“Bought tickets advertised as an outdoor concert. A few days prior received an e mail stating "for your safety" concert is being moved indoors. Not what I signed up for! No refund available. The CDC states being outdoors is safest - so how is moving INDOORS safer? No, this was done for their convenience, not our safety. Poor operation all around, would give zero stars if possible.”
“If there was an option for "0" stars that is what Fever would get. I booked an event that appeared, at the time, to be credible. 72 hours before the event I get an auto-generated e-mail stating that this "Open Air" candle lit classical concert is being moved from an outdoor event (on a beautiful, clear sky 70 degree evening) to an indoor, social-distanced, mask-required event. That is not what I bought so, of course I want a refund. They offer no legitimate contact information. All they have is a contact submit form. They reference calling them, but no phone number exists...anywhere. I submitted a form requesting a refund immediately. I have heard absolutely nothing. Today, a second automated e-mail with the same event change details. All the while, no response. I also attempted a response to the auto-generated "we received your form" e-mail (probably not monitored, but I am desperate). I finally contacted teh hosting venue. JACKPOT! Ihighly recommend that avenue, as someone there is working with FeverUp on setting up the event and THEY typically DO have a reputation to defend and a footprint in the city. The woman at the venue was fantastic and works with a lead contact at Fever for the event. She promised me service and assured me a refund would be given. Boo to FeverUp, Yay to your local business!!!”
“Unduly complicated procedure to book tickets, which we finally booked on a Thurs eve, July 15, having paid $120.00 plus tax for an hour of chamber music.
With a week to go, we were informed that the concert has been postponed to Friday, July 16, which is not viable for us. What annoyed us especially is that there is no stated option for cash return. That is what we want: our $120.00 back;.Fever is unprofessional in the extreme and prospective concert goers deserve to be b e apprised of that.”
“Terrible experience.
I bought tickets to a London musical for June 2021. The musical isn’t even opening until September 2021!!! I’ve contacted fever over 20 times and I get the same response over and over again. They keep saying they need to transfer the issue to a different department. And I haven’t heard from anyone at all. Not impressed at all.”
“I booked three tickets for the Banksy 'Genius or Vandal' exhibition in Brussels. The website claimed that it was wheelchair accessible.
To our dismay, we got to the building to find that there was NO wheelchair access to get into the building. I was left sitting in my electric wheelchair in the street whilst various different members of staff ran around trying to find a solution. One kind soul even went and found a pair of old wooden shelves to use a makeshift ramp. This didn't work and one of them collapsed with me and my wheelchair on it.
In the end, after much embarrassment, disappointment and frustration, we had to return home with no choice but to contact Fever for a full refund.
This is simply not acceptable. You cannot state that your events are wheelchair accessible when they are not. Not everyone in a wheelchair is an independent wheelchair athlete and no one could get into that building even with a manual wheelchair, without a carer or someone else to assist them. Electric wheelchairs would never get in and are extremely heavy - far too heavy to be lifted.
I wish I could say that this was the first review I have written about this, but it isn't and sadly it won't be the last.
It is 2021. As a company, Fever should be considering all disabilities when organising events. It is not rocket science. Clearly, no thought whatsoever has gone into this event but sadly, this was not my first experience of events being totally ableist. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Everyone should have equal access unless absolutely impossible and if there are unavoidable limitations then these should be clearly stated on the website. Disabled visitors are not 'others' to be excluded.
As this was not our first ableist experience in Brussels, we have decided to never come to an event in Brussels again. This was the last straw for us.
Fever should be ashamed and I sincerely hope that they use this as a learning experience in the future.”
“I had the worse customer service last Saturday at the door where my partner and I were refused entry because our phone dont have QR scanner. The person on the door call Ben was not only confrontational that he told us to go out and get refund straight away, discriminating us because we didnt have qr scanner on our phones. He refused to knowledge us until eventually he agreed to refund our tickets which Im still waiting for 2 days after.
Disgusting service after I have been told previously going to the event that I dont need I code and I just need my ID ticket.
Im feel so disappointed with whats happen, I never feel this type of discrimination before going to an event where I payed my tickets in advance and arrived in the time required. As a customer, I already give my personal details and if the event request the QR scanner that should be advise clearly on the ticket.”
“DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! It is a scam!!! Found out an event I purchased from was not what they made it to be and then they offered to give me my original payment refund. They sent me 30$ and the rest in vouchers!!!! Ever since nobody has contacted me back after countless emails and chats!!!!”
“Not that Fever cares, but this company needs to be shut down. What a woeful excuse of a company that is run by a bot. I actually think a bot would have more customer service than whoever is NOT running this site.
I sent many emails regarding a sudden change in date to an event with no response in return.
