It was likely a suppliers issue out of Fowlers control, but the delayed delivery of some of the order meant that it missed the date my son left the UK and therefore i (in Tanzania) won't now get the parts I ordered until the next person flies out to my location in Feb/March. A more open delivery date would have helped us plan better on how to get the parts out to me - eg via EMS etc.

It's great that you can still get some nos parts however they take a very long time to reach you once a order is placed for a part.

I'm not wanting to leave bad feedback, but I think when an item is on long lead / back-order your system should show the status of that item so that the customer knows what's going on. This order is not yet complete and I had to phone to find out what the problem was.

Ordered a part online after being given the part number on the phone. (I was incorrectly told postage costs are cheaper online). Part did not fit. Given full refund.

Ordered a set of 4 bolts for my Honda st 1100 front fender and got 2 fender bolts and 2 caliper bolts. I have kept the caliper bolt as may find a use for them at some piont and sourced the other bolts from a different dealer.

Hello, i have some issue with the orders, i have no idea when and if the order have shipped, or what ever the status my be, it would be great to know what is the order status, as well to know if faster shipping available, wow the order takes ages to arrive . thank you very much for taking a minute to hear me out stas

Dear Stats, Thank you for taking the time to send us a review. We change the order status on each export order when the items are shipped so you know they are on their way to you. We use the postal service as this is the cheapest way to get items to you. When your basket is calculated and sent back to you, this statement appears:- Shipping via standard international mail. On average this takes 1-2 weeks once posted but please allow 28 days for delivery. We can also send by UPS if a faster and tracked service is required. Please contact us and we can find out a cost for you if that is preferred. At this stage you can let us know which option you would prefer. Lots of items on back order. After one week, emailed to enquire if there was any indication of how long those items may take. No reply...

Hi Ian Sorry for the delay in replying to your message - we have checked with the factory in Italy and your items have been placed onto the lorry for dispatch tomorrow, which means we will likely see them around 10 days after then (they are sent by road which does take a while unfortunately). The parts are good. The ordering was easy. The Saturday delivery that I paid extra for & turned up on a Wedeadly & wasn't signed for was utter crap. Good firm let down by poor distribution.

Dear Robert, Please accept our apologies for the problems you encountered with your order and the failed Saturday delivery. This failure was reported to UK Mail and they have been told it is unacceptable to offer a service that they cannot complete on our behalf. We hope at some point in the future to be able to offer an alternative carrier option to customers who have experienced problems like this. Please be assured we take issues like this seriously and understand what an inconvenience it is for customers to encounter problems of this nature with deliveries, especially when bikes are off the road and awaiting parts. I paid, it arrived so fine, but the postage was the same for a rubber strap that another company charged for a small box containing half a litre of specialist oil??????

Normally I have quite a good experience, but online stock level did not match the actual stock level, so complete order could not be fulfilled in time. Had to reorder missing parts. Although I wasn't out of pocket, it was a faff and took time to sort. I think this may be a one off.
