“I bought a wooden hammock stand that, when delivered, was an utter disgrace. It had was clearly a second that had been poorly patched up to sell. I contacted customer service and it was explained that it was direct from supplier (drop shipped). Garden Chic (Gudrun) did apologise and asked for pics which I sent and to their merit, a replacement item was sent out within 48 hours. The replacement was the product that I'd originally hoped for. It could be that one bad one slipped through the net, although the poor effort to patch it up and repack by the supplier says otherwise. However, the customer service and speed of dealing with the matter by Garden Chic was very good indeed.”

“Great product and quick delivery with a date that I was able to select myself. Excellent customer service throughout. My only issue with the product itself is that the doors were way too big and had to be planed down quite substantially.”

“Order, payment, delivery on the day were professional, efficient and straightforward. I would order furniture again. The reason I have not given 5 stars directly relates to the fact that the delivery window we were given was a whole day, rather than some sort of restricted arrival time slot. This makes planning difficult as we had no locked down delivery date/time when ordering.”

“Reason 4star didn't give enough notice for delivery only couple of hours, I was in work so couldnt organize for someone to be home, will give another review in the summer when the furniture is being used.”

“I ordered an Haemmerlin wheel barrow in the Black Friday sales to get the best price and asked for it to be delivered the week after as I was on holiday. I came home to find the wheel barrow in my front garden and had been delivered whilst I was away, despite I believe Garden Chic sending an email to the supplier for delivery the week I'd asked for, the barrow could have quite easily have been stolen. So although possibly not garden chic's fault, marked down 1 star for this issue.”
