Ordered a petrol lawnmower off their site 6 days ago. Delivery was advertised as 3-5 days. I have yet to receive my product, or hear any update since my original purchase date.

Ordered a garden furniture set. They originally sent the wrong cushions which I understand can happen. Contacted them promptly and they arranged collection quickly and agreed to post out the right cushions once they received the wrong ones. It took a further 2 weeks to post out the right cushions, eventually was sent on the 30th of this month and it is now the 5th and the overnight DX courier they use, still haven’t delivered them.

I bought 3 forest garden planters 1.8m When they arrived they look NOTHING like the photo. I had to spend eight hours sanding them to get them looking anything like the photo. I have never seen rougher cut wood! Please be aware if you buy these they would probably suit an allotment not a patio!

The actual cabin is mostly good quality. However, the instructions are awful! You have to work from drawings alone and much of it is guess work. I ended up having to pay a professional carpenter £450 to help me. He was seriously challenged by the instructions too. We had to work by trial and error which took us 3 whole days. Not impressed. Also the wooden base provided was not big enough for the structure. We had to buy more treated wood and enlarge it. If the company provide step by step instructions I would recommend this product. Until then I would look elsewhere. Dear Garden Chic. Thank you for your email. I did contact the retailer both in advance of purchase with questions about whether I would need assistance with assembly, and after I received the instructions and cabin. I was assured that as long as I had "a reasonable standard of DIY" that I would have no problem assembling the cabin. I also phoned to complain about the poor quality of the instructions as soon as I had removed tha packaging. I was told that the drawings were "very straightforward" and "easy to follow". The step by step instructions were included, but for a completely different 4 sided cabin with a pitched roof. I was informed that there were not specific instructions for my cabin. This in my opinion constitutes mis selling. If you are prepared to reimburse me for the funds that I was forced to pay out for a professional (who had never seen such poor instructions) I will consider amending my review. Best wishes Carl

Garden Chic were great - delivery and everything was great. The product - large parasol was very poor quality and broke within 2 days - the fixings are not of good quality the parasol itself is fine but screws etc. are plastic and broke - don't recommend the product

After only a few months, the fire pit has rusted and gone brown. Considering this is an outdoor garden item, I would have expected it to last a lot longer. It also would benefit from some holes in the bottom to let the water out. It's a shame as otherwise it would have been a great fire pit.

Hi Jenny Thanks for the review. Metal firepits will always rust owing to the heat from the fire and the item being an outdoor product but rusty is usually considered to be part of the natural, rustic attractiveness of the items. We do say on the web site that the metal firepits will rust, usually the first time that they are used.

Delivery left in front garden (despite calling and requesting it was left in shed). Their attitude was "not our problem". Would never use this company again.

Hi Dawn Thanks for the review. Ascalon furniture is part of our kerb side delivery range. We did request with the courier that the item be placed in the shed but anything beyond kerb side is at couriers discretion. Courier reported access issues to the shed. Our apologies for any misunderstanding.

Goods were faulty. I needed to make many phone calls to get a refund for the return of my goods. However the people who responded to my calls were very pleasant, cheerful and helpful.

There are some things we do like about the product (garden pergola) but these have been outweighed by the problems we have experienced in erecting the pergola. The placing of specific pieces was difficult due to lack of identification of them from the plan, measuring the area for correct placement of the legs was very difficult as the measurements given for the foot plates on the plan didn't match the measurements of the foot plates supplied - we had to ring the office to get the correct measurements! Putting the canopy in place was very difficult due to a pulley ring being slightly smaller than all the others and we had to force the pole through it, which now means that despite the instruction to remove the canopy in the winter and in event of strong winds it is now impossible to remove the canopy - any advice you can give us as to protecting the canopy for the future or how to change the pulley without dismantling the whole structure would be very much appreciated. We hope to hear from you!!!

The panels were hot all the same and all the lats were stapled not nailed And fell apart when moved ( it took me all day to nail together ) complained But not response from garden chic , look else where

I purchased a wheelbarrow which, on arrival I realised was smaller than i wanted. I asked to replace it with a larger one. I was told that this was not possible. I will not use Garden Chic in future.

Product fine but took 6 weeks to deliver. Apparently the product was out of stock but it said in stock on their site when I ordered it. The worse thing about garden chic was their lack of communication. No emails to let you know whats happening, just total silence. After waiting 3 weeks I got in touch to ask what was happening. They said they would phone me back they didnt. Would I purchase from them again? Definitely not.

Ordered garden circle pergpla. The supplier cancelled the delivery on six separate occasssions. I eventually cancelled order. Garden Chic kept saying this matter was beyond their control.
