage/delivery. 2000mm LONG FRUIT/VEG. CAGE DEFINITELEY NEEDS 6 LEGS.

Prompt delivery of goods ordered. But I'm worried the bubble wrap is not recyclable or biodegradable and neither is the large quantity of tape on the cardboard box. Environmentally friendly packaging materials are now available and I expected them to be used by a company called "Naturally".

We quite like the Darlac Patio Weeding Knife we bought but was a little upset when we found the same item cheaper from other places.

Since you ask me to write.. the stuff arrived, but the description/pictures in the catalogue were misleading....we only got half the toolbar ordered, apparently the handle is another £50

There is only one problem with Gardening Naturally, but bad enough to reduce the rating from very good 5 star to simply acceptable 3 star. The problem is that they use DHL for deliveries - and round here (N.Cornwall) DHL are completely incompetent and generally regarded as the worst parcel service (Hermes are almost as bad). The information they provide to end customers is atrocious - late, usually wrong or incomplete or simply missing. They routinely miss delivery slots, leave incomplete 'missed you' cards even when you are in, and when they do deliver can be 20min before their stated earliest delivery time. Beware - there is a good chance you wont get your goods - which is only Gardening Naturally's fault because they choose to use DHL. I'd pay more to have it delivered by Royal Mail/Parcel Force or one of the competent independents (eg DPD). As it is I can no longer buy from you.

Hi Roger, Apologies for the delay in replying to this, the review was missed when it was submitted. DHL as a whole are generally very good for us but we do get some isolated problems and often this can be in certain areas of the country, We use royal mail for the majority of our parcels however when the order is to large or to heavy then we have to send this with DHL. We do review our couriers and the service they provide every year and we may well use different couriers in the future. If you want to ensure your order is being sent with royal mail I would advise just giving us a call and we can confirm over the phone how the order will be sent depending on what item(s) you are ordering. Its far too early to review the effectiveness of this fertilizer, however it arrived very promptly. This is a very expensive product and while it might discourage slugs etc it doesn't smell sufficiently to put off cats from my flower beds. I've had to mix traditional (smelly) fertilizer to keep the cats away which is disappointing at that price.
