“I ordered a gift on a Sunday lunchtime. I thought it was for a 50th, but immediately showing hubby the order he said it was for a 60th. I quickly searched for a phone number - nothing - so all I could do was email. All I wanted was the date changing. These are the responses I got - bearing in mind I emailed about 15 minutes after placing the order.
1st response received 1 day later: Having looked into this for you, I can see that your order includes a personalised item. It would have displayed prior to purchase and on your order confirmation that this was due to be personalised and posted by the 10th August. I can see that you have selected standard delivery, therefore the item will be with you within the following 5 working days.
I am sorry if this was missed and any upset caused.
So this did not address the email I sent! Then when I complained I got:
Having looked into this for you, I can see that the order has already been sent off to our suppliers and as such no amendments can be made.
There is a small window of opportunity to change any of the details after purchase and I cannot see that this was selected. We deal with emails in chronological order and as such did not reach your request in time.
I regret that we cannot amend this now.

It will be Etsy every time as I ordered a card at the same time which again a 50, but the supplier was happy to change. In these times of growing hardship those companies that give the best service at the right price will survive and I sincerely hope others will take note of my experience with this poor company.”

“Purchased the Bear Family poster. Confusing ordering process as you can choose up to 8 bears but once you have selected the required amount there isn’t an option to choose ‘no bear’. This lead to a few emails to clarify our order.
Upon arrival, although the quality is ok the poster included 2 pet bowls (we do not have pets). Emailed to clarify and told that this was the design. It makes the poster look very odd so we won’t be hanging it up any time soon.”

Numerous emails - which I suppose is good but how difficult is it to cancel the out of stock item, refund and continue with the rest x 2 and then to have another email about it.

Received in good time, very happy with overall presentation, except for a bad soiling mark on FRONT page of paper, it wasn't an 'age related' mark but a 'handling' one. I contacted the office and spoke to a woman. I was complimentary regarding the overall presentation except for the soiling mark, I asked if she could forward me another paper... that I would return the soiled one. The woman instructed me to 'photograph' it and send it on by email .. I explained I was 82 years old and not familiar with technology/computers and had no idea how to accomplish the task she suggested, I explained that normally one of my adult grandsons would have assisted me, but because of Corona Lockdown that wasn't possible. The woman became irritated and I became upset at her persistent/instructions that I didn't understand... I couldn't believe it when she put the phone down on me. In my younger years I was a Private Secretary working in varied business concerns, and there were many occasions when conversations with customers, business people, required the right approach to solve a problem... at no time did I ever decide that cutting off the complainant was acceptable... IT ISN'T! The woman's job was to assist me, it was not my fault that the gift was stained/marked and time was running out to replace it... my Sons 60th birthday was very special to not only him, but myself as his Mother. Very disappointed that 'all's well' didn't 'end' well!”
