“I initially left a good review, but damage was done to my car and the engineer didn’t properly fix the fuel pump under the bonnet and now I’m being told that’s not a valid reason to have someone sent out and it’s not covered by warranty after they charged me £400 for the service. They don’t care for customer service at all.”

“I was 250 miles from home, crossed hoses at Tesco filling station resulted in 35L of unleaded petrol straight into my diesel engine. I stopped mid fill and horrified at what I had done thinking of recovery to a garage and a hefty garage bill, not to mention a ruined holiday and hire car costs was thankfully avoided. My wife found fuel fixer on google which gave straight forward advice as to dos and don’ts, I phoned Fuel Fixer and a quick conversation put my mind at rest and explained the draining process. 45 minutes the engineer arrived and pumped all the fuel from the tank it took around 40 minutes. The costs were very fair and all upfront and the work guaranteed. The kindness and courtesy was very much appreciated a very serious problem was avoided. I can’t speak highly enough of the service, with much gratitude thank you!! .”

“Very effective. Very expensive. Took an Hour to get to our location then another hour to complete the drain. He upsold me on a product for an extra 30 pounds; at a cost of close to 500 pounds, to upsell is unacceptable. Everything should have been included. Finally in the service description it said you would furnish fuel; that’s a vague statement. He did not furnish any fuel. I should have gotten a discount since I had to then fill my vehicle with diesel; if I was not at a fuel station I am guessing I would have been provided with several gallons of diesel so I could get to a gas station. Why did I not then get a discount? Overall I think I was taken advantage of; I will not recommend your service to anyone else.”

“Excellent service. Immediate telephone response, engineer was on site within 40 minutes and my diesel tank drained, flushed and refilled in about an hour. Engineer was very polite and efficient. Only drawback which prevented me awarding five stars was the cost which I think was excessive.”