I will be informing the venue to ensure they know how damaging this can be to their business.
0 stars from me!”
“This company really is a scam. They’ve given the wrong venue address for customers to follow on their website to an event and after telling them they’ve written the wrong address on the website and after asking for a refund- Customer service has said they would escalate this case to “special case” team. The “special case” team does not exist. It has been 2 months and they still haven’t refunded me. Total scammers!”
“If you can avoid using this app avoid it like the plague!! What a complete joke of a company. The customer service is shocking!!! In what appears to have been a problem with their app on 30th June they attempted to take 3 large payments from my bank account for a ticket purchase. 2 succeeded and 1 declined because they had basically cleared out my account. Contacting them is all digital and you end up in a loop of automatic replies. When you finally get a response they are unable to use common sense (or refuse to) and do not deviate from the standard replies. This was 100% their error as I'm part of a very large group of people making the same purchase and many experienced the same or similar problems. The issue is not resolved but they are no longer responding to my requests. And in all of this I never received any of the tickets they charged me for.”
“I have never in my life written a review for a company but after what I have experienced here I do not want others to fall into the same trap.
This is a scam. They have rescheduled our event twice, with days to spare. They have now changed our event location from Glasgow to London. There is not contact number or way to reach this company other than an FAQ page. This company is a scam, they will keep rescheduling to keep your money until you get fed up and stop chasing it.
Don’t make the same mistake we did - Dad’s 60th birthday is ruined. They don’t tell you the event has change with enough notice to book anything else or get refunds on payments for travel and accommodation.
Avoid this company at all costs.”
“DO NOT TRUST THESE SCAMMERS!!
They sold us tickets and when the event was cancelled they said they would put credit on our account. This never happened. After months of requesting the credit be applied, and then just straight up asking for a refund we were just IGNORED!! Unbelievable. Fever shouldn't even be allowed to advertise this racket.
As much as you may be enticed by their marketing and imagery, don't fall for it!”
“Very disappointed. I get the covid restrictions, but that aside, very poorly put together event.
1. Arrived for the 18:30 event at least 30 minutes before, thinking the event STARTED at 18:30, only to join a queue halfway around the car park until 18:30 when they opened the doors.
2. People left to self manage social distancing in said queue and no queue management.
3. Invited to take picture with Concorde, but no lighting on, only the candlelight for the show. Ambience set, but no real lighting to take good pictures.
4. Booked the expensive seats, expecting a more premium service and position. Instead, we were placed at the back of area A, which was pretty much in the middle of the crowd.
5. Social distance seating arrangements directly forward and back of around two metres and perfectly acceptable, however, to the side diagonally, there was less than a metre. That's not socially distancing.
6. Given that we all needed to be in smaller groups, which is entirely acceptable, we were given access to the bar area, but no one was provided with a table to place their drinks on. As sold and pictured, a table was expected. Smaller tables would have been perfectly adequate, but clearly not provided to pack as many people in as possible.
7. The quartet; while perfectly lovely, some pieces were really not, in my own subjective opinion, great for strings.....Star Wars is a prime example and one of the finale pieces!
8. The actual music event seemed rushed and felt no longer than an hour before we were almost ushered/herded out.
9. One of the organisers wasn't even paying attention to the event or what was being said, as when the spokesman for the quartet said their thank you's and announced the last three pieces and took his place for the final time to start playing, the compere started rushing to the stage to say his piece and thank everyone for a 'great night.
10. When the event was over, and the compere finally did come up and 'hope everyone had a nice night/evening' I felt he was insincere, as one could hardly call a one-hour recital as a night or an evening of entertainment.
11. Once finished, the lights came up, illuminating the hall and finally the beautiful aircraft, this event was pitched to be in the presence of. However, the many 'helpers' rushed to clear peoples bottles and cups and wipe down seats, which really didn't allow anyone time to look around the iconic aircraft before being chucked out. They had another show, due to open doors in 15 minutes for the 21:00 event.
12. The whole event was pitched as Candlelight Concorde. We might as well have been in a village hall for the way the event was created and centred around this icon. There was not a single piece of music related to an aviation film theme, either and it's not as if there weren't a plethora of film scores to choose from.
13. The whole thing felt rushed and was purely about the money and not the guest and patrons feeling that they'd received value for money. I certainly didn't.
All in all, if their other events are anything like this one, don't bother. Even with covid restrictions, they could have made this event amazing, but they didn't and the six-hour round trip for me, was a complete waste of my time and money.”
“They are ignoring all the emails I sent to them regarding my ticket and the voucher which didn’t go through at the time of purchasing. I’m not going to buy any ticket from them anymore. Wish I could give them less than one star”
