“I was a little disappointed when the shoes arrived . I loved the shoes, and the heel size was just what I wanted when I saw the picture. However when they arrived the heels were much higher than advretired.As it turned put they were too small anyway. Nevertheless I will use this site again as I love Gabor shoes.”

“I am very pleased to find shoes that fit. I have to buy size 9 as 8.5 doesn’t exist and these shoes do not feel too big. I would like to know how to look after the nubuck? Is it best to spray protector before use? It would help to have this information on your website.”

“These shoes are well made with nice heel height. I’m on my feet all day and many are just too high. Sadly I will have to return as the 5.5 is just too small. 6 is out of stock so my quest for a comfortable court shoe with a nice heel height goes on.”

“Very pretty sandals - received lots of compliments! But took a star off because I specifically asked if the footbed was suede or leather . Customer online chat said suede but it’s leather. I prefer suede.”

The material of the footbed does change dependent on the colour, so you should have been asked which colour you were interested in so the correct information could be given. “Nice shoes - stylish and not too high but sent them back because 4.5 which normally fits was too tight across my foot. Had tried the size 5 in store and it gaped a bit at the side so that's why I ordered 4.5. Also discovered the uppers were not suede as I thought but man-made.”

“Always buy Gabor shoes as they are so comfy and well made and ones I have had in the past last forever. Loved these but not quite as good a fit as previous ones. Feels like they are a little shallow for the foot as it has a very slight tendency to rise out of the shoe. Still good quality though and look lovely.”

“I like the shoes. My right foot is a little wider than my left so at the moment the shoe feels tight. I am sure that the suede will stretch with wearing.”

“Loved the shoes but unfortunately I had to send them back. They are advertised as wide-fit. I did get them on - but they would have crippled me. So I was very disappointed.”

“I always wear Gabor shoes as they are so comfy and very fashionable. I'm not so happy with the fact that I have to pay return postage if I'm not keeping them. Most on - line retailers offer free returns.”
