“I was informed I would receive £20 of fuel after my incorrect fuel was drained, I never received this. I left my car where it was due to going to work and then booked in a time slot. They arrived nearly 2 hours after this and I paid £350 for the luxury.”

“Not overall happy with you guys. Very pushy to start with, trying to diagnose my car issue over the phone, without seeing it, obviously as you wanted the job. Then I was lied to, clearly told it was the wrong fuel in my car even though it wasn't. My car still has a fault currently, so thanks for costing me £380. Glad you got your money 👍”

“I had to wait longer than the time agreed, and nobody kept in touch to keep me updated. I had to call back to find out what was going on. I was on my own, being harassed in a petrol station because I could not move my car. I only agreed because the time stated to get to me originally, was fairly reasonable, which it ended up not being. I then had to pay £100 deposit or they wouldn’t come out to me, which made me feel like I didn’t have any choice but to wait. All in all It was very expensive, and not a good experience at all given the time I had to wait as well. I would not recommend to anyone else.”

“After the repair was carried out,the car would not start ,and the guy had to return to get it started,after spending over 1000 pound,I had to take the car to another garage to get the engine running,I think I should be owed a refund,as they did not get my car running , waste of time and money”

“The service from the call centre was very pushy and I was conned out of money. I told her I’d been quoted £180 including £20 petrol locally. She said she could do it quicker for £204, when he arrived e said the petrol wasn’t included.”

“Really disappointed as all he done was cyphen out the fuel and jump the battery. Which you can do yourself. Cars spluttered and runs awful ever since. Not worth the money at all”

“Service was good when the mechanic arrived but this was after being called by the mechanic with a delayed eta, then when this time was missed, I was asked to wait until midnight or reschedule to the following day. I rescheduled to the following day and the appointment time was missed yet again. Fortunately I insisted that the AA recover me to my home, otherwise I would have been stranded for 16 hours. Whilst the mechanic was helpful and efficient, the rating reflects the service quality from the company, which was not great for the high price you pay.”

“Felt like the call centre were keeping me on hold to stop me using an alternate service provider, rather than just admitting they are busy and booking me in for another day. To be clear, I was very clear that I was not stranded, the vehicle was at my mums house, I could wait for another day and that I didnt have time to wait about but could easily reschedule.”

“Brilliant first contact with fuel fixer who gave me confidence and persuaded me to pay more for an excellent service, with 14 day guarantee. Mechanic arrived quickly but was greeted with immediate suggestion I spent another £30 on some additive - I lost confidence in your service at this point. He was surly . No-one had explained I needed to pay him in addition to the payment I had already made. Confusion over the final amount due which I I was lead to believe was my poor hearing. Absolutely NO written evidence of your 14 day guarantee and I was treated like an idiot when I asked for it. Apart from the excellent initial sales pitch I was so disappointed with the service .”

“The person who came was very professional and really nice but I'm a bit upset that I was charged for £20 of diesel but when he left it appeared that I only had 56 miles of fuel left according to my display which is less than £10. Apart from that thank you for the assistance”

“Hard sell on the phone. Prices given without BAT to make extortionate prices sound slightly less. Give prices with VAT. A simple change will make price comparisons far easier. Your customers are unlikely to be businesses used to gaining prices without VAT.”
