“Lovely boots, soft leather, but I decided to return them as I prefer a higher heel. Would have exchanged for "Maybe" style, but unfortunately out of stock in size 3. Customer service was patchy: a young man promised the earth and delivered nothing, then talked to a young lady who was excellent, and most helpful. I think that returns postage should be pre-paid on such an expensive item.”

“Really nice looking boots, however they are not as wide as I thought, actually I think they are regular fit. I should have sent them back, but I have worn them.”

“Great service and the Briano ankle boots are excellent. Perfect fit, don't agree with other reviews which say they are narrow. The toe area is a bit agricultural and it would have been nice to have a bit more shaping, but the look is fine for when I am using the boots.”

“My wife 's birthday is not until next week so I do not yet,know what she thinks but she always likes Gabor. Sadly the boots should have been gift wrapped and they were not.”

“The shoes are just what I was looking for, very much like an old pair I have (different brand). They only had them wide fit (G) in my size 5 and I was worried they might be too wide, in fact they felt tight on my toes so as I have been looking for some like this for 2 years have persevered and tried to stretch the leather. Wore them for first time yesterday walking round a shopping mall and they feel ok !”

“Unfortunately not all people with long feet are a wide fitting So the right foot on these shoes weee to sloppy. Shame show itself might have been useful”

“The shoes I received were some of the best I have been able to find in recent years. I have small feet and most retailers seem to be discontinuing their small size stocks. To be told "we have it in a size 4" is not helpful, so may Gabor long continue to sell small sizes.”

“I very much like the black leather ankle boots I just bought but the only 'thing' I would say is that the size - 7 1/2 - on these boots is slightly bigger than the 7 1/2 size of the very similar suede boots I bought earlier this year. But I felt the 7 might be too small so i didn't try and change them. Next time I will get two sizes and then decide which fits best.”

“sandals arrived after several days wait and the box inside the parcel looked like it had been through the mill....not what I would expect from Gabor...sadly shoes were too big my error they on had 6.5. in stock at the time therefore had to return and pay postage...again would have thought at price of sandals return postage would have been included or possible the option to pay a nominal fee to return”

“Bought Gabor shoes and boots for many years now. I have always loved the style and fit. The quality has always been excellent. However I am becoming g increasingly disappointed with products the company seems very willing to ignore the needs of customers in particular those requiring smaller fitting and narrower fitting shoes. The regular fit shoes are much wider than they used to be and the majority of styles only available in wide fit. I have always bought my boots from Gabor as I have elm calf and ankle. I have measured previous boots calf 31 inches. Slim leg maybe boots now measure 33 inches which are 2 inches wider than previous.”

“Excellent pair of boots but very little information about width within boot for wider feet. I was also bothered by one review that claimed your boots were not waterproof. Please say whether or not they are… Please include navy as a standard colour for all your shoes. Black is great, as is brown, but navy is a key colour. So: waterproof, colours (you will sell more with more colours), and sleek styles. Thank you.”

“I wanted long navy boots and they are not easy to find. I love the style of the Gabor boots but the navy is so dark they look black, even in a good light, which is disappointing. I am keeping them only because I cannot find any others.”

“Bought sandals they arrived promptly. Unfortunately they were too long, they looked more like a size 6 than a 5. Returns were easy but surprised I had to pay for it myself. I was kept updated and credit was in my bank 3 days after I returned them. All in all service was very good.”

“I love Gabor products so was very disappointed to receive my latest order of sandals and trainers. The trainers were packed well but the sandals arrived in a box which was broken and torn, without any tissue wrapping and one sandal, although the same size was much bigger. It looked like the box had been kicked around the floor a few times. So disappointed as the sandals were what I’d been looking for and needed them for a city break I was going on.”
